yang‘s fine kitchen

Really nice place for an inexpensive night out. The food was great and the staff were very friendly!

It was supposed to be my B-day dinner, $170 worth of food. Place the order, asked for delivery, was told it’s gonna be 1 hour. All good so far. 1 hour and a half past by and no food on site. I called the restaurant, was told the driver is on his way…almost there. 2 hours past by and the driver calls to let me know it’s gonna take another 15-20 minutes before he gets to my place. Speechless!
When I finally got my food, the driver was so apologetic, he even wanted to pay $40 off his tips. He called the restaurant to see if there is anything they can do for this delayed delivery.but their answer was we’re busy and we have no time.
At order time, I wasn’t made aware that they are busier than normal, that the delivery time is longer than anticipated and at least to be given the option for pick up or delivery. If I would’ve picked up the order myself - in 30 min we would’ve had hot dinner, with crispy meat, crispy egg rolls not soggy from the condensation.
The driver asked if I got a call from the restaurant…. Obviously NOT….
Overall…. Terrible experience, food is not at the same quality level as it use to be (when it was Pan Mai), the ribs were very sweet and literally just boiled, the beef vegetable dish wasn’t at the expectation level.
So, honestly …. DISAPPOINTED, very disappointed, in the quality of food - (went down), in the service and especially customer service and accountability.
Not even an apology call, let alone a discount for the inconvenience.
Not gonna use them again, not recommending.

Ordered take out $80 worth, was stale tasting, obviously just warmed up from the day before very rubbery.quality is a generous 3 out of 10.not sure where these good reviews come from.my experience was july 3 7 30 pm and won’t be back under any circumstance.

I love this restaurant the service and Hakka food is the best in the area. 100 percent recommend this place.

We had dinner this evening with some good friends. I WAS TOTALLY TAKEN BACK AT HOW GOOD THIS MEAL WAS 5 STARS + try it you.ll love it WE ALL AGREED

Update in June, 2023. They have more (and more authentic) items on their menu. Had the Sechuan Chicken and it was awesome with just the right amount of zing. 5*

Had dinner at Yangs a few nights ago.and it was great.
They serve North American Chinese food and also some more authentic Chinese food. The dish I ordered was flagged as spicy and - it was! I like food with a little kick and this was it. So much nicer than other Chinese restaurants in the area where spicy means nothing.
I talked to the owner and they used to run a Chinese restaurant in Markham (where it is easy to find great Chinese food). And it shows in the food.
If the old Pan Mai scared you off, give Yang's a try. It's worth it.

The food was terrible and cold, The service was also terrible. If this was the last chinese food restaurant on earth that would have been my last chinese food meal. 0 stars is more accurate.

I ordered take out and went to pick it up. Came home and unpacked it for my kids and they got the order wrong. I called back and they refused to let me keep the wrong order or bring me the right one and wanted me to drive all the way back. Horrible customer service. I use to order there all the time with the old owners.the new ones suck. Never ordering here again.

Had a lovely dinner.would return again if we ever come to this part of The GTA again.it's all Trawnna all the time now in Midland now.
Louise was a gem.loved the mapo tofu.

Food is good with new management.and the portion of meat is good way better the other Chinese resturant in Midland.friendly people and place is clean.

Update: we have ordered from here 3 times now and each time has been consistently good.

Great first experience. Food was good quality. Not too greasy or salty. Delivery driver had quit so we had to pick up, but we were very happy with our meal.

This was our second time here.
They have new items like Pad Thai.
We were quite pleased with our choices.

Amazing food! We tired for the first time tonight and its definitely our new favourite spot in the area.

We love this new local find for us. Great food, friendly staff and quick service. In addition, well priced. My wife really enjoyed the new Shrimp Pad Thai dish.

Absolutely amazing experience.the food was fresh and hot and so delicious.a new family favorite.if you have not been since the old owners please give it a try you wont be disappointed.
