Pastries are all delicious
I tried the meat dishes, plum-flavored pork ribs and braised pork, both of which were too sweet.
The price is a bit expensive, but the pastry tastes really authentic

The food is delicious, I am a regular customer, but I got food poisoning after eating today, my stomach hurts when I go out, I vomit, and I keep sweating

There are many dishes and high cooking skills. The price is expensive, and the dish top is thin. Yi San, Wu Zhi has a small narrative. The place is not big, but there are many customers. Very unique style. Highly recommend.

The food is extraordinary here. Delicate, well made, and a real departure (in the best way!) from the ubiquitous southern Chinese/Cantonese available in Toronto.

I got a fried rice chicken for 30$ the poor dish I ever eat in my life not even chicken inside and plain white rice (I thought was a fried rice chicken) soya salsa iol either.and at very expensive price totally a rip offs. Don’t waste your money there!

Not too bad. The meat is too dry. Big portion you can't finish. Price is a little bit too high.

Taste was very authentic and unquestionably the best tasting shanghai/suzhou Chinese restaurant in Toronto. I see a bunch of people giving lower scores for the higher prices at Yan. But come on man, you can go to a nearby restaurant to eat mediocre food with cheaper prices. You get what you pay for and no free lunch baby.

Authentic food with quality ingredients. Traditional Shanghainese food might be a bit too sweet for a lot of people but I love it!

Food is awesome. High end cooking in a small restaurant, the price is not cheap but worth going. They should do something to the front door, the front door is not presentable

Extremely pricey for the portion size and staff was very rude. It seemed like they didn’t want us there. Won’t be coming back.

Kind of disappointed. They must have changed the chef. Taste were totally different. Not the same as it was before. This will be our last visit.
