It's just a mediocre diner with a very expensive menu for its kind. Food quality is below average. I am amazed how it has so many 5-star reviews. I think people who dine here haven't been to a lot of places.
Great food always, very accommodating with my young twin boys. Service is good but not always great. I don’t like being asked by the waitress if I knew I didn’t leave a tip when I paid by card, when there was clearly a cash tip on the table!
It was really nice that I went there for breakfast and I enjoyed every second! They have big breakfasts for you hungry eaters and I was surprised on how many options they have for everything and also they have fruit for you and toast with most of their classics and if you're a really big eater they have a bigfoot breakfast which I would never be able to finish but it may be a brunch type of thing. Overall I'm trying to say it's a wonderful place.
We had a great breakfast here this morning! Big portions, good coffee, and the food was hot and tasty. Our server was busy as she had many tables, but we still received great service and had a nice experience there. Recommend it for good diner-y breakfast food in the area.
What a great spot! I had the chicken souvlaki and it was amazing. My husband and son had Hot Chicken and Hamburger Steak. Everything was fantastic. Great service, huge portions and reasonable pricing. Will try to go back soon.
I was one of a party of six for breakfast. Everyone in my party, except me, had complete meals. I just ordered a 7Up. I got a can that cost $2.75.plus tax.plus tip. That price is absolutely ridiculous and no refills.
I have to say that this is NOT GREEK CUISINE! The kabobs were doused with the same salad dressing that was placed on the table. The meat was overcooked and the potatoes, again, were not GREEK style potatoes in any way whatsoever. The so-called Greek salad was not appetizing, but much salad was spread out on the plate. Some of it was dirty and old. I'm being honest here and while the plate may have been 'full of food', who wants to eat inferior food? ! Again, salad dressing splattered all over the meal. It was a long wait for the meal and then it went downhill from there. I do not recommend this to anyone. Clean up your menu-make dishes that actually are authentic, well cooked and presented-and then maybe and only maybe you have a chance.
The last 3 times we have dined there (once pre covid and 2 during/since) we have waited between 45 minutes to an hour for our food. The food itself is decent basic food but not worth the wait. Serving staff acknowledged the wait but didnt seem to care much. For the money we have decided we will dine elsewhere.
Amazing little family restaurant with delicious Greek food. Even though I moved away from the area about 6 years ago I still think about the food here and make a point to go here whenever I'm back to visit. Staff are great, treat you like family. Prices are very fair.
We went there for breakfast & it didn't disappoint. The place was packed which means it is a good place. Service was fast, courteous, & delicious. We would certainly go again.
I had the delicious lamb chops which came with Greek potatoes and a crisp salad. A piece of garlic bread or a crusty bun would have been a great acompanyment.
Friendly customer service, amazing food and great dinner specials with generous portions.
Had a dinner for two on a friday evening, the friday dinner specials are quite nice with included choice of side (soup, chef's salad or juice), dessert (bread pudding, rice pudding or jello) and coffee or tea.
Grilled lamb chops tasted great and were nice and juicy. The baked spaghetti was also good, and we also quite liked the pea soup they had.
The clientele were mostly seniors, so we felt like a little out of place, but the staff were really friendly. Washrooms were nice and clean. They accepted Amex at the register. Staff were properly masked and the register had plexiglass barriers with a cutout to make payments through.
In terms of Pokemon Go, the restaurant is within range of a pokemon gym and two pokestops.
Always had excellent meals and lots of food. We have had breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Friendly and pleasant staff and great service and prices. Never turned down for reservations. We will continue to go there.
Yefsi's is a local gem. Delicious every time. The women here are always so helpful and sweet. The smell when you walk is so good and the food doesn't disappoint. A favourite breakfast spot, and dinner too!
Yefsi is the best greek food I have ever had. Their food is so fresh, and their portion size is very generous. The greek potatoes will change your life. I've never had anything like them. Could not recommend more. Every dish (and my partner and I have had lots) has been better than expected!
Love their food! Chicken, pork souvlaki on pita bread with greek salad and potatoes to die for. So good! Today I enjoy lamb with 3 sides of rice, potatoes and greek salad.
Went for breakfast there this morning and must say it was one of the best I have ever had. Have eaten there before and I find their food has more flavor than anywhere I have eaten Highly recommended
Saw an ad about this restaurant. Checked their online menu and decided to try it out. Drove down and ordered souvlaki. It was great. I had the chicken and my wife had the pork. Both were great. Will have to come back again for sure.
So far the best chicken souvlaki/tavukshish I have ever had in Canada, fresh juicy delicately spiced. Great service, clean and cozy atmosphere. Thank you.
Amazing family operated Greek restaurant. The owner George takes pride in preparing his homemade meals. The menu is fantastic and has lots of items to please everyone. The chicken souvlaki is incredible. Also, the salad dressings and all the appetizers are incredible. Greek food doesn't get any better!
Great atmospheres Friendly staff! But best of all it dosen't matter what I have ordered the food is always consistent! Amazing place to go it you wanna have a breakfast dinner or supper. Food is amazing! Eat there all the time.
Always such a wonderful and personal dining experience! Our favourite place to go, and the food is amazing everytime. Their potatoes should be world famous
Watch your take out - ordered a two stick Souvlaki.pick up in 30 minutes.got there and they hadn't started the order. Got home and there was no zatziki sauce. Souvlaki kabob is not Greek without the sauce.owner George was not understanding. Customer service is the most important service. I'll find another Greek place to eat.
The food was really good, absolutely fantastic. If you want to try authentic Greek food, this is the place to come. I'd give this visit a higher rating but being that it was my first time here, the waitress was incredibly rude.
Yefsi's is a great restaurant, you won't go wrong ordering any dish. Having just travelled to Greece I can say they make authentic Greek dishes. The service is sometimes 'slow' by typical standards but they are making your meal fresh. If you want to spend time with your family or friends with a great meal this is the place to go.
Probably a best kept secret from the locals. Nothing fancy.just great food. There Greek dinners are very good. I always pick a dinner to go if I'm going by.my whole family loves this place
First time visiting, as were from our of town. But the food was amazing. Portions were great! There was three of us. We each ordered something different and each of our plates were excellent.
Food was very basic. Nothing special. Fish was frozen. Garden salad was crunchy which was ok but very minimal, Garlic toast was hardly toasted. Asked for a tea, never got it. Had to find ketchup- waitress was busy and only came back to our table when we were done. Place is very outdated.
