Yonge Seafood Gourmet

Picked up a piece of halibut from here for dinner and it was fantastic! Very fair prices, friendly service, and quality fish.

I bought a dozen of oysters, halibut, 2 pounds mussels and scallops from them a few weeks ago. I’m happy with halibut and scallops.

Oyster - 2/12 are empty. When we opened the oysters 2 of them had nothing in the shells. I don’t know how could that even be possible.

Mussels - some of the mussels were open. Tried to tap a few of them they did not close.

At their price point I expect better quality food but this experience was disappointing.

Great, fresh and tasty sushi grade fish. Happy to have this place in the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood. A true hidden gem.

Spotless, no "fish smell", excellent quality, freshness, and selection. Every mouthful was perfect. I didn't try the frozen fish, but there was a good selection.

A small, unpretentious shop with the freshest fish I have been able to find in the city. They have just enough stock of other supplies to make most seafood dishes. This store is a jem.

OMG. Made fish and chips making their halibut and it was so fresh and tasty. No smell of fish at all. Our go to place for all that is seafood. Keep up the great work.
