The service was great! We felt relaxed. However, the receptionist is kinda rude. There was a little misunderstanding with the receipt. I know I should have clarified it with her. But I don't think she needs to be rude about it. She just literally needs to reprint another one and change the name on the other receipt. It's not that difficult.

I had worst experience with the booking. I was cancelled last minute whereas I had confirmed booking. I called multiple times to book but no response and finally book online. Their website is misleading they show all dates are free so I booked online but when I reached there it’s was already booked in fact for whole day. My question is if it’s already booked why can’t you update that in website which show available all the time?

I felt discriminated against by the front office secretary. I have a great insurance plan and was told that I’d have to pay up front even though this spa does direct billing. I had arrived late due to traffic but managed to fill out the appropriate forms yet I was told that the insurance form would take too long. And that wasn’t true. My appointment time was changed by the company and I rushed to accommodate them only to be faced with disappointment with the front line secretary. I would never support a business that has terrible frontline staff.
The massage was great but the therapist would be my only reason to rate a 5.

I called and a lady picked up the phone she said hold on a second hold on a second, I was left over 600s second which is over 10 minutes. Never coming back.

Masseuse was really nice she asked me about the purpose of visiting and helped me resolve work into it. Staff is great. Thank you for having us.

No service actually given. I did go to this place before where I arrived on time as my appointment time and they had me waiting for 25 mins before starting massage and I did not complain about it. The next time I booked an appointment and I was 7 mins late due to traffic and talking to the receptionist almost 15 mins passed away in my one hour appointment and she refused to cover that 15 mins. So I pay for 60 mins and massage would only be for 45 mins so I came back without any massage.

Such an amazing spa. Would strongly recommend to get massages done here! I’ve seen Lynn and a couple other ladies. All very professional and kind staff! The location is kept very clean also. 5 stars!

I visited this place back in December 2022.1) Reception is rude
2) I asked for a appointment. They did have a spot and said I only have couples room available and wouldn't give me since they would make money for 2 people instead. (So it isnt on first come first serve basis) I called my friend and took massage for both
3) I have called this place more than 5 times over last week. Everytime I try to book appointment with them, they put my call on hold and no one ever seems to get back to be. Receptionist will pick your call and put you on hold for more than 5 minutes. What is the point for even picking up?

WOW. My second time here and another amazing session. Massages are new to me but my first time was very welcoming and I was surprised with hot stones during my massage which felt so soothing.

For my second time today, I booked a full body massage. Hot stones were used again which I can now say I love. I've been dealing with a wrist injury and wasn't going to mention it since I've already been doing physio and was worried to aggravate it. After my masseuse worked on one arm/wrist, I decided to tell her only because she was going to do my other injured arm. She asked for my permission to massage it and IT IS NOW FIXED. She kept checking in with me to ask where the problem was and whether I felt ok with what she was doing. The pain is gone when I move my thumb and I am so astounded. I've been dealing with this for 2 months and been doing physio 1-2x a week. She made such a big difference with one massage. She told me it'll feel even better in 1-2 days which I am so happy about.

I will 100% keep coming here and highly recommend it. I also like to fully relax and be quiet and both times I was here, both employees were understanding of that and checked in with me politely without making me feel uncomfortable at all. Thank you!

This place is great to come to with a partner! We always take advantage of their couples packages. They also have great front desk staff and we always leave feeling fabulous.

Been coming here for a few years, receptionist is extremly rude and unprofessional. I will not be returning mainly because of her horrible and unwelcoming attitude. On the other hand the RMT are usually very pleasant however the recent one although she was friendly it was probably the worst massage i ever had. There was no pressure at all only rubbing with cream over my body.

It is an excellent place to relax and unwind. Me and my husband had been getting our massage there for years. I definitely recommend this place because they have good massage therapist

We’ve been coming here religiously all the way from Caledonia and this last visit was just HORRIBLE! We’ve had a not so great visit a couple years ago but we decided to try them again. Boy were we wrong! As a returning customer the customer service was not great, the massage was terrible, very painful and not efficient at all! They was alot of grabbing and no kneading, 1 min of hot stone eventhough that’s what we paid for. We won’t be wasting any more time and gas driving here!

My husband and I went for a couples massage and was left to wait 20 minutes on the massage tables. Two times I had to leave the room in a robe to ask what’s going on.in which the second time I was told one of the masseuse has diarrhea (tmi). We would’ve appreciated if we were informed in advance that there was some emergency or delay.they rightfully agreed to shorten our 90min massage to 60 due to our time constraints, but we were unable to enjoy the massage for multiple reasons. For one, my masseuse without the bowel issue came in and asked if we were Chinese and when I said no, she proceeded to speak Chinese to the other masseuse. The techniques she used were very hasty and I left feeling very disappointed and unsatisfied about the whole experience. While we appreciated the front desk staff’s apology, we will not be returning.

I visited this spa this past Saturday Feb 11th with my daughter and daughter-in-law for early birthday celebrations for the two of them.
We all received package 1 which included a lovely massage, facial and foot oil treatment. The whole experience was absolutely amazing. The spa it self was clean and all the women were so happy and pleasant. The spa technicians we had were Mabel, Vivien and Pinky.
I will definitely recommend this spa to everyone I know and will for sure be back in the near future!

I had a great first time experience today. Easy booking process, and easy communication with the front desk and the RMT. The location is very clean and relaxing, the room is very spacious. Price is also very fair for RMT

This was my first ever spa experience, and I am so glad I chose York Mills Spa & Wellness Centre. Immediately upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and told to wait a few minutes. The place is exquisitely clean. The music is relaxing and the atmosphere created is one of calm and tranquility, just as it should be.

Right on schedule for my 2PM appointment, I was ushered to my room. I was tended to by Grace. She instilled within me a sense of ease and comfort. Light conversation and friendly chatter, with her delicate hands she worked her magic on my face and made sure I was feeling no discomfort during the extraction phase. Just my luck, it was raining outside today, and the gentle pitter patter of rain drops against the window, with the soothing piano music, a heated blanket, amazing service, all made for a truly delightful spa experience.

Have I even mentioned how affordable the prices are? !

You must try this place out; because after the whole procedure, I came out looking and feeling like a million dollars. I cannot thank Grace and the spa enough!

Keep doing what you're doing; I am definitely coming back.

It was actually my birthday yesterday and I decided to show myself some love so I decided to get a spa treatment at this wellness centre. I went on at 5pm and the moment I entered the location it felt pretty Zen. From the quiet environment, to the calm music, the nice view from the sitting area on the 2nd level. Everything felt good. Then came in my RTM Vivien. Vivien has years of experience and you could tell. She politely gave me instructions on how to begin (it was my first time in my life getting a massage treatment so I had no clue and I was nervous!) then we went to the room, it was dimly lit and so pleasant smelling. Everything smelt clean and fresh. I opted for package 1 which included the massage, foot treatment and facial. My RTM asked me what areas I wanna target for the massage and I said back and shoulders. Vivien took great care of me, the hot stone was so so therapeutic with the music combined I was transported to another realm no cap. It brought back memories of when my mother used to give me oil massage for my scalp/hair (I'm Indian so my mom did that). It was a very very relaxing treatment and I enjoyed every bit of it. All my stress that was in my lower back has gone, I wish I could do this every week. Best birthday ever and my RTM was kind to even tell me the other treatments for my back and the ones for glowing skin. Special thanks to her and the York Mills Wellness centre. Will def recommend to my friends and come again.

I have been to many spas and health centres and I would recommend this spa to anyone. They are professional, clean, serene, friendly, experienced, and are reasonably priced. I have been a loyal customer and will continue to be time and time again. Highly recommend.

Incredible facility that's operated very professionally and with great care! Great place! Loved the feng shui and ambiance of the establishment! My deep tissue massage was amazing and left there feeling refreshed and energized! Hope to come back for more sessions.

Overall not a good experience! I have booked a couple's massage for August 7th 2022. When I got the place, I was told to go downstairs and wear slippers in a rude way. Receptionist has no manners and she asked for tip at the end by putting us on the spot. Do we tip other healthcare workers in this country? No, so why should this be any different. Also, my lower neck-pain is worse now! Don't recommend this place as the customer service is not good at all.

Went to this place with my mom and friend so we can treat mom with a special spa experience. The ladies here were just running around and rushing through every service we took which is meni pedi facial and massage. There was no massage or scrubbing in meni or pedi. The nailpaint chipped off the 2nd day. During the facial, there was a lot of disturbance from the ladies and i dont even know people attended to us because our eyes were closed. Seemed like they didnt manage time properly so rushed through everything. Overall didnt have good experience while spending about $600.

I’ve been going to York Mill Spa since it opened! (Over 8 years!) Jenny the owner is wonderful and so is her staff! I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I always recommend this spa to my friends and coworkers!

I had a pulled a back muscle a few years ago and was in a lot of pain, i was desperate for some relief. I went to York Mills Spa and they worked their magic and I felt 100x better. I’ll never forgot how much they helped me! Thank you all! I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Their service was very amazing. Highly recommend, but I would like to advise everyone to get the clear instructions regarding their bill before they start with the service as I had bad experience related to that. But I must say, they have best Massage therapists in the area

This is my go to for my massages. All of the RMT’s that I seen, are all amazing. Definitely the best RMT in North York. The spa is so clean, the rooms are very spacious great for couples massages.

I just want to take a moment to leave a positive & glowing review for Helen. Helen is a Registered Massage Therapist & has been treating me for about 2 years. In 2015 I was hit by a car while crossing the street & landed on my back. Since seeing Helen regularly my back pain has drastically been reduced.

Helen's technique is traditional Chinese medicine informed. She's super multifaceted specializing in Hot Stone Massage and can also put you to sleep with a Swedish Massage. A phenomenal RMT and a fantastic conversationalist!

Amazing! I really enjoyed my 60 min. RMT massage with Mabel! Like I really can’t wait to refer anyone I know to this clinic. The place is very clean, tidy, and felt like a hotel. Mae/ May assisted my booking smoothly. The massage technique was really soothing. Mabel was able to stretch my muscle knots and problem areas. My bones were making the cracking noises too as she extended them lol I wonder if this place will be jam-packed once Walmart opens across them.

Just a note, the actual massage room is one floor above and you’ll have to climb up a number of steps. I dont think there is an elevator, but I see that they can accommodate people in the ground floor too. Slippers were provided to keep their floors clean! Ahhhh you’ll have to try this clinic! You’ll not be disappointed! Tip well my friends.

Went for first visit was skeptical about a pedicure laying down but was pleasantly surprised it was very relaxing. Had 45 min RMT massage and it was fantastic the person knew exactly where I needed the most work and i felt amazing afterwards. Will go again for sure!

I loved the massage and great service. But had few initial hiccups with front desk lady not knowing any details and sending me up and down twice and making me wait inspite of having an appointment. 4 points only bcos of the front desk fiasco

Absolutely best massage place I've been to. Better than my physio clinic, better than the overpriced luxe massages I had to travel downtown for. This is my go-to for muscle pain AND they include hot stone massage for 85 a person before tax.

Only downside is the receptionist can be a little rude. The first time I went with my partner for a couples' massage, I paid for it all out of pocket as a gift. We were 90% sure we didn't have the insurance to cover it and were speculating out loud about it. As my partner was thanking me for paying, the receptionist kept interrupting to say 'but insurance will cover it. ' It didn't in the end, but thanks for undercutting my gift to my partner. We were both really put off. As a regular, I find this attitude is a frequent issue with her but not enough to deter me, just annoying.

First time at this spa and Im very pleased with the service I received, very professional staff, space is clean, products used for massage and facial mildly scented and delicate.i will definitely be back and highy recommend

Haven't been to a spa since covid and was a bit nervous about it. But I've been to this spa a few times and always loved the service. They are very nice, very professional and the spa was clean. They followed all protocols and the service was amazing. I went to treat myself for my birthday with my sister. We got a 60 mins massage and facial. Massage was great and my skin was so soft after the facial. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I will definitely be going back.

I would have rated this place a 4 probably but because of the way they communicated things, I'm giving it a 3. First of all, I used my insurance to get my spa done.

For those saying, oh y complain when insurance is free note that my employer deducts a portion of my salary for insurance. When my husband & I arrived at the location, we were asked to fill the form which we did. Our appointment was booked for 4.30 but the session started at 4.50 which is fine. Before our session started the receptionist was trying to submit my claim & she said that the system is down so she'll keep trying & if the claim does not get submitted by any chance, she asked me if I can pay upfront and later claim, to which I said okay. But within seconds the system worked and she said never mind everything is good.

After my service was done, I waited for a couple of mins in the reception area but since no one was there and it was already 6.30, I left. After about 20 mins later the reception lady gave me a call saying my insurance can claim only 80% and I have to pay 20% upfront. While I didnt have an issue paying & I said okay charge my card, I would have appreciated this information to be communicated to me in advance and not after the service was done.

I won't visit the location again because of lack of transparency in their communication!

Just had the spa couple package 3 with the hubby. 1 hour deep tissue massage was delightful and worth the cost. 1 hour pedicure was interesting…I’ve never had a pedicure while laying down. Although it was quite relaxing I found that it wasn’t the best. Though my feet are soft, all of the dead skin was not removed. This is an aspect that I need in my pedicures. I would have preferred grazing or a more rough slough of the dead foot skin. Otherwise the nail polish application was flawless. I don’t think the cuticles were pushed back very far/cut. It’s hard to tell since I was laying down. The foot massage/reflexology was nice, nothing spectacular. All in all I would return for another deep tissue massage in the future. I will stick to my regular pedicure spot in the mean time.

The rooms are very spacious and I love that the massage therapist knows how much pressure each individuals likes. The area is clean and I like how they are expanding the place.

It was upstairs in an office building, it wasn't a great experience trying to find. Parking was difficult to figure out aswell, and very limited. Overall the staff were friendly but I thought the overall cleanliness was poor. Dust build up, marks on furniture and dirty towels left around. I feel for the price I should have to put my feet into a large steel bowl with a bag in it. I understand hygienic practice but there has to be something more "luxurious" you could be utilizing. The towel she put on my feet has a must smell. I also had to wait after my nails were done for them to air dry, which I think is a poor practice. Over all I enjoyed my nail tech, but I wouldn't return sue to the up keep of the nail area.

Can't say it was a wonderful experience. Had an RMT massage (although good it was harder than I prefer and left me in a lot of pain). The pedicure is done on the same table as the massage, so you're lying down and fully unclothed from the massage. When she started applying nail polish I reminded her that I needed to put my clothes on first otherwise my polish would get ruined. So she stopped mid way (and didn't finish the bottom coat on one foot) and I had to get dressed and got back on the same oily massage table with my clothes. So very not cool. I asked her to cut my nails short, but because you can't see anything (because you're lying down), you have no idea if it's the right length. It wasn't short enough for me. Also the nail polish application did not look like it was done by a professional. I honestly could have done a better job. Needless to say the whole situation was very awkward and I won't go back.

I sincerely love this place. The price is average for massages and I love how amazing the hand work is. The pressure is just right. I've been twice and my masseuse was different each time but they were simply great. Definitely eased my tensions and will be back!
