Yorkgate Mall

I never visited this place before the pandemic but the guards who let us in were nice and the mall looks clean.

I'm sure this mall has the RG Mitchell Thomas The Tank Engine kiddie ride, but unfortunately, it got removed.

I was able to purchase what I went there for.it is an older style mal shopping complex so it appears tatty.

Its good just that its in bad neighborhood. The area was under construction when i went there and it was complete mess.

Still the same dump. Back in the day it use to be decent full of life big brand stores and decent places to ear with better scenery and a tiny theme park outside. At this point especially with covid this place is desolate.

Its not a good mall. Some of the stores are not interesting. The only decent thing about the mall is the food court. No frills is not even in the mall its just attached to it. There's a dentist office, dollarama, a gym with a seperate entrance. Some basic stores honestly its kind of waste of a time in here most of the people who come here aren't nice from my experience theres also a tim hortons so thats i guess another decent thing. Mall needs huge improvement in my opinion

The Yorkgate mall is located north west of the infamous Jane-Finch intersection. Most of the stores inside the mall are small including No Frills, Planet Fitness, Bank of Montreal, Pharmacy, LCBO and Dolarama. This is a two-story mall and houses over 50 businesses. Car park is very spacious and adequate even during peak shopping times. Face mask is mandatory. If you liked this review, please press the like button below. I do support our business near my area try our food court no frill, lcbo, bmo, tim horton, convenient store, jewwelry, shoe and chlothes that suit your needs and most of all federal services for the area and health center

If you live in the Jane and Finch area, this is your go-to mall. No frills has all your groceries, the BMO for all your banking, the Zellers (no longer there) with your clothing needs and the dollar store for everything else. Felt safe even late at night. Always clean and inviting.

Caribbean Cuisine is the spot to go to if you go to Yorkgate. Friendly faces, kind people and AMAZING food.

Only franchise stores is the Dollarama and I'd recommend the Dollarama in the mall across the street versus this one

the Arene is an outlet some great finds

There is an LCBO (mall hours)
And they just added a Tim Hortons

Limited choices and selections on food, clothing and other merchandise. Did not check prices. It does have a LCBO.

I only go there because of its proximity, the No Frills and Dollarama. Otherwise, I do not particularly enjoy shopping there.

Small mall is not the place to go to shop for big items as the provincial government is the mall biggest tenant

6 monthd ago I went to this mall and it's cleaning conditions weren't the best, however I went back yesterday very early in morning when the mall doors opened and I realized that the floors were super clean, very shiny and the washrooms were immaculate.
I will definitely come back since this mall had improved its cleanliness.

Small, very few shops inside the mall. Food court does not like inviting. Most of the people go to the shops on the outside.

It's clean, A Si Vous Play store inside a decent food court upstairs. Could use a few brand name stores

Just not a mall where I would like to go again. I visited it as I was at No Frills there.
The environment, the gentry, nothing seemed to comforting or relaxing or appealing. The experience that one wants at a mall was majorly missing from this one.
No frills would be the only reason to visit this place.

Clean well positioned mall serving the needs of the Jane Finch community. A wide variety of specialty stores and services to meet the need all in a clean well lit environment

They have no frills, si vous play, dollaramma and a nice florist. A bunch of independent stores that are hit or miss.

A nice clean small mall. It doesn't have a lot of stores in it so there limited to variety of things. But what makes it so good is that they often have events, some (FREE) may I add! For kids! They also a 24/hr big gym that is clean and friendly staff, a 24/hr laundromat that is also clean and big. Thanks yorkgate, please continue to have more events for the kid's and family. 5

This mall is one of the most dismal malls that I have every been to in the country. The food choices in the food court were poor. I ate the Chinese food and it was tasteless! There are no good shopping options here and the quality of patron is far from stellar. I shall not return to this mall in the future.

Could be better, selection of store are really poor, the only flagship store here is the LCBO. An H&M would be nice, old navy? Something from this century

Not the best mall in the city but it's great for convenience. The people (customers/visitors) who come to the mall are not great people, very rude and ignorant.
Selection of stores is not great, the stores that are their are centuries old and not relevant to today's trends. To buy classic things it may b a great mall. *BE AWARE A LOT OF CHEAP PRODUCTS SOLD*

I feel home whenever I visit this mall, especially seeing the locals either shopping or the seniors who’re sitting in groups, playing games and enjoying the day as it rolls by

Love this mall it is the mall where I shop the management also help by giving us space to hold community event.
