Highly recommend using Dr. Tong for your cosmetic surgery needs. I came in for chin lipo and had wonderful results. His team was wonderful and so kind. Smooth and seamless process.

Dr. Tong and his team provide seamless plastic service from preop check in to postop followup for out of town patient. Dr. Tong is a super nice and approachable surgeon who took his time and answered all the questions before the surgery. The results are just as expected. Highly recommended.

Dr. Tong, Jean and their administrative staff are all exceptional. Not only did they provide me the amazing results I was looking for, but they were kind, considerate, and knowledgeable throughout every step of the process. Their office is beautiful and conveniently located. Despite being located in Yorkville, their prices are very competitive!

It's been over six months since my simultaneous blepharoplasty and epicanthoplasty surgeries with Dr. Tong, and I am so pleased with my decision and with the service I received. I had one eyelid with the appearance of a double eyelid, and the other appearing like a monolid, and wanted them evened out after years of using tape to correct it.

I waited about five months for a consultation, but was able to book surgery for about five weeks later. It was uncomfortable to be partly awake for the surgery, even with the anesthetic, but it seemed to go by fairly quickly. I had significant pain immediately after but took medication and this helped a lot. Both eyes were operated on, to achieve a symmetrical result, and they both look natural and probably as close to perfectly symmetrical as a human hand can achieve! By the time I returned to work two weeks later, swelling had mostly subsided and it was not perceptible that I'd had surgery. To date no one has ever noticed or commented on it, not even my immediate family, except to say that it looks very natural when I share that I've had surgery done.

My only recommendation to prospective patients would be to discuss options for anxiety with the team beforehand. The day of the surgery, I didn't think I was anxious, but by the time I had been prepped for the OR, I did feel very nervous and probably would have benefited from some management there. I'd also say to manage your expectations, as nothing will ever be perfect and even the best result may come with other unexpected impacts on your appearance that you'll have to get used to (for example my eyes now look slightly bigger, and expose more of my tear duct area, which I find looks a bit weird but would probably never notice on another person). For the most part Dr. Tong will say that it's up to your aesthetic preference, so do your research as to the crease height etc.that you want.

Overall I'm very pleased and have referred someone else to Dr. Tong already, based on my experience. Communication was great, my questions were answered thoroughly, and the healing process was very straightforward. I had no pain or discomfort after the day of surgery, apart from when my stitches were taken out. I really find Dr. Tong is very skilled at what he does, and that it was worth what I paid.

I have had a Wonderful experience with Dr Lawrence Tong and his team. He is an extremely skilled surgeon and his work speaks for itself.

I have had two procedures done with him. The first was a breast lift with implants done more than 5 years ago and they still looks like they were done yesterday. I am very active and have never had any problems or concerns.

The second and more recent procedure was a tummy tuck. I was really nervous about the scar outcome as I am petite and didn’t have a lot of loose skin. I was scared of the potential vertical scar. Having had the surgery, I am extremely happy and the scar is better than I expected.

Dr Tong has the best bed side manner I have ever experienced with a doctor period. He explains the procedures so well and never made me feel rushed.
I even asked him on day of surgery if he was the only one doing all the closing sutures, every single layer. That is probably not a very polite question but I am so scared of anyone other than him doing any work on me, I had to ask. He just smiled and assured me he was the only surgeon on the floor.

I recommend him to all my friends and family without any hesitation.

Dr. Tong is an extremely talented surgeon. I had two procedures done, an upper blepharoplasty and a revision. The results have surpassed my expectations! Not to mention, his team is super friendly and efficient. If you’re looking for a great Doctor, look no further.

I got a mini neck lift procedure a little over a week ago - I am beyond excited and content with the results already, the entire experience exceeded my expectations as a 28 year old seeking out cosmetic surgery for the first time!

Dr. Tong and his team were my first choice after reading many reviews and doing a lot of research on my desired outcome.

While I had to wait a few months for my consult, it was well worth the wait - Dr. Tong has an excellent bedside manner, I immediately felt at ease in his office and he suggested the perfect procedure for me that wasn't overkill considering my age/health - he also provided a great deal of information regarding all my options for other procedures so I felt confident and informed enough to proceed with the best option considering factors like my age/finances/desired results.

From the day I booked my appointment, I've felt that same confidence alongside every stage of the process. Dr Tong's team are delightful and excel in customer service - Jean and Shannon as well as all the nurses I encountered the day of my surgery have been so responsive, helpful, warm and patient. They truly create an environment where you feel secure and comfortable, and know your questions and concerns will always be answered in a timely manner and with care.

Recovery has gone faster and easier than expected which I am sure is a testament to the great care Dr Tong puts into every procedure, as well as the fact that he gave me all the information necessary for pre and post op care to achieve the best healing and results.

I'm so happy to say that thanks to Dr Tong and his team, I absolutely love the way my face looks. I feel like a new person practically and can't wait to resume my life post-recovery with this new confidence and overall comfort with my appearance. I will certainly be returning if I need any more procedures done in the future, thank you again!

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Tong and his team and his work. INCREDIBLE! His staff are always available, friendly, on point, and conscientious. Loved working with the team. When I arrived for day of surgery I was impressed with the entire process. IMPECCABLE! I felt safe, calm, cared-for, and confident in Dr. Tong's abilities. I had my blepharoplasty done with Dr. Tong months ago. I wanted to find someone who was familiar with Asian eyes. I’m from out of town and drive 5 hours just to have my surgery done with him and have since recommended him to all family and friends.

37yo white male here. I did a ton of research for subtle, natural-looking rhinoplasty improvements and Dr. Tong came up a lot on various plastic surgery forums. (I had a few other consults in Toronto with other well-known surgeons.). The consult with Dr. Tong was great, this felt like the right choice. Still, I was really nervous about the surgery itself and what the actual results would be. It’s been seven weeks since the surgery now and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s subtle and just looks all around better. Everything that bothered me is gone and I still look like me. I highly recommend. Especially over all the other options in Toronto.

I just had double eyelid surgery and chin liposuction done with Dr. Tong on June 8th. From first consultation to post op, everything just went smoothly. Jean was very helpful in all my queries.
