Overall a good drivers ed course but in the beginning during my in class lessons there was a large gap between the two weekends of learning which was at no fault of the instructor as he had medical issues but still slightly annoying. The process of booking and organizing my in car lessons was handled poorly due to the same reason and ended up taking around 6 months to start and I had to reach out to young drivers to actually figure anything out as I was not contacted. The reason I am still giving them 4 stars is because of my in car lessons with Tim. They were absolutely great he always brought positivity and support into the lessons and prepared me extensively for my G2 road test even when I had to take a 2 month break in the middle of our lesson due to post secondary school and I couldn’t have done it without such a great instructor.

Posting as I know of many clients who need lessons and unfortunately A YD Staff member suffered a serious medical emergency. I went to Collingwood at World Class Driving who are MTO BDE Approved The Owner of the School asked the MTO to transfer my file and complete the course with them. You might be able to finish your hours if another MTO BDE approved school will take your files on. Overall this is a terrible situation for all parties. I wish the best outcome for all parties.

DON’T DO IT. This is not the YD you remember from your own drivers ed.the training itself was effective for my daughter, so the one star all goes to the instructor, I hope he does himself a favour and gets a job with another group. The company itself deserves -5 negative stars. I’ve never dealt with a company with such bad communication and blatant disregard of their paying customers. Please don’t do it to yourself.

Awful experience. This division was privately owned, had some internal issues and ghosted the students. No returned calls from owners all the while. Then head office takes them over and will not issue refunds after my 16 yr old who payed for his own course made other arrangements. Poor management locally and corporate. Give a kid his money back!

Spent nearly $1000 for their course, did a week of in class training, and it's been radio silence since. Absolute scam, wouldn't touch them with a 20 foot pole.

Paid for full program that has not been delivered and can't wait months for this to be sorted. If anyone has been successful with getting a refund let me know. Corporate young drivers said they won't issue a refund. Frustrating

Does anyone know if Owen sound location is still open. We have paid in full, but no response to voice messages. The classes for which we paid are during the weekends of march break. The website says temporarily closed.

Very unorganized and horrible communication! Do not book with Young Drivers in Owen Sound. No one answers emails, texts or phone calls. It was a miserable process trying to book my daughters in car lessons. I thought we were finally in the clear when she finished everything in December but nope! We’ve now been waiting 2 months for her certificate and no one will answer any form of communication. Without her certificate she can’t book her road test. The entire process was super frustrating. I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m just trying to save you the headache.

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
if i could id give this no stars. This has been so frustration trying to get this over with getting my g2.in class learning was so boring i fell asleep.it got canceled then rescheduled 2 months later.ive had one incar lesson and he cancled them after that.once i was waiting for 10 min then they let me know it was cancled.when i had my one in car he was rude and made me feel like a horrible driver constantly critisizing stupid little things like i closed the door too hard or pulled the parking brake too hard.its impossible to get ahold of them on the phone to rescedule.please dont waste your money go somewhere else.this is a horible place.i dont know how it was ever a good driving school i wish it was for my sake.

Buyer beware! It's unfortunate. My son went through young drivers three years ago and it went quite well. And I do understand the difficulties covid created. However, since my daughter started more than a year ago they have not returned a single phone call to either my daughter or myself. They don't answer questions over email and my daughter has been trying to book her in car for three and a half months and have still heard nothing. And won't respond to the emails. I don't what's happened but they are having serious issues these days.
