Are you super nervous about the road test and feel like you aren’t prepared at all? This is the place for you. I went with Sam and I went from a nervous wreck to the most confident driver 2 weeks! Because of Sam I was able to pass my road test and I’m so grateful! She’s kind, patient, supportive and a great teacher! The receptionist was also very sweet so I’m confident that all their staff is amazing! Thank you Young Drivers!

I had a really great experience with young drivers and especially with my instructor Mike Gervais! He’s very calm and understanding and his lessons were so incredibly helpful to prepare me for the G2, as well as the G test. The lessons were very easy to understand, and they also consisted of funny and easy conversation which definitely helped me to relax while driving. He feels more like a friend than an instructor a lot of the time which is so amazing. I highly recommend him to everyone but especially to anyone who feels driving anxiety at all, he has helped me overcome any fears just by our conversations and letting me know that it’s okay to make mistakes. Overall he is an amazing instructor. Thank you Mike!

Mike was my instructor while going though my G2 training. He was very good at reassuring me as a driver and building my confidence! He was a great instructor and young drivers is a great program!

I just completed my lessons with Michael, and it was the best training I've ever received. He made me feel safe behind the wheel, and gave me many tips for driving that actually made sense. He allowed me to develop my skills as a driver, and I would do the course again in a heart beat (as long as Michael was the instructor). 10/10 would recommend.

I signed my daughter Liv up for your services. I have to say from the early stages of training to obtaining her G as of today, it has been flawless! Even the last minute refresher before the last road text…perfect. Mike was her instructor…couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! He is amazing and really helped build confidence in my daughter while growing her driving skills and abilities. Amazing service! Thank you Mike for all that you do! It’s been a wonderful journey for her!

I am so grateful for young drivers and my instructor David. I had very low confidence when it came to driving, I was scared and had anxiety because I went to a previous school who didn't teach me much. At young drivers I learned everything I need to know and I feel safe and confident when I'm driving out on my own now. Young Drivers really cares and wants you to succeed which means a lot. David went through everything that was gonna be on the road test so I'd be fully prepared. I highly recommend this school!

I had the privilege of having Michael as my driving instructor and am extremely satisfied with his helpful driving lessons! Just today I passed my G2 drive test thanks to Michaels important driving advice and excellent driving practice. Thanks so much Michael, it was a real pleasure to drive with you!

Donny was extremely professional and personable which put me at ease as I am already an anxious driver. I appreciated his patience as he didn’t mind repeating the same thing 100x until I got it. He definitely gave me the confidence I needed to continue driving and I feel less anxious about my G test. He’s definitely good at what he does.

Signed up with Instructor Jean for my G1 exit road test and with Instructor Lauren for my G road test and managed to pass both test easily. Both were great and friendly instructors that I highly recommend.

5 stars for David Smith, YD Kitchener I had 2 other instructors (plus the ones from my country) before him and they were great too but David makes funny and nice conversations so you won't be too stressed out or anxious WHILE he was paying close attention at everything what I was doing and explaining/corecting. He goes above and beyond to make sure you understand everything you need to know in any possiblesituation. I love the little "tips and tricks" that he gives so you can remember thingseasier. Very very correct and acknowledged while you're not feeling too intimidate or anxious! I'm very thankful I had him as my instructor

Lauren was my instructor for my G test prep and she was incredible. She was steady, knowledgeable, and professional. I had failed my g test before so went to Lauren for some extra lessons and I am so glad that I did. I passed my test with flying colours and I couldn’t have done it without her! I’d highly recommend Lauren and young drivers to anyone who is looking for driving school!

Lauren was an amazing instructor to have during my G2 prep! She was extremely kind, patient, and so knowledgable about the actual G2 test. She was also incredibly empathetic in listening to my past negative driving instructor experiences. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to be her student. She is truly an amazing person.

Mike was an amazing instructor. He was patient, calm, kind, attentive, and most of all respectful. I cannot recommend their services enough!

I can’t thank my Driver Instructor, Mike, enough for the help he gave me over the course of my in-car lessons in preparation for my G2 Road Test. Going into it all, I was extremely nervous about getting on the road. However, Mike’s understanding, enthusiasm, patience, and excellent teaching techniques immensely helped to ease my nerves and eventually gave me the skills to pass my Road Test. Whether it be Parallel/ Reverse Parking, or Lane Changes & Turns, Mike is your guy. He’s also extremely personable, and we were able to have fun conversations about our similar interests, which certainly helps with those nerves! Overall I wholeheartedly recommended Mike and Young Drivers!

Keith was a great driving instructor and helped my get over my fear of changing lanes and was always patient even with my anxiety. Thanks to him I passed my g2 first try. Highly recommend

I had Keith as my driving instructor and I can confidently say he is the best driving instructor out there. He taught me so much and helped me feel very comfortable at the wheel. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

So! I am writing this review, filled with joy!
My instructor at this location of the Young Drivers of Canada, Lauren Lytle, was so calm, professional, and encouraging that she was able to help me get over my past bad experience with another private instructor. I was able to pass my G2 with no issues- super confident, and ready! I absolutely suggest their service if you are looking for an excellent experience. After all, driving is a skill you will learn to use for the pretty much rest of your life: D

I had my G2 with Lauren, and she was amazing. I learned some really helpful tips about parallel parking and hill parking from her during lessons. Really charming, relaxing presence to be around during an anxious time. Would highly recommend

My son became a more confident driver with his instructor, Lauren. Her directions were clear and she did a great job preparing him for his road test! The young drivers staff were very helpful when booking or rescheduling.

I had a great time here. I learned how to be collision free and safe on the road. Mike was my instructor and I can not think of anyone else I would rather have teach me. He was very friendly and always had an answer to my questions. Very awesome driving school, could not of asked for better.

Being a very nervous, inexperienced driver, Keith has been a wonderful in-car lesson teacher for me. He has been very patient, and has done a great job of explaining the rules of the road. Overall my experience with Young Drivers has been informative and enjoyable.

I would highly recommend the Young Drivers course, as I had such a great experience. I had Mike as my in-car instructor, and it is thanks to him that I am as confident on the road as I am. I definitely recommend young drivers. I had Keith who was welcoming and explained everything with amazing clarity. He prepares you exceptionally well for your g2 test. This is a great course that will help you to succeed!

I had a very positive experience with young drivers. My in class instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable. My in car instructor seemed very experienced and he helped me improve my driving confidence and skill. I would recommend young drivers to anybody looking for a great confidence boosting course.

I had a really great experience for both in-class and in-car. My instructor Keith, who I had for both, was very knowledgeable and helped me become a better defensive driver. I would ten out of ten recommend Young Drivers.

Young Drivers is the best driving school hands down in Waterloo my instructor Kieth was an amazing teacher and prepared me for my G2 test perfectly, he also took me through a drive through which i have never done before and made sure that my driving skills were better than par with the G2 standards. I highly recommend YD:)

I really enjoyed my time during the young drivers course. I learnt a lot about road safely. My in car instructor, Mike was very helpful for getting me through all my lessons to the point where I was able to pass my road test! He has a great personality and always stayed calm when I couldn’t stay in the lanes:)

My experience at YD was great. The in-class teacher was amazing, funny and helpful. He made the days go by quickly, and I learned a lot. As for the in-car, I had Mike as my teacher. He was really good, and taught me valuable skills, as well as being easygoing and fun to talk to. I never felt nervous or scared of him or driving while getting my lessons. I would highly recommend YD to any new driver. You get what you pay for with driving schools, and although YD is slightly more expensive, it pays off with the quality of the education you receive.

The program helped me gain confidence and feel more comfortable behind the wheel. Keith was an amazing teacher and taught me the skills in a way that I could best understand. A truly remarkable experience with a true G

Very helpful to get my confidence up while driving and taught me a lot more about the rules of the road

I was very satisfied with my in-car instructor. He taught me how to be a safe and trusted driver. Also, he answered all of my questions about the laws that a driver has to obey and respect in Canada. I came from another country and the laws and driving style are different than Canada.

I'm glad that I chose yd Waterloo for my drivers ed. The course plan and materials are well structured. The online resources are useful. The in class instructor was well experienced and made the class interactive and interesting. He shared a lot of real life experiences and tips. I had Mr. Keith as my in car instructor. He was always punctual, patient and understanding. He explained safe driving habits and helped me practice the same. Also gave me valuable feedback to practice until next lesson. Also, he clarified all my questions regarding road rules and various scenarios. Overall, I'm a much confident driver now, having transitioned from driving on one side of the road to the other.

My driving instructor, Kevin, was honestly the best part of the whole young drivers experience, he was extremely helpful and comforting and I never once felt stressed or uneasy in the car with him. The experience with him made it a 11/10. Great Job:)

Very exciting experience with Young Drivers. This guys give all the information you need and everything you have to know when you are on the road. My instructor Mike helped a lot and taught how to drive carefully.

I had Kevin as an instructor and the conduct of the in car lessons were very thorough and covered off the bases I was most concerned about with driving. He was encouraging and professional which made the lessons more helpful as well.

It’s was an amazing experience, I had Kevin for an instructor and he taught me how to be confident and clam on the road. He help me grow into an great driver, he was also very patient. Overall it was the best expirence I could have, I can now say that I am a great driver. Jean Graul was my young drivers instructor and she was the best I could have asked for! She was always calm, knew what to do in any given moment but was also able to keep me calm at the same time! She cares for her students and I've always felt safe when driving with Jean.

Young Drivers of Canada as a school is worth it and I would absolutely recommend.

I had a great experience with YD! Prior to this, I had absolutely zero driving experience and was really nervous and lacked any confidence. But, my instructor Keith was really patient and he helped me gain the skills required to drive confidently and safely. He's really experienced and is always ready to answer questions.

Had a great experience with my young drivers instructor Keith! He was very accommodating and flexible with my busy schedule. He was also east to contact when i needed to get ahold of him. Before i started my lessons i wasn’t very comfortable behind the wheel but now i have gained much more confidence. Would recommend Young Drivers!
