Shelly the owner just made my day. In the store you will find Canadian meat. No hormones. Fruits and vegetables. Pies. Her Husband was chef. Imagine you are getting a very good meat for your BBQ. They are baking in the store. Butter milk. Ciabatta. All pies are proper made.
They are opening a restaurant downtown Ridgeway. Very beautiful people. Make sire you stop by and shop real meat.

We had an opportunity to taste the beef tenderloin steaks fro farmgate when our friends invited us over for dinner.by far the best tasting steaks we have ever had.plan on visiting and stocking up

Beat lamb I’ve ever had well prepared! Cooked on the rotisserie. My father Paul Zaniol had previously bought a pork roast that was unbelievable as well keep up the good work!

Amazing sandwiches, packed with ingredients. Yummy cinnamon rolls and can’t wait to get the steaks on the BBQ tonight. Staff was knowledgeable and speedy and owner Shawn was happy to assist with selecting the perfect cut of meat.

Always a treat to find something good to have for lunch or dinner! Not only is the meat always good but so are.all the prepared.meals.

Stopped by this weekend for some steaks, which were amazing! Also grabbed some bacon for lunch and some of their fresh ciabatta buns. We will probably come back more for the bread than the meats! They were so soft and fluffy!

Also the staff were super friendly and helpful! If you need some meats or bread make sure you stop by!

Good products but the prices are nuts. One regular size steak $38.53!

First visit, Sean shared so much knowledge regarding cuts and quality. Made a mdm size order of beef and pork, went back the next day. Will Absolutely support this business

Just had one of Shawn's new sandwiches, the vegan one. Oh my! Absolutely delicious! Just the right amount of spice and the flavor combination entices you to wanting more. Layer upon layer of goodness with his homemade bread as the vehicle for all this goodness.

Really great looking, top quality products served here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and make you feel welcome. The hot food served is delicious! Can't wait to try more, will definitely be back.

First time visiting Farm Gate will not be the last.
Last night we made bone soup fantastic for a starter for tonight.
Tonight we had beef ribs, I never have had beef melt in mouth before what a sensation.
My wife is a fantastic cook and her cooking just kicked up a notch.

Very impressed with this place. The owner Shawn is very personable, hard working and knowledgeable. Fantastic meats, very tasty baked goods. This is my new go to butchers.

Everything is excellent. The chicken and steak are fantastic and I really, really love all of the pot pies. The crust on the pot pie is outstanding!

I do enjoy the food here, but I put in a special order to have a meal prepared for my daughter’s birthday, and when I arrived nothing was prepared. The employees had no clue to expect me. They called the owner and tried to piece together my order with cold food in the fridge that’s available for anyone to grab to purchase, but I was expecting to receive hot and prepared food to serve my guests. I also confirmed this 2 days prior and tried to call numerous time prior to driving there to avoid wasting my time after 2 other companies also dropped the ball on me the same day.

I bought a lasagna and chicken enchiladas and I and my family found both dishes awful. The lasagna smelled like rotten beef and just all around horrible tasting. My husband eats everything and definitely couldn't eat either dish.was not very happy. The prices were ridiculous for the size and the taste moreless topped it off.will not buy from there again

Love this place. Grass fed beef. I am still thinking of the positive experience chatting with the owner. He is super positive and fun. I will return!

Their meat is top notch! They are very helpful with which cut to buy and how much also. Their premade meals are delicious.the butter chicken melts in your mouth! Fresh breads and local veggies make this a wonderful place to shop. A terrific butcher shop

We made our first stop here this morning after I made a facebook post looking for recommendations for a Steak.not just any steak, but a STEAK.the owner Shawn had commented on my post with some pretty important information and he was quite knowledgeable!

we popped by this morning to pick it out and the meat case was beautifully stocked with various kinds of meats.the lady behind the counter was so kind and told us the story of their business and what they had to offer.we chose a gorgeous ribeye with beautiful marbling and we picked up some other goodies as well! This place was already pretty busy considering they had just opened about 15 minutes prior to us going in.every person there was incredibly kind and helpful and we left with a a bag full of fresh local food.we will ABSOLUTELY be returning and I cant wait to see what their barbeques are like!

Our family shops here regularly; we are always thrilled with the new arrivals to the shop and keep coming back for our favs. Incredible quality food, very friendly staff, and overall an excellent place to find locally-grown and made food. Highly recommend; if you get a chance, definitely stop by! (Even if just for a taste of the mouthwatering lunch special)

Only place I shop for my meats. They have only top quality organic selections sourced from local farmers. The taste is out of this world. Also the owners are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you make this your number 1 stop for all your quality meats.

Oh my God I can't believe I found my little piece of heaven of quality meats and products period from the moment I walked into this place until I left everything was sheer perfection the way that it should be from the conversation with the staff the owner presentation of the food recommendations quality. Quality I had to say it twice of the food is exactly what it should be natural naturally sourced processed. I can't see anything better it's just it's my new heaven

Your Farm Gate catered my wedding and it is the best decision I could have made. Shawn was helpful, accommodating and honest when putting together my menu. He asked me what I wanted and gave recommendations based on what is seasonal and fresh. The meat was cooked to perfection and my grandmother asked for the recipe for his beet salad. Our late night snack was some of the best pizza I have ever had. I love that Shawn uses locally farmed meats and grows most of his own produce. All of my foodie guests gushed over how nice it was to have something they could actually enjoy at a wedding. We loved the meat so much, we drove an hour and a half to get more from Shawn's shop a week later. Hire Shawn and have your guests ask for seconds or thirds.

What an amazing local butcher. Shawn is very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The store front is gorgeous and the product is amazing. More than happy to support local for such a great business and owner. We will be regulars going forward!

Shawn has catered three events for us. They have all been spectacular. I first discovered Your Farm Gate accidently when they were located in St Catharines. What a find. Not only is the food unique, creative, and fresh, but also Shawn and Shelley are two of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet. Their beef brisket, mojo sauce and their roasted vegetables are some of my favorite foods on this planet. Their food philosophy from Farm to Table is brilliant. I cannot recommend this wonderful company to you enough.
