Wouldn't work here again. I was over worked and under paid. Before quitting I had addressed issues about not receiving a days pay when I worked that day along with the possibilities of losing more money I didnt see taken. Took over a couple weeks of complaining to Denis and Dave, before my car broke down, when that happen, I was threatened with actions of lawyer involvement if I didn't return work related items because I was in the process of fixing my car and couldn't work because of it. I wasnt told I was fired or me saying 'I quit' when I was being harassed about returning items or being forced to work because I was told to do so. The day I quit resulted in receiving what was owed to me and the mental struggles of handling what was in my way. In short dont work here they dont give benefits yet its offered and they will degrade you if your one of the hardest workers, and they will rob you of your paychecks in hope you will never find out!

The Owner helped out a friend and i with a move short notice. He was very professional, kind, and I would use Your Friend With A Cube Van again for future moves. I would highly recommend Your Friend With A Cube Van to others

YFCV was a please to use. Denis was extremely professional/responsive to my inquiries and the team did a great job on the day of the move. They worked very quickly (despite being paid by the hour) and took great care with my possessions. I would highly recommend.

I’ve used YVCV’s services twice over 2 years and both times I’ve been amazed by the professional and friendly nature of the crew! They don’t balk at any challenges and make quick work of any move! I’ve always appreciate how they waste absolutely no time at all and even managed to get to the new location faster than we could drive over! They even put together some of the furniture for free without us asking. Pro tip: A clear and descriptive inventory list goes a long way in streamlining the move. Also, be kind, tip well, and order pizza if they’re working though lunch.

Friendly, easy and straightforward process to provide the information to them but took more time / was more expensive than I expected.

Dave and Autumn were great with getting the information and then following up the day before to confirm however the actual move did take longer than I expected. Full disclosure this is my first time using movers so maybe I underestimated how long it would take but I only had a 560 sqft condo, no appliances to move, and my partner and I moved half the boxes and the storage lockers on our own so it was just furniture and 40 boxes. I was surprised this took 4 hours and that was with me asking them to unload a bit quicker at the end because there was less than an hour on the moving elevator time slot at the new address. The movers were really friendly however when my mom went for smoke breaks on the balcony she noticed they would take calls when they were at the van. Since it took 4 hours, it ended up being more expensive than other companies ($760) so I think next time I would go with a company that does a set price rather than hourly but if I needed to move just a couple peices of furniture then I would probably go with these guys again.

Denis and Riley recently helped me with the moving of a bedframe and mattress. This was actually my second time using YFCV, and everything went great (just as it did the first time). I will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks so much guys-keep being awesome!

Hi Guys, you guys helped me move last year August. I found this at my place. I know it's been long but let me know how can I give this back.

Excellent, fair value for attentiveness and quality of work provided. My first booking with them happened to be on a horrendous snow storm day. So the owner himself called me at least half an hour before they were due to arrive at my place just start moving, and we rescheduled for the next day with no issue. The cheapest option I chose included one man and one truck with no real labour provided at all. But upon arriving at the storage locker in which I was gathering my things to move home, when they saw that I was all alone to load up the truck, they immediately offered to lend a hand. As any industry goes, very professional all around, but especially for the moving industry that is plagued with unscrupulous operators and scam artists.

Dave, Victor and Osi moved us from our apartment in Etobicoke to a townhouse in Kitchener. They were all very professional and worked quickly knowing we were paying by the hour. I'd recommend them for any move, short or long!

I'm very glad I signed up with Your Friend with a Cube Van. From start to finish, the whole experience was pleasant and smooth. Dave and Denis were very very helpful from helping move stuff into and from the van to giving tips on how to deal with things that came up while loading boxes. This is my first time using a moving service and a consequence have had my worries but all of that seemed so unnecessary in hindsight given how everything just fell into place and that I believe to be a direct consequence of signing up with Your Friend with a Cube Van. Did my move with Dave, and his team including Victor from a downtown condo to a downtown stacked townhouse. Dave arrived early to make sure the logistics are well prepared. I was worried about the stairs in the stacked townhome but their positive can-do attitude really eased my nervousness. Victor wrapped my furniture carefully and handled everything with care. Thank you for making my move seamless, and quick. The team arrived early and quickly went to work loading the truck making sure that all items where packed securely. When they arrived at my new home everything was moved in quickly ensuring that everything was were I wanted it to be. I've used other movers in the past for business moves but have never used a mover for a personal move and I can't say enough about Your Friend with a Cube Van. Denis was a pleasure to deal with! Our movers were Dave, Caleb, Victor and Kai. Everyone went above and beyond to make us comfortable and relaxed during the whole process. We had a 6 week old baby at the time of the move and they were most considerate and respectful. Their rental boxes are an absolute must. Can’t recommend enough. Would use again!

I'd highly recommend this team of movers. We were able to schedule a complicated move (including an upright piano) with only about 48 hours' notice. Staff were punctual, friendly and professional throughout the whole experience. Thanks to everyone at YFCV!
