George tries to understand emotions, and use them correctly. As someone well versed in the old ways of teaching art/music (aka.yelling and beating your student until they are good), George not only addressed this, but empathized with his own experiences, then overwrote my decade of trauma with a very positive experience.

My son and I took "last minute" dancing classes a few weeks prior to his wedding. George is far more than a great choreographer in creating your unique dance, and far more than a dance teacher, he is perceptive of fears and negative inner dialog one faces and knows how to lead you to overcome them.
Despite my below-elementary level in dancing and fear of intimidation, the few classes my son & I took with George gifted me with the unforgettable experience of owning the stage when dancing with my son.

George is the rarest gem there is! He is incredible at what he does, and does it all with finesse, empathy, humour and sass.

Two months leading up to our wedding, I knew we were in serious trouble. Partly because my then-fiance and I didn't know a thing about dancing together, but mostly because I couldn't imagine him sticking through a single dance lesson. That was of course before we meet George.

George's unparalleled ability to relate to others, dissect the root cause of an issue and put his full weight behind overcoming them makes him the most amazing dance instructor. He's also highly accomodating and managed to work with our unforgiving schedules. We ended up taking 11 lessons and started looking forward to our 45 mins with George every Tuesday evening.

In the end, we had a dance routine we loved and are proud of. We executed our First Dance flawlessly with George's voice at the back of our minds guiding us every step of the way.

George made our wedding dance dreams COME TRUE! My husband and I were complete beginners when it came to dancing, and were so nervous about performing a choreographed dance for our first dance! However, all those worries disappeared as soon as we met George! He is so incredibly patient, kind, and creative - he listened to our songs and drafted an AMAZING dance routine. He even helped us bridge two songs together - a slow waltz and an electrifying tango & cha cha! All our guests were blown away with our dance and could not stop commenting on how incredible it was! We are still continuing our dance lessons with George - he made us fall in love with dance!

I and my husband had an amazing experience with George and his dance sessions. He not only teaches you the steps of dance but also the meaning of your dance, the emotions that you express with it and how to be synchronized with your partner. We are so happy that we went for these dance classes before our wedding and now that the wedding is over, we want to go for more dance classes because we love the experience. My fiancé and I wanted to learn a choreographed dance for our first dance at our wedding. Neither of us has had any prior training and I had the firm belief that I was born with 2 left feet. On top of that we had busy schedules, and were under a time crunch. We were looking for someone who is professional, understanding, and flexible.
George delivered on everything we were looking for, and more. He was professional, patient and there was never any judgement in his voice (even though we moved like stick figures at first). He tailored the choreography to our comfort level and worked with us tirelessly. His lessons never felt like a chore, in fact we looked forward to every single one. He is able to make learning fun and stress-free. Above all, he is a kind and wonderful human being. We could not be happier with his service.
As for the finished product, it was everything we dreamed it would be. Dancing is as much about confidence as it is about knowing the steps and George gives you both.

My wife and I took several lessons provided by George prior to our wedding. We approached him only a few months prior to our wedding date, yet he came up with a structured and easy to follow plan which allowed us to both acquire the skills to perform our ideal dance and to also introduce us to dance in general. My wife was quite shy with the prospect of dancing and was nervous in many lessons. Regardless, George was an excellent teacher and knew exactly what to say to ensure she was comfortable in the studio. He was knowledgeable and experienced, and he made the experience all the better with his relaxed, charmed, and electric demeanour. I did not consider us "needing" a choreographed wedding dance, but after our experience with George, I can simply recommend his services purely for the emotional development my wife and I shared through his lessons. Highly recommended!
