Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club Toronto

Went on a Saturday night, it was a packed house. Got there early and got some good seats. Very funny lineup, lots of laughs, strong drinks! Pretty good for a cheap night out in Toronto.

Toronto's best stand-up spot. Great shows always. My fifth time there in 3 months. Great food, try their honey garlic chicken sandwich with their fries.it's the best. And the beer bucket is always a great option. Hilarious comics and great staff.

We were at Yuk Yuk’s Toronto on Friday, August 5. What a great show! The place was packed! We opted for a booth and even had dinner there. The service was really good and the manager, Jessica, is always there checking to make sure everything is ok.

We noticed the nice changes she has made since she became the manager. The musty smell from the club is gone and the music seems to have gotten better. We always enjoy the Comedians!
We have been coming to this location for years! We will keep coming! Kudos to the staff and management!

Love this club! The staff are amazing, great atmosphere & I always have a good time. Try to come as often as possible. Great line-up of comics as well! Come here if you want a good laugh with the gang.

This place is pathetic! The last time I will ever be visiting and making sure to let my friends and family members know don't bother with this "comedy" club.

Fantastic comedy venue. Really great Plenty of seating with booths available as well. The wait staff is outstanding as well, very attentive and friendly. Do yourself a favor and see a show there! Thank you.

Don't expect super speedy drink service, but also remember you're at a dark and crowded comedy club. Comics were great, MC was funny. Would definitely recommend and go again. If you're sensitive, and will get offended by hearing someone make fun of the many of the hot button topics these days, maybe not the place for.

Lots of laughs, every last Sunday of every month is where it at! Server are very busy so food takes a while but the comedians keep you busy to notice. It's a little crowed everyone is elbow to elbow

The comedians and service are awesome. A great way to spend your evening if you are on downtown. I just wish the seating were a little more comfortable. It gets too congested and you end up bumping into the party next to you. But other than that this is a great stand-up comedy club!

Great community and place for comedy, waiters are nice. A little tight for seating but it works.

Been here many times, and it's always been a great show. Was there last night however, and they had a ONE waitress for the entire place, and it was packed. She did a great job but felt so bad for her. Whoever runs this place, how about you get the wait staff some help!

Went there last Saturday night for a show. They pack us in tight, like in a jar of pickles. Rows of chairs touching, packed house 2 or 3 hundred people at least. Tiny 12 inch x 12 inch tables in front to divide the rows. I never experienced something so tightly packed. Worse than a full movie theater. Now I have a sore throat and a fever.

Saw the hokus hokus show mixing magic and jokes. It was incredible! One of a kind experience, innovative and simply great! I strongly recommend! Will go again!

Great show, terrible service.
We went there to celebrate a birthday. Everyone got their snacks, besides the birthday person, even after asking about it 3 times, throughout the course of the whole 2-hour show. It was absurd that after this they also brought a single bill to the birthday person, who had reserved the table, and said they could arrange a division amongst the party afterwards.

This was my first experience at Yuk Yuk’s and it was extra special because it was the first comedy show for audience and comedians alike after all the covid closures. Awesome line up of comedians and good service. I sat in the front row (but luckily was not a part of any of the comedians jokes!) if you’re looking for some awesome laughs and a truly amazing experience, be sure to visit Yuk Yuk’s! Try their martinis they are strong!:)

5/5 for comedy acts, 3/5 for service. I still love this place just make sure to go on a full stomach and you’ll have an amazing time!

Always a fun night. Just the setting of a classic comedy club alone is something to experience here. I went with some friends on amateur night for only $5 for a couple hrs of non stop fun.

Drove from aurora to see the headiner Dave Hemstad. Got there well before the starting time and waited in line. I started to feel uneasy when we were in line PAST 9PM (the starting time of the show) once the starting music started I knew we were in trouble. A gentleman announced that they have "oversold and were over capacity". He went on to say everyone who paid for a ticket at the door can ask for a refund but the people who paid online would have to deal another method. Apparently buying tickets online doesn't save you as seat the situation is still first come first serve. While we were leaving the other people in line mentioned this happens quite often at this location. So I drove downtown spent 20 dollars on parking just so I could be rejected from the establishment I paid to get into and then go back home. Friday night completely ruined.

Granted. We ordered tickets online and did read the check out notes to arrive about 45 mins to an hour early, so we arrived about 45 minutes before the show. It was already half full and piling in fast. We were asked if we were there for an occasion, which was my girlfriend's birthday. They put us right up on the front row. It was a little tight, and in the start thought uh oh. But it turned out to just enhance the experience. All the people around us were all talking and having a great time all just meeting each other for the first time. We got lucky with the acts. The host was a riot. 1 of the openers had me in tears. And the headliner kept you laughing the whole time. All kept the crowd involved.
I do agree with some others, they may have to look at serving. Being tight and packed, they had a tough time getting to everyone and bringing drinks in a timely fashion and cashing out and bad times. Bring cash, get 2 drinks and pay out each time you order if you want things a bit smoother.
All in all. One of the best outings we've had in a while.

Amazing entertainment but I'd love to see more women and minority comedians. Why so many white dudes? Also I suggest working with second city and having a show with new talent? But overall great experience

The 26th of December so called comedy show at the YukYuk Toronto venue was in a basement. Little did I expect this post Christmas show to be in the gutter. Toronto can do better than this spectacle of detritus. Any street in Toronto could do better. People in the audience paid good money to witness a diatribe of largerly embarrassing and unfunny vulgarity and crudity devoid of any intellectuallity. Yuk Yuk, yuk.

They're understaffed during shows and thus the service is incredibly slow. We waited 45 minutes to even get acknowledged. The poor servers are trying very hard to be as speedy as possible but they just can't get to everyone when there are so few of them. That being said, the show itself (the host, openers and the headliner) were all great.

Top notch headliner and host. Very impressed by the opening acts. Had a great time and food good as well. They could make more on drinks if they had a bar. Or more staff to serve tables.

Last Sunday of every month is Nubian comedy night. It is awesome and it has been going on for 20 years. Oddly, less than half the full room of audience was black. Toronto.

Saw Eman Husseini, by the way, hilarious! I would love to see her again! And living in NYC, girl I feel for ya!
As much as I love comedy clubs, the service was poor and by faaaaaarrr under populated for a show. There were maybe twelve people. When I ordered my one and only beer I got during the whole two hour show, she was not very friendly. She snatched my card from my hands, which I’m not very appreciative of either. I get she was older but being grouchy maybe not the venue to work in either. However, I watched the waitress serve people second and third times. Also, maybe get around the room a bit, don’t neglect one side.

Here to celebrate a friend's birthday, line up was great! So was the service! Thanks for a good time!

Love this place. Always go for the Nubian Show. All the comics are hilarious. And the prices are amazing. Went there in February and couldn't stop laughing almost got a six pack from laughing so hard. If you love laughing and you're light hearted you should goo.

Funny comics, great host, fair price. Unfortunately the service was lacking, as only one server was working the entire floor.

Always a lot of fun and they make sure to have a variety of comics. Setup is great in that you can choose to sit right in front or hang back. Last time I went service was excruciatingly slow (couldn't even get a second drink) but usually they are fast and friendly. Show up early for better seats and for a table make sure to order something to support the house. Tickets are cheap and easily purchased online. They keep a list at the door so no need to even print the tickets.

Usually a great time. You're not going for the food.
Comics can be hit or miss; however, you'll usually love majority of them!

Waitress was never around and when she did she was very rude. We flagged a bus boy down for help and he told us to call our server. I will never come here again.

Great spot for Date Night, Girls Night, Guys Night and everything in between. Great Atmosphere, and great service make for a great outing.

They seriously need to upgrade the seating, I was stuck in a seat next to big guy that spilled over on my seat. Nothing against the dude because looked very uncomfortable and embarrassed and kept apologizing. Hard to laugh out loud when you don't have much room to.

Went here for amateur night on Tuesday. Great way to spend some time and get a few laughs while having a drink.

Cool dingey basement comedy club in a great location. You can't go won't for a cheap night out. Good and drink prices are very reasonably priced.

I had the worst experience at this place last night.
The comedy content was good (very funny) but the service at this place was really bad!

We arrived at the show last night with a gift certificate (admission for two).

At the main door, there is a sign that stated, folks with tickets purchased through web can walk straight in. Once inside and being in line for 10 mins, we were told to go back up to box office to process our tickets as they can’t accept gift certificate. So we did! We were one of the first ones in but now we were late because we had to go to box office, get tickets, and then get back in inline for 10 min wait for our turn.

The next experience I had was even worse. We were walked to our seats, which were without tables (it seemed like it was a new row created in between regular tables) when the waitress asked about what we wanted to order, I asked for a table because I simply can not order drinks & food and hold/eat it from my lap.
We were told that it’s first come first serve and that she can’t help me (even thou I saw tables at the back of the club that were still empty) and if the establishment acknowledged that we were actually one of the first ones to walk in (web order bs) then they should have kept a table for us.

I decided not to give this club my business anymore. It was my second time there. The first time was amazing, but they really made my Friday night go bad, especially when I came out of the town to enjoy the show.
The employees need more training and the signage at the door should reflect their updated policies. They should also ask guests if they will be eating so they can be given a table instead of a just a chair. Many tables had people not eating or drinking at all, and you just lost out on a sale.

Great show and comedians. It was so absurdly hot inside though and it doesn't seem like there's much organization with the wait staff.

Loved it! Great show! The MC was just as good as the comics. Basic food selection so if you are looking for a great meal and a show I wouldn't recommend, but that's not what the place is really about. The staff was amazing a friendly! Will absolutely go back.

Always a great show and is guaranteed to make you laugh. Sweet potato fries are awesome as well. Only recommendation to others is to arrive early to get good seats. Often times a lot of the rows are taken by reservations, however if you arrive too early they do not let you in.

Its ok kinda dungie inside. Still had a good time, bottled beer is safe! Dont get coffee whatever u do.

Best way to spend a Tuesday night in Toronto. Amateur/open mic. Night, only $5 admission. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Loved it! We went there with our 2 teens who had the best evening ever. The students' improvisations and routines were great. They interacted with the audience and a lot with our kids who were over the moon! Nothing that they didn't hear at school, and at least it was very funny! Go yuck yourself!

Yuk Yuk's is a great place to watch both amateur and seasoned comedians take the stage. They have a warm, welcoming environment, reasonably priced drinks and good food. I'd certainly recommend this comedy club to friends, locals, tourists, and everyone in between!

It was our first time going, (my husband, my son, and myself). They were doing a roast show *your hoods a joke*, we thought it was great all around. Had a lot of laughs, and great service, very friendly.

There is no issue with the service, food, or beverage. However, the comedian selection is poor. Same stupid jokes every time. No real caliber performers. Save your money and go to a comedy festival or the likes.

I loved the place, value for money and comedians were awesome. And crowd was good as well. I liked the set up and food was for reasonable price. Must go.

I love a great comedy show and Yuk Yuks delivered! The host was hilarious and all of the performers had great jokes. Very engaging with the crowd and well planned so that there was no wait in between performers. The club is small so the show has a very intimate feel. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable and there isn’t a lot of leg room but the jokes keep you distracted from it. I will definitely be back!

Had a great time here! Comedy is very personal but I loved the headliner that performed. Right in the heart of the city, nearby food and transit. Tickets were super affordable. Not the nicest interior but for the ticket price totally worth it. Great for a date or night out. Will definitely come back.

Enjoyed it, it was the very first time at this club but we knew it had a great reputation; this night was a bit of a challenge to get around downtown Toronto and finding close by parking, otherwise the show was great!

The show was great! The doorman was very unprofessional in how he answered to us. I had a group of visitors from England and had emailed earlier to ask if we could sit in the front row. Francesca emailed back to let us know that they had received our request. We were the first group to arrive and when I gave him my name, I had told him that I had purchased the tickets online and had emailed to request the front seats, he bluntly said that "he never sits groups of more than 4 up front". I found that to be very rude. Is that what he says to every large group. No customer service skills.

We have been sitting here for half an hour with no service. I have flagged our server down multiple times which she has ignored, and when I approached her to say I have been flagging her down and she said "That is nice" and promptly walked away from me. Completely unacceptable. I would recommend going to a different comedy club.
