I have been eating here for over 3 yrs.today was a huge disappointment! 1) they didn't fill an item on my order. As for the noodle soup I got, I got the same usually, spicy coconut curry rice noodle soup. There was absolutely no FLAVOR in the soup. The kitchen staff is trying to save money and didn't put any coconut milk or curry into the soup. If you are going to eat here, I highly recommend you order the spicy noodle soup if you want any flavor than rice noodles in WATER! You are better cooking at home and save money and the disappointment.
The soup is delicious, no MSG, unlimited rice noodles refill, Lucy and Rebecca are Very helpful and provide excellent services, strongly recommend this Restaurant, will come back again.
This was my first time here and Lucy was so helpful and pleasant taking her time to explain the menu to me. I had the braised beef with noodles and wow what a great dish. I would definitely come back when i am in the area. I live in Mississauga and came to see a friend and saw this place. Thank you again Lucy. Daniel
Pretty nice place for rice noodles and braised chicken. Service people are very attentive and it’s pretty good for the price. Lucy was the one who was helping us out and she was really accommodating in terms of our requests.
I got the spicy noodle, it’s very spicy, so maybe ask for less spicy if you don’t eat too spicy. I generally do eat spicy but find it very spicy. All in all very interesting and flavourful. Staff service was great. Will try the hand made noodle next time.
Really great food and service! The ladies were very nice and diligent with their cleaning and refilling of tea or condiments.
We got the braised beef pulled noodles and the spicy and sour rice noodle soup. I don't eat beef so they switched the meat for me (I asked for pork, but they could've switched to lamb as well). Both dishes were really good and came out piping hot! The noodles in the braised beef dish were chewy and the flavour of the meat was excellent. The rice noodles in the soup dish were the thicker rice noodles and they were also pleasantly chewy. The soup had a good amount of spiciness and the sour part really stood out (it's supposed to so it was really good and authentic).
The place is small but cute. They have a great system for both take out and dine in. It also has a nice, calm and quiet atmosphere (at least when we came anyway).
The cold noodles here are super tasty for the summer in addition to their traditional noodle soup. We also love getting their appetizers - the shredded potato salad is a must. Follow me for more food adventures on Instagram at @maggielicious.to
Ordered the original and didnt disappoint. Forst time here and enjoyed the flavors. Really hot broth even after putting the noodles and the ingredients given! Careful! Recommend.
I ordered every once in a while through UberEats during the lockdown. The quality of the food is always excellent. The portion is very generous too. Highly recommend.
As a 3 years VIP at this location, I have always enjoyed the soul vegi fish rice noodles'. However, the reason why I give 3 stars is that there is inconsistency as to how much noodles they put for takeout, if you are luck you get more rice noodles home, and if you are not lucky you get more broth and fish/meat than the rice noodles and that can be a problem, because the tastes are rather strong and the lack of rice noodles make it hard to neutralize the strong taste.
I come here often because it opens late and there is a late opening T&T supermarket nearby. I like the noodle soupbecause it doesn't make me thirsty like soups with lots of MSG.

Yunshang is the best rice noodle place! Delicious food and super friendly service. It’s the perfect place to eat with friends or family. The soup base is delicious and it is real bone soup (not powdered) because you don’t get thirsty after eating here. Not to mention, how can you say no to free unlimited rice noodle refills? I’m in love with the variety of cold dish and snack options available here. After all, how can you not order a few sides with your noodle soup. Highly recommend this place! I honestly visit this location at least once a week!
The coconut curry broth was great. The broth was light and warming, perfect for a winter day. It's amazing value with the unlimited bowls of noodles. Sometimes there is a lineup and there isn't much space to wait.
Have been here twice now and I can honestly say I am very satisfied with their level of service and the overall experience. Food tastes great and you can have as much noodles as you wish. Service is quick and available even when all the tables are occupied. That coupled with the reasonable prices makes this restaurant, in my opinion, a great place to try out!
Last time I went here to eat, I gave the waiter a tip, but she didn't accept it because she thought it was too little. She didn't accept it until another waiter came to take it away. I think it's rude. Why refuse a tip?You need to temper the attitude of your waiters. My friend and I were very angry. If you want to go to this restaurant next time, pay attention and bring enough tips, otherwise the waiter will refuse to accept them until they get a satisfactory tip!
Best rice noodle in Toronto! And very reasonably priced. Especially good to eat on cold winter days. Delicious broth. My wife and I travel a long way just to enjoy their food, but it's worth the trip!
I wanted to come visit Yunshang as the weather was getting cold and I was craving for something hot and soupy. We came on Sat around 6pm and the restaurant was quite full but luckily we were able to squeeze into a booth for 2.
Their menu basically consists of options you check off yourself (the soup, if you want to add extra meat), appetizers etc. Each soup bowl actually comes with a tray of appetizers and meat to put into the bubbling pot of soup, so It’s not necessary to order the extra meat. The bowls were very big, and the broth tasted great; full of flavour. Plus you can get unlimited bowls of noodles.
However, my complaint was not the food but ive service. Firstly, there were 2 of us and we circled one soup but with 2 different add ons as we both wanted the same one. The server didn’t even ask us to confirm was it was 1 or 2 orders and assumed it was one. And when we had to correct the servers, it was so hard to communicate because none of them spoke adequate English. I know this is a Chinese restaurant but they should still have workers who speak sufficient English to help Customers (like ourselves) who don’t speak mandarin.
My 2nd complaint was that we felt really rushed. I understand it was getting busy with lineups, however as paying customers, we should still be able to enjoy our food and time at the restaurant. All they kept doing was immediately rushing taking our plates without asking if we still needed it, and kept pushing for the bill.
The food was great, but service definitely needs to be worked on. I’ll probably try another location to give them another chance next time.
Consistently good and service is great.the store is relatively small, so there will definitely be a line up during meal times.but that's expected in most good restaurants
I thought it was okay. I enjoyed the concept, kind of like hot pot, and I felt like the portions were decent compared to other places for their price. I just don't think I was wowed. If you like noodle soup I'm sure you'll like it here. Also, get the popcorn chicken. That dish is amazing.
All you can ask for noodles in a hot couldron of soup. What more can I ask for! I definitely recommend the curry coconut soup base with popcorn chicken on the side to snack on. It's a great deal and good flavours there.
Great noodles, soft and not too chewy. Good soup, just slightly too salty for my taste. I didn't like some of the toppings, but that's personal preference and will vary according to your tastes.
The service is fast. You sit down and order. Within minutes, the server comes out with ingredients. Your soup follows within minutes after that. Noodle refills came in a timely manner. You'll definitely be leaving this place full.
Good place with having rice noodle in hot soup. Many flavors. Also there are various kinds of snacks. Recommend fried crispy and salty chicken ball and spicy beef.
Convenient location, friendly and fast servers, small, but cozy and clean dining area. Price and food are decent. Ordered the original pork bone noodle soup, served with boiling earth pot, that came with separate small dishes and rice noodle. You can choose what you like to put in the boiling soup pot, quite unique! Will definitely go back!
