z-teca Mexican Eatery

This is the best Mexican fast food in my opinion. The portions are great and everything always tastes fresh. Stop by and you will never want to go back to other mainstream Mexican fast food restaurants.

David was unreal and beyond helpful. I'm a regular customer and the food has always been exceptional and the service somehow even better. Love ZTECCA and will continue to come back!

Z-Teca has become my go to place for lunch or dinner. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is always friendly.

Really good food! Quick and friendly service. Haven't had fast food mexican and properly liked it but this was fantastic!

Just left and I realize they close in 20 min but the person who made my bowl started throwing utensils out of obvious anger that they close in 20 min.
I get to my car and my bowl is ice cold…I can’t reheat it because I have guac and everything else on it. Worst experience ever and I love the food here!

I had ordered couple of times from Z-teca while I was in Waterloo and lunch has always fresh and delicious. It's in uptown at a vivacious location. Vegetarian options are really good.

I had the salad bowl with BBQ pork.it was excellent!
I really enjoyed the addition of the almonds on top

I always go here, tonight I got the Beef Barbocca, it was cold, little rice, barley any pico or hot sauce, very disappointed.

The food was amazing. The staff were so welcoming and so helpful especially for someone who is really indecisive. I would 100% come back

Amazing place. Mostly because of the staff behind the counter. They always have a smile on their face, and are eager to help you out if you are new with Mexican food. The food itself is very reasonably priced and tasty. Just 2 dollars for a bag of chips. Tacos are very reasonably priced as well. Thank you for keeping #halal options on the menu. I had a great experience. Looking forward to visiting you guys again.

Ordered the Bowl catering for my fiancée’s birthday and the food and service was great and on time. Great communication and would definitely order again

Was thinking if 3 stars for food but employee was so clever and charged me extra beans and corns which was in small serving. When i asked extra ground veggie she told me its extra if i wanted to proceed. But without consent she said its normal but bill sas extra $3.
Also, food was so tasteless Veggie Crumble bowl. I have been to 50-60 different mexican restaurants and know what to expect. Not fan and wont go back

Are you sure you close at 9: 00 thurs - sat?
Or if business is slow you sometimes close early?

Came in today and had a BBQ pork burrito was really delicious. Would like to try the crispychicken if it comes back.

This place have a fantastic and authentic mexican food, which i very enjoy coming in this location.but the guy who took my order, he was very rude and so much attitude! As a regular customer i might have to think twice coming to this place again.

Just had z-teca for like the 10.000th time… i love coming to this restaurant, i seen this one worker named Aaron he is always asking me what would be a good recommendation to try and see him always working really hard and when i would eat inside he would come by the table and ask how everything is with my order he truly cares about customers… will definitely come back

Friendly staff and amazing food at this location! Definitely one of the best Mexican eateries in Barrie!

The food, quality, taste and whole experience was exceptional. We were all so blown away by the freshness of everything we ordered. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be ordering again!

Chips were terrible twice now. First time they tasted musty and old, this time they were stale and tasted like old cardboard.worst chips ever. Dip was okay.

I go here at least once a week sometimes twice…I was never a fan of comparable food options in the area but I have fell in LOVE with Z-Teca. The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable about the items they carry and are super friendly. The food is amazing, portion size fabulous and taste is out of this world. Will definitely keep going back:)

This place is truly amazing! I had a large catering order for my outdoor event and the entire process from start to finish was so seamless - especially the delivery, they arrived at my event and set it all up for us and provided everything we possibly needed. The portions were fantastic and I can't even count the amount of guests that asked me where we ordered from because the food was so delicious! I'm honestly so happy I chose Z-teca to cater my event and would recommend it to anyone in search of a good and reliable restaurant to cater their party!
