I wouldn’t go out of my way to post a review of this nature but I felt compelled to share my experience with the general public about my case. I retained Maria Norka as my lawyer in 2020 to deal with a property and divisions of assets case. She completely mishandled my case, to a point where I decided it was safer for me to self-represent. I was able to solve all my legal problems on my own—But I felt terribly betrayed and offended learning Ms. Norka was involved in unprofessional dealings with the opposing party. This is beyond disgusting behaviour. I filed a formal complaint with the Law Society of Ontario. Ms. Norka took my money and didn’t do any of the tasks she promised to perform resulting in huge loses for me and my family. Her incompetence is appalling and upright illegal. There are many capable lawyers in the GTA. If you are seeking a good competent lawyer please stay as far away from Ms. Maria Norka as possible. Integrity is not something this woman has. She carries her practice unethically, unlawfully and her results are demoralizing.

If you are an immigrant seeking permanent residency in Canada, Zagazeta Garcia LLP is the best choice! The advice is excellent, I felt very confident from start to finish. Very professional and patient with everything you need.

Very unprofessional wastage of time & money. She wasted my 15 months & money. There were more cheaper & better options available i chose them was my mistake. They wasted my thousands of $ & precious time. She just want money no guidance nothing. Its about 4 months still waiting for her cutesy call. Think thousand times if you are going for immigration matters hundred percent you are wasting your time & money.

I understand they are limited on what they can say during the free consultation which is okay, I have asked only 3 general questions. But you do not have to limit it to yes/no answers, a little more detail info on general information wont harm you. But the attitude was the worst, Lady your customers are not second class people. Absolutely not hiring these people. If this is how they initially treat their potentially clients - no doubts this firm is a skip for me

Maria and Erika were very professional and thorough in drafting my documentation for change my employment based Visa into a marriage based Visa. They helped me through all steps of the process and we met through video conference to ensure we were aligned on next steps. We had some questions with respect to Atlantic Immigration Program and I spoke with Aakash (one of the consultant) over the phone. I can not stress enough how transparent and efficient he was to answer my questions.
Unlike other law firm where it is all about your money that they aim for and make every effort to get you in the office to charge you, he was extremely professional and patient and never rushed me off the phone when we had several questions to ask in more than 1/2 hour.
