I lived in a Zahra property for the past 1.5 years and did not have a great experience living there. They were very slow to act when maintenance issues arose. For example, I made numerous requests for garbage to be removed from the shared laundry room, which is still outstanding and quite frankly is creating a dangerous place to do laundry. When we first moved in the basement apartment was being renovated. It took over 4 months to complete and during that time we were exposed to excessive dust from our vents, noise and strange people entering our triplex at all hours. It was a nightmare. We asked for a rent abatement, that was denied. We were the only people to put out the garbage every week and did other things for the building to assist when asked to by Zahra properties. Overall this was not a great experience and I would not recommend living in one of their properties.

Zahra Properties offers rental units in both 1410 and 1420 Fuse Condos, and you can find these listings on their website, categorized by unit numbers. If you're thinking of moving into either 1410 or 1420 Fuse Condos, it's absolutely crucial to thoroughly research and check if the apartments adjacent to your intended one are not being used for 'short-term rentals. ' This is incredibly important because these short-term renters are treating the place more like a hotel than a residential building, resulting in frustratingly loud noises and disruptions. Regrettably, this is the situation I'm currently contending with, as there are multiple units on my floor and the floor above mine that are being utilized for short-term rentals. There is a complete lack of proper sound insulation between units at Fuse Condos, and I find myself dealing with the disturbance until as late as 1: 45 am in the morning. What's even more exasperating is the lack of any resolution or action from the management. Zahra Properties prioritizes financial gain over addressing any concerns that may affect your personal satisfaction with your unit.

I had a great experience dealing with Zahra Properties, they have a fantastic team that are always available to answer questions or interrogation in the renting process.

A personal yet professional company. We are pleased we chose their property to call home! They are responsive and attentive if/when issues arise! Thanks especially to the admin staff who check in with you every step of the way.

Avoid them, at all cost.

The most unprofessional property “management” group I’ve come across. Sure, the prices are decent for monthly rent but you pay the cost mentally in having to deal with their poor maintenance support and excuses as to why they conduct themselves in the manner they do.

Upon several disputes, they neglect taking any responsibility for lack of action leaving you with the only option to “agree to disagree” as you and your family are left with no washer/drying, no hot water and no AC periodically over the term of your tenancy. They purchase budget appliances for their units and apply short term fixes for long term problems.

They treat any third party contractor as lesser than, including not adhering to professional advice around the standard health and safety of the rental unit and those occupants within. Not to mention their lack of paying invoices to said third party contractors in a timely manner. Over the last two years my family has been living in one of the Zahra owned properties, any technician that has been called had nothing but negative reviews towards Zahra.

My family and I are looking forward to closing this chapter out at the end of the month.

For what it’s worth, Nash is great but If I could give zero stars to the rest of them, I would.

Zahra has a great range of units across key places in Toronto.
Has got to be one of the best landlords I've had - smoothest team from leasing, and to service within the unit.

We have been staying at apartments managed by Zahra Properties for the last 3 years and our experience has been fantastic. Their property management team is excellent and have been very responsive and receptive whenever we have had any issues. I have been dealing with Uzma over the last few months for a couple of maintenance issues and she’s been amazing, right from registering our request, to coordinating with the vendor to resolve issues and following up with us post service calls to check if our issues have been resolved. I’ve been with Zahra for over two years now, and I recently moved into another apartment managed by them. The experience has been smooth and stress-free.

Landlord refused to do any maintenance until I gave notice to vacate. Also refused to pay last month's deposit interest or key deposit after returning the key.

The team at Zahara Properties is very helpful and attentive to their costumers. Have been with them for 8 years and I highly recommend them.

This is a condo rental corporation that has good integrity in its responsibility and ethics. I have been living here for several years and they always have a quick response to my requests for maintenance.

I wouldn't usually leave a comment, but Nash from Zahra Properties addressed my concern prior to my move in date and solved the problem really quick. Hopefully from here it's a smooth sail.

Most of the 5 stars is for Uzma, who has been extremely patient and sincere. There were some technical issues of some appliances and we needed several appointments to fix them. Uzma has been very organized and she follows the process very carefully! She also actively contacts us to make sure things go according to plan.
