Fabulous! I had a massage, facial, pedi and cut and style. The staff were knowledgeable and pleasant and I was super happy with the service and results. I will be coming back soon.

An absolute terrible experience. Do not get your haircut from Zana Day Spa. I have never written a review, but I feel I must base on our experience.
In December my wife wanted to have a hair cut. It had been nearly three years since her last cut because of the pandemic and giving birth. I booked her an appointment go to Zana based on its reputation as a spa and that we live close to it. I wanted her to have a spa experience. I went online to book and selected a Cut and Style, as its Christmas was only given the option of a 45 min time slot.
Her hair was thick and lengthy to below her waist (she’s 5ft7).
My wife went to Zana and there was a curt hello and please take a seat. Anyway, she waited for her stylist, Carmen to take her over. Carmen washed her hair and then sat her in the chair and asked her what she would like. My wife explained that she would like the cut to be below the chest still keeping her hair long and would like some layering and styling around the face.
Carmen without brushing the hair or taking a small amount to confirm, just grabbed a large portion of hair and cut it all off. Then she continued cutting. Where had she cut the hair off? Her shoulders! A foot and a half of hair gone. It’s only when another patron looked down in shock did my wife realise more than half of her hair was missing. What meant to be a 6 inch trim was now an 18 inch plus cut!
Carmen’s only response was it’ll grow back. My wife was holding back tears because this was supposed to be a special cut after near 3 years, also her only brothers wedding is coming up and she wanted it long and styled for that. Now it will take months if not years to grow back. Whilst holding back tears she still paid and even left a tip. The cut itself is the worst cut she has ever had, I mean I could have done a better job! There was no layering, no styling around the face just a blunt cut that wasn't even straight. One side of her hair was shorter than the other. Unfortunately, she will have to wait until her hair grows back to have another haircut to fix it otherwise it will be even shorter and harder to tie up.
She came home upset and in tears, so I tried calling and calling and calling and couldn’t get through. So, I decided to visit Zana and speak with the Manager. I went there and spoke with the receptionist and explained the situation, his response was it didn’t look short to him and asked if my wife can come in. Then I spoke with the Manager who said that she wasn’t part of the conversation with the stylist and so she brought Carmen over. I explained to Carmen that my wife was upset and that she cut too much off and her blasé attitude was I cut it, its done, now what else do you want. I said obviously I want the money back. She admitted to the manager that she didn’t cut what my wife had wanted, but even then, the Management offered no apologies or said how can we make this better.
The customer service is awful here. It's not the type of service you would expect from a fancy spa. Also, unprofessional, because whilst my wife was having her hair cut Carmen was commenting on another customer to make light of the fact, she was balding and then proceeded to tell my wife she is lucky to have such thick hair. Then she asked why didn’t she book a longer time because her next customer was here. I feel she was scissor crazy and was only interested in being on time for her next client. What was supposed to be a nice, well deserved, self care, feel good experience for my wife, a new mother, ended up being a complete disaster.

I booked 2 services over the holidays at Zana: a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was worth the $100 I paid (with tip) - but the shellac manicure was absolutely not worth the $100 I paid (with tip).
The girl who did my manicure was delightful, but the shellac and top coat used produced painfully amateur looking results. 4 of my nails have visible air bubbles in them and the ridges around the nail are all piece-y and jagged instead of clean and professional looking. I cannot believe I paid that much money for these nails. The place I go to in Vancouver charges legitimately half the price for 3x better quality of work. I will NEVER book here for a manicure again - they are out of their minds to charge that much for these results.

I've had my hair cut and coloured for years at this spa, along with aesthetic services. Carmen my 'go to' hair stylist/colourist is always friendly & welcoming. Every time I leave the salon with a smile on my face from the great experience and my hair feels & looks healthy. I really like the new colour she recommended this visit. I highly recommend her!

Zana is such a wonderful spa. The staff and owner are so warm and friendly. Janet is the best RMT. They take great care of me and my well-being.

Zana Day Spa is the only place I'd trust to go for all my skin care needs for myself and my teenager daughter! Clean environment, caring and specialized service.they have it all! Thanks for all you've done for us!

Extremely professional, very satisfied with treatment and the whole experience. So nice to walk into a place that is spotless and welcoming from an up-beat staff. I highly recommend this wonderful place to all.

Zana Day Spa is by far the best spa around. Staff are extremely professional, friendly and very welcoming. The space is beautifully decorated, spacious and always very clean. Most importantly the service is "top notch". I have been getting my hair styled, coloured and cut for over 25 years by Dinha (owner). She does such a wonderful job each and every visit I have had and I always feel amazing walking out the door after my appointment. My colours have been absolutely amazing (so warm and natural) and I love the cuts that she has given me. I would highly, highly recommend Zana Day Spa as the service, the staff and the facility are all EXCELLENT!

An amazing spa. Service is through the roof, staff is so professional and welcoming. I love their products and the ambience, couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience. I booked a massage with an RMT when I showed up the appointment was for a different but similar service. I was extra disappointed b/c I was looking forward to a relaxing experience after months of self isolation. When I expressed my dissatisfaction it was met with indifference. High end prices. Low end service. Don’t waste your time or money.

Just had my first facial done by Melissa and it was amazing. I really had no idea what to expect with a facial but highly recommend finding out your skin type and what your daily routine should be.

Tried hot stone massage, Janet is awesome. The facilities clean and reception is great! Definitely will be coming back! Awesome experience!

Amazing experience at Zana spa, and excellent RMT/ Janet very skilled. The hot stone massage that I got it's worth every penny, even its a bit pricey.

This salon has made my wife cry twice, terrible reception, RIP off prices and always ask about your bill because they always try and over charge you. Never will we be back!

I’ve been to this salon twice now and just recently got my hair done by Carmen! It is by far my favourite hair I’ve ever gotten done. She listened exactly to what I wanted and recommended great products to keep my hair healthy! I have never left the salon happier. 10/10 would recommend Carmen!

MEN this is NOT the place to buy a gift card for anyone! Very expensive $$$$$ plus booking seems to be an issue. I booked for shampoo and style they booked me in for a cut and style then tried charging me the cost of that, not for what I actually had done. 40 min blow out cost me 56$ and I washed my own hair before arrival (neck issue). Not impressed, they didn't even offer a beverage. Go with caution and watch the cost.
