Have been one of the first clients when this takeout place opened have many favorite dishes but some of the best ones are bun kababs, nihari, biryani etc and especially halwa puri is one of the best around. I recommend it highly surely you'll enjoy the food
Excellent place to get Pakistani Food. Just like home. Best Biryani, Ch. Karma, Ch. Karhai, Dal Mash, are the best in taste. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Prices are average. Quantity is enough.
My wife and me are highly grateful to Mr Hisham to serve us with his courteous approach, filled with smile and friendly welcome. It indeed was a very good experience for breakfast. Added to it, all of the food items ordered (in particular Halwa puri) and served readily was very hot, delicious and mouth watering. Thanks to the chef for the authentic preparation. Hisham reflects thru' his sincere dedication at work front as a humble and potential asset to its employer and displays excellent customer service. Well done Zeerah Takeout. Keep it up.
I have been coming here for the last few years and quality of food and service is amazing. Their Bihari and Chicken Boti rolls are the best in Mississauaga. Their Nihari and Bun kabab are authentic Pakistani style. Even Sunday morning breakfast with halwa poori reminds me of back home. So happy to find this place.
The nihari is pretty good taste wise, it would be better if they gave more lemon on the side as there isn't enough for the portion of nihari, the sesame seed naan is great and super fresh, would definitely recommend. The dine in is limited tho it's a small restaurant with only like 5 seats
Grabbed some halwa puri for big family brunch and everyone loved it! One of the few places that have aloo bhujia/sabzi. The halwa especially, was soo good!
Salaam. Not only is the food good, esp.the puri bhaaji (halwa puri), the customer service is commendable too. Mr. Nafees offered to get us fresh Puri bhaaji (which they usually serve till 2 PM), and was very considerate. There's a small seating area inside, and a couple of benches outside. The facility is clean and the people making the food work pretty hard. JazaakAllahu khayr! May Allah bless your business and you folks more and more. Aameen!
Tired the Aloo paratha and daal and beef bun kabab. Loved the paratha, was an authentic home made experience exactly like my mom makes it. Preferred the beef bun kabab over the daal, really good!
Authentic Pakistani Food Taste. Quantity is good main thing is FRESH food i tried Nihari, Channy (Cholay), Haleem, Halwa puri, Bun kabab and shahi tukray and these all Were amazing. Managment is nice, humble and cooperative
Excellent food and service! Have tried everything from bun kababs to rolls to curries and fish and it's true authentic Pakistani food. We drive an hour every time just to eat their food!
The food especially Halwa, Porie & Cholas are way fresh, delicious and one of a kind. After long time I got a chance to get this tasty Desi food, today I came from USA to visit my nephew and he had a party in our honor, I wish the Zeerah Food Shop will be opened in NJ as well, he will get a very respond from American customers because there is a very big Desi community (Pakistani) who are looking standard Desi food lovers. I wish for your business increases and serve the community with delicious food.
Delicious food, Great prices, Excellent customer service. I recommend the seek kabab as it has the best flavours, Halwa puri, Soups and kheer are the best. The quality of the food is amazing. I visit Zeerah every sunday with my family
7/10 overall rating - ordered the halva puri combo for breakfast with 1 order each of beef kebab and chicken kebab and nihari (regular size). The halva puri combo was a 8/10. The puri’s are a good size and not tiny at all. Halva & potato curry was done properly. The chick peas (channa) was loaded with a bit too much blend of spices (masala) personally not a fan but it was fine. The nihari was 9/10 - the thing was, there were only 3 pieces of beef which was not enough for how much nihari (the liquid portion of the curry) was provided. One thing I highly would NOT recommend are BOTH of the Beef & Chicken Seekh kebabs. STAY CLEAR from this unless you enjoy chewing on spicy rubber. Didn’t even taste like I was eating meat. The extreme level of spiciness didn’t make this experience remotely enjoyable at all. I understand it’s a Pakistani restaurant and spice is a staple… but this was just overdoing it. Had to throw a full beef and chicken seekh kebab skewer out. Shame really. Other than the terrible kebab experience, I’d give this breakfast a 3.5/5. Would i recommend this place? Yes. Would I be coming back? Yeah, probably in another 6-12 months.
Went for their breakfast halwa poori combo.bro when i say my heart ran to Lahore and back after tasting that poori. And we took some nihari back home afterwards.the taste and spice on that nihari was awesome! Like good lord it reset my whole brain. I will definitely come again
This place has good food i have tasted their goat biryani and it was so tasty along with those samosas chicken and kashmir chai. Try them t good customer service and make good food they also will suggest u the right choice for your party or family gathering as I witnessed it my self a lady was in for biryani for 25 ppl most restaurants will either tell to pre order but they suggested exactly based on requirements and no wait time this is called going above and beyond.
I wanted to put this comment but couldn't get the time on the same day but this is a sign of excellent service
Our go to place for bun kabobs and chicken samosas whenever we come to Mississauga from NY and they have never disappointed! Today we also tried the halwa puri combos and the anda paratha combo and those were very good too. The chana was a little heavy on the garam masala but over all tasted great. The halwa was really good, one of the best that I have tasted in North America. We will be back for more next time we are in town. Thank you.
I am red meat lover. I have been eating Mutton Biryani from Zeerah since last one year. Used to have their veal biryani before. The make it on the weekends, initially I had my doubts that's it's Lamb and not mutton also meat smell is a big issue for me personally. After having the Biryani at last 3-4 times, I am almost sure it's mutton they put good quality muttom, and one of best mutton biryani option available in the Mississauga area.
When you heard that there is a pakistani takeout or restaurant, you wish it would taste like pakistani food, because you don't get actual desi taste over here. It was my first time I ordered omelet paratha, and i wish it to be like pakistani wala omelet and paratha, but I was so so disappointed, There was a ginger and jalapeño type green chilli in it, I mean who adds these stuff in paki omelet man, then the paratha was uncooked first of all, second, it didn't even look like a paratha, it felt like it was bought a frozen rotti and sell it to us. So so painful actually, because i really really wanted to eat a good pakistani food, when i opened it I was like, what the hell, why they couldn't just make dishes like actually made over in our country. I didn't have to write this review, but i feel so bad about that why they couldn't just make it in a simple way, why unnecessary ruining it.
Good. Best Haleem i have ever eaten. Ordinary. Biryani is expensive and not great in taste.one can get the same at half the prize at other place. Other dishes that i would recommend are Nihari, Kadai and bun kabab.
Had classical chana puri breakfast. Amazing taste, excellent service. Fair price for the quantity. Ordered a take out of Bihari kabab and biryani. Relishing taste, very close to a home made food not typical restaurant style. Staff was welcoming and warm.ambience is simple gives a bit of nostalgic effect of restaurants in pakistan.
Horrible burgers. The daal in the bun kabab was literally in pieces and fell out completely.no sauces were added. No taste.all 3 burgers had no sauce.if the owner can take any advice, plz hire professional cooks or atleast learn from a cook book/youtube.
Very bad experience. Restaurant management does not take instructions clearly. I ordered biryani, quorma and soup from this restaurant foe first time and specifically asked for spice level to be mild, however the biryani and quorma was very spicy. Soup was good. Management needs to retrain the order takers to listen to specific instructions. Will never place another order here from this restaurant.
The worse nehari I ever had.these guys do not know what nehari is all about as guess they are from Lahore. Never seen Nehari with so called meat Full of Fat never seen green chilled floating In nehari Bad bad experience Despite I Have Been VISITING This PLACE For LAST 4 YEARS.hmm guess with time passes instead of maintaining standards they do not bother about quality
Some of the items are expensive like their chicken Naan. $7 for each and barely has any chicken. It was just a bread with little spot of chicken. Main they add $0.50 chicken there. 12 Naan cost me almost $100.00. Try something cheap. Don't get Naan.
Just had their chicken biryani. It was microwaved - some parts were cold some were warm. You can go to Laari Adda or Kakori nearby and see the difference in quality.
All food items were spicy for our taste. We were disappointed to see that few customers entered the restaurant without masks and were hanging around and the staff didnt tell them to put their masks on. In these COVID times, I wish the restaurant upheld its own rules strictly. Dont think we will be going here anytime soon.
We ordered on Friday. Honestly I was a bit scared as people had so many mixed reviews but first I loved the online ordering, so smooth N prompt and then the fresh food. The beef keema naan is a must try and so is the seekh kabab paratha roll. The briyani was good as well. All businesses have their good days and bad days so I think trying yourself is a good idea!
We got samosas today from this place. I specially confirmed if they are handmade and made in house as I did not want to get the frozen ones. The owner clearly lied and the samosas were stale and frozen cooked. I felt very cheated if he would told me upfront I would have ordered something else.
I have been ordering food from Zeerah Restaurant for many years now. Food still taste excellent as it was many years ago. Their speciality is Karachi street food Bun Kabob, paratha roll, biryani and many other things.
I tried their chicken boti roll, and their seekh kabab roll, and I must say, I loved the rolls, especially the chatnee they are served with. I had to wait approximately 12-15 minutes. Usually, desi restaurants put mayo in their rolls, but this was a fresh change from that.
Very nice people working there. The food was pretty tasty (butter chicken). Where it went wrong for me was the chicken biriyani. I dug into the rice looking for the chicken and I find the thigh that looks like it was already half eaten or picked at. I try to rationalize thinking that it may be the result of tearing the different pieces apart and some of the meat went along with it. But looking at it closer, looks like a piece of half eaten chicken. I'll leave it for the people to decide with the photo. Regardless, nothing should come out looking like this. I'd be disappointed in my staff sending food out like this.
I've just had the worst brain Masala ever. You could taste staleness of the brain. Oh God it tasted like something no human is probably accustomed to. I'm just sitting here waiting to get sick.
Portion size is very small for the price. Quality of food was an issue. Meat did not taste like meat it was powdery. Had the chicken bun did not taste like chicken felt like a frozen patty.
I got a chicken and beef one with egg.it was a little pricey, or atleast I thought at first.however, once I had the sandwich, it was worth every penny!
Their quality has drastically changed.ordered bihari roll and dal bun kabab. I've had these items here before and they used to be super good.but today I ordered them they weren't of the same quality n taste both them were really sour i don't know why, the dal in the bun kabab was just tasteless n seemed old. I hope they can come back to their same original taste.
Zeerah has delicious chicken biryani and the bun kabobs are also amazing! I always stop by when I’m in the area and would definitely recommend them if you’re craving Pakistani food
Very disappointed with its tikka and bar b que! For the price they sell, the quality is really bad! Dry and smelly chicken! The rrst of the things are also not good! They are bland and cost alot for no good! They really need to aork on their quality!
Oh my God! Biryani was awful. With all the spices it still smelled like raw chicken.and all the blood you still claim it's halal? You don't even care to rinse it. How can you people sleep at night? !
Their Nihari and Haleem are pretty consistent. Other options are OK'ish. Lately the quality of naans have been going downhill and they taste super artificial and salty. And please don't allow customer to park infront of your door because it is illegal to block the road.
Bought chicken biryani for 8.50 plus taxes. Came with two chicken legs and pulao rice with no spices what so ever. Totally fake biryani with high price. I would never go back to this take out rip off place. No one should buy anything there.
I just picked up breakfast for, which is realistically for 1 person. Puri filled with oil and not properly fried. The only thing these people fry these days is CUSTOMER. Hopeless hopeless hopeless service. Pathetic when people are so greedy for money but wouldn’t provide proper food or service, oh wait service! WHAT DOES IT EVEN MEAN
The quality and taste of food has really gone down recently; specially for the price. Today I bought nehari & channa masala and both were tasteless full of chilli. Few months back these dishes used to be very tasty. I am only giving 2 stars as lady at the counter was very friendly efficient and well mannered.
The quality and flavour of food has really gone downhill recently, especially for the price. The butter chicken is just tomato sauce and chicken - No cream or butter. The Biryani is not as flavourful as it used to be. We thought it was a one time thing, so we reordered, but it the quality is just as poor this time around.
I ordered a Tandoori chicken leg thinking it would be spectacular seeing the lavish misrepresented pictures up on their screen. I paid over $7 for something that looked stale, dry and tasteless. On top of that it was tiny! Would not even serve a teenager. Please see the picture I have posted.
Never punctual about time on theor take out orders.on their website the prices are different and when you order in person, they do not honour it. Their quantity is really little. Somethings never change. And i would not give it another shot because i dont plan on coming back.
The service was friendly and the price was good. The halwa puri nashta was really bad though. The puri was ridiculously oily and the halwa was overly sweet.
Normally they are very good but the Bun Kebabs today were all tasteless and although my wife did ask them to make them as hot as possible but there was hardly amy chutney inside. Disappointed as we drove from Cambridge.
I ordered two party trays of beef pulao and butter chicken from this place for an eid get together after researching from a few other places decided to give them a try.
Here's my opinion: their prices were good (actually the best compared to all the other halal catering places in Mississauga I called) for the sizes they gave, taste was fairly good, not the best, the butter chicken was too salty and I didn't appreciate the fact that it didn't look like the normal traditional butter chicken looks like, my guest were confused as to what it was and I had to keep on telling them, due to it being a tandoori colour orange as opposed to the bright orange butter chicken usually is.
Pulao was tasty but a little dry and also more rice then beef pieces, ratio was a little of.
First time, ordered Beef and Chicken Seekh kebabs and Chicken Malai Tikka, with Garlic Naans. Couldn't resist the smell driving it home, absolutely delicious!
I ordered a single serve biryani today, and for biryani that is almost 7 bucks, it was disappointing. I ordered it with a chicken thigh, but I received a very small leg, and it came with no raita. It's becoming a very repetitive pattern for a restaurant that keeps raising its prices
Deeeeelicious Pakistani street-food! The best in Mississauga.
Tasty, authentic, and just like you're back in Karachi. Very very reasonable prices. Service is great, order by phone and it's ready in 10-15 (with rare expceptions to 20min if it's a busy day).
Great food! Quick service! This place has one of the best biryanis (take it from someone that knows Biryani!) and I regularly go here once a week. Great food options. Make sure to try the keema roti/parathas!
