Zehrs

Definitely don't come to Zehrs for customer service. The deli counter is run by two hung over dudes. Fair enough boys, this might not be your dream job, this might be a part time gig for something better, but don't roll your eyes at when I ask for sliced meat. It's bad enough zehrs is double the price. I can't stand coming to this store, and it's too bad because it's the closest grocery store to me.

The kind of clean, orderly and friendly efficiency I can count on as I travel. It was a busier night yet clientele moved throughout the store smoothly. Not even long lines to check out. Nice balance. We were able to find everything we wanted.

We t to get middle child vaccinated. All are set up by Shoppers Drug Mart, but administered by Zehrs. They don't tell you that on the appointment confirmation. Check the address to be sure, or you, like me, will spend 15 minutes driving between 2 different stores.

Easiest place to shop. Massive selection of food, good sales, and the express pickup option makes shopping very convenient as you can shop online and then pickup curbside.

Your cashiers are not as friendly as other stores, most of them don't even bother helping customers pack their grocery first; always wait for us to pack things ourselves and then pretend to help. Lack of customer service. Sometimes I feel unwelcome. I only shop here because it's super close to my house. I would not shop at your supermarket if there was another one nearby! On the other hand, there are great employees who helped us look for items we needed. They didn't leave before we found it.

Same line for self check out as seeing a cashier, decided to use the self check out because of the long line and no one was using it, line cop Karen and another staff member decided to start harassing me because I decided to use the self check out, telling me to shop at Walmart and started screaming at me and making a scene. Great customer service staff maybe next time do your job and value your customers time by directing them to use the self checkout instead of making a big line up, only grocery store that does this. Make 2 lines one for self check out, one for cashier's.

I know it's only a grocery store, but I really like this Zehrs. Large, well-lit, and has a clean and well-organised feel to it.

Staff were very friendly and respectful of social distancing.

Love this location! It's very clean and spacious with lots of selection. Staff is friendly and they have deli counter, butcher counter, fresh fish counter and bakery. I love that they still bag your things for you unlike most places nowadays!

A little on the pricey side, but they always have fresh produce and follow strict covid guidelines to make for a safe shopping experience.

I bought a 50% product for baking an it had marshmallows so hard they almost broke our teeth. We were able to use the chocolate and nuts but were disappointed at just how stale the product was, it should have been discounted more

I find Zehrs expensive so generally only shop the specials. My husband loves their raisin bread and thankfully they finally listened and left some loaves unsliced.

Every time I pick up my order there is a problem with it. And the store manager isn't available to hear about it. Avoid this store if possible.

Decent place to shop, prices are higher on some items. I usually go to take advantage of their sales on meat and deals through optimum points.

Well stocked, well laid out, has almost everything we need. Sometimes they discontinue things randomly

Good place for groceries, the doughnuts baked at the bakery are delicious, plus there is alot attention to sanitation.

I've always liked this store, it's well laid out, some stuff is organized in spots it doesn't belong, its a nice store to shop at and the cashier's are always friendly

Friendly but didn't like i went to do return a dress. Had to go returns somewhere else. Waited in line and then again. Too much time wasted. Should of been able to do this at returns.

I was shopping for t-bone steaks on Thursday afternoon around 2-3
The butcher was so helpful! He was serving another customer but actually took time to acknowledge me and say sorry about the wait. He was so kind
He suggested I wrap them so they would keep better! He really was very helpful! I appreciated such great service! I didn’t get his name but I’m sure you will know who I mean

I shop here regularly. I have noticed during this pandemic that a lot of there stuff has gone up quite a bit. Even pepperonis which were 8.99 and there now 11.99. There are many many more items like that. I understand that they might have to incur a little spending for the extra cleaning and stuff but shame on you guys as you have lived fart off the hog for many many years before this.
Loblaws should be ashamed of themselves.

The groceries are great there BUT I pay EXTRA for a premium grocery store that 95% OF THE TIME NEVER packs my groceries. So irritating. I do love the quality of produce but I cant stomach the cashiers pulling out 5 bags and handing them to me to pack my bags

Zhers is an ok grocery store. I find it to be overpriced and they never have all of the produce I need available.

I am a single Mother of two little boys and work 7 days a week 2 jobs until 2am and I have one night a week that I can get off early enough to shop and organize childcare

Excellent service! My son was unexpectedly sick while shopping and the customer service we received was amazing! Thank you for making a difficult situation easier!

This is my home away from home haha. You can find absolutely everything and anything here. I can't leave the store without an outfit for my son, from Joe Fresh.

Large clean grocery store. Lots of selection. I'm used to smaller Zehr's stores and this one is so much bigger with a wide variety of products catering to a broad populace. Hot and chilled pre-made meals available. Also has a coffee shop by the entrance.

It's a lovely store.fresh produce.well-maintained but it isn't your discount store.you're not going to get the prices that you get at No Frills or Food Basics

We shop at Zehrs to pick up odds and ends we we can't seem to find it else where it's a great location the staff are friendly but one little hiccup we came by last week to pick up chicken tenders and potato wedges and onion rings we had to throw them out as soon as we got home they must of been sitting under those heating lamps for hrs in our opinion they should be discarded after 1/2hr and made fresh as these were hard as rock they were dehydrated. SORRY Zehrs make fresh ones.

Great sliced watermelon, my cashier was friendly, polite, & smiled! Not like most of the other staff, she was re-freshing

Worst experience at this location rude un-informed cashier as usual when they dont know an answer they become rude. This from a company that receives Government funding 22 million for fridges and yet they owe in taxes

This particular zehrs is one of the best places to shop in Barrie. Centrally located in the north side of town, there are several restaurants & a Dollarama in the same plaza. The store itself is well stocked with just about everything you could ever need.

I love this grocery store but it would be nice if the staff didnt ALL park close to the door. When it's pouring rain or a blizzard it would be nice as a customer to be able to park closer to the door. I went at 8: 30am on a Saturday and all the vehicles were in the spots closest the door. But the far away spots were all completely empty. Where are the staff parking?

Sometime the customer service is garbage you are asked to somebody put a question they don't know nothing you go to the bakery and ask for something the manager cut your head off simple question the distance you sold me in the night cook I just want to point to her but I'm nobody give a s*** in the store not of the manager and nobody so I give up could I put my put my two cents I'm a customer to

I like Zehrs, however they need to cut back on the single use plastics. I know that they can do better, we have alternatives. Time for Zehrs to become more environmentally friendly and even maybe a leader in the industry.

Their deli leaves much to be desired. Clerks cannot slice and package deli meat. When you pay 35 bucks a kilo I expect slices to be flat and not crumpled into glob. Train your staff!
