Went to the pharmacist for Tylenol #1's because the extra strength ones (on the regular shelves) were doing nothing and i have an awful headache, jaw pain and cramps.was told "you don't need them, they're not for headaches, try the stuff on the shelf. " and when i said "i did and it doesn't work" she pretty much shrugged me away. Amazing Service. Woman clearly knows me more then i know myself.

It is an excellent shopping destination for groceries, offering a wide variety. While there are only a few Indian items, the diverse selection caters to many needs. Personally, I'm a fan of Zehrs' cakes—the quality is impressive. The standout, however, is the consistently friendly service, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable.

The subs had stale buns and dried out meat and the servings of chicken and wedges are tiny and over priced

The produce is terrific - both fresh and a wide selection. And the cashiers are wonderful!

Don't ever get your big water jugs from here. They ask for a 10 deposit on top of the 7 bucks the water costs, then tell you when you return the jug you can either get a full one or return the jug and the 10 will come off you groceries. Come to find out today that you don't get the 10 back ever you are just out that deposit period. So if you decide you don't want to buy there water anymore and you have 4 jugs you are out that 40 bucks period. So do yourself a favor and just keep the jugs and fill them elsewhere

The worst produce in all of Cambridge. Ive thrown more zehrs produce in the garbage than i can count. I paid $10.99 recently for a rotten watermelon. The oranges are dry and have no juice and zero taste. The apples are the same, mush and zero taste. The romaine lettuce i looked at yesterday was already rotten in the bag. The produce manager needs to be fired! Do your job and inspect and taste test the product, you ask exhuberant prices for. You see its visible rotten.get rid of it, duh.

If you are looking to get ignored and treated like garbage, head to the fresh meat counter. I've been going here for 5 years now and the only good, polite service I get is from the teen/early 20 guys that work at this counter (unfortunately they're only part time). Went in tonight and waited for 10 minutes while the lady cleaned mats and equipment. She definitely saw me but didn't come to help me. Another worker walked by and I asked her if the meat counter was closed. "I don't work in this department. " And she walked away. I went to grab some other stuff and circled back. This time I waited only a couple of minutes and then Kalan came over to help me (thank God for Kalan). He was apologetic and didn't seem surprised, but was very pleasant to me (as he usually is). I understand some people don't like to work with the public, it's not an easy job. Perhaps then don't put them on a customer service counter. I wish the other Zehrs had a fresh meat counter so I could go there instead.

I have shopped at this store since it opened, post KMart. Used to love coming here, but Loblaws has gotten greedier and greedier to the point that I literally cannot stand to enter the building without steam coming out my ears. Went in about 3 months ago for a few things and came out with nothing. My wife just talked me into going in with her the other day, and it has been changed (renovated) to the point of uselessness. Walked out again. Sorry guys but your pricing structures, “club membership” and lack of care for your customers has sealed the deal. I’d give you zero stars if I could.

What can I say about zerhs but overpriced! Back in the day I used to get my produce there but nowadays other grocery stores go through so much produce it’s always fresh too with a fraction of the cost. I only go to zerhs as soon as they open to buy their discounted meats.
I foresee in time zerhs will be like Sears once the baby boomers are gone. Closed

Always been coming here for most of my food and products needed. Staff are always helpful. Not a fan tho of the shrinking of the store as it's reduced the food products they carry.

One of the supermarket store where customer service is actually taken care of! Each employee helps you out irrespective of your concerns! Wonderful experiences happen in great managed places only

Great selection, and great steaks when you can get them on special. The ground beef however leaves much to be desired, the last 4 out of 5 times the beef was rotten when I got it, or had gone bad a good 2 days before its expiration date.

I rarely shop at zehrs because generally I can find what I need for less elsewhere. That being said, on a Monday afternoon not one out the four associates I asked (all in different departments) could tell me where to find a particular item. Ok, but not one tried find someone who could or even see if the item was in stock. Then I get to the register and the pretty girl behind the counter was packing some of my stuff and kind of made a mess of the cupcakes but don't worry she patiently waited for me to walk back to the bakery to see if I could find ones that weren't all stuck together. My luck that was the last package of its kind.
I didnt even get an apology. I think maybe the young staff should be reminded that customers are who pays their paychecks. The extra money people spend here should get them some decent customer service. A little kindness and courtesy goes a very long way and it doesn't cost a thing.

They have no idea what they are doing here. No one is directing the self check-out lane, it's not clear to where you put your cart if you are simply carrying your groceries out, no easy access to small carts (not offered). What a waste of time, they should be ashamed if themselves.

I don't know why, but when I come here other shoppers act very disrespectful and they don't care about distancing. Almost like they go out of their way to not do it, like they've got something to prove. My last visit was 9 months ago.now I remember why I've avoided this place. I always experience anxiety when shopping here.

Always fully stocked, great verity of products, very clean, well organized, expensive but nice to go in from time to time for a change.

Went to deli for cold cuts no one there told they on break really no one to cover for break brutal management

Amazing experience I'm in the shelter and had a grocery card giving to me for my son and I and we couldnt afford everything.but my angel patsy. I believe was her name kindly bought me fruit for my son I couldnt afford.were grateful and she deserves a raise for going beyond her job title and made my day and put my faith back in people thank you for being a beautiful woman

Just wish the cashiers had any sense of urgency. Most of the time too busy to chat with each other or with customers which I wouldn't mind if they would ring people through at the same time. Otherwise always well stocked and clean just way pricier than other options near by

To the manager running this store. Can u please hire some competant efficient workers. These old birds r slower than molasses. Also there attitudes are that of a child.
The workers telling people what lane to go too is a waste of money. No beer at this store. Deplorable

Two things you will never find in this store is common sense and good management. At a time when we are in a pandemic and everyone is encouraged to and in fact needs to be wearing a mask they put a Starbucks in the grocery store. This encourages people to take their mask off while shopping to drink coffee. This morning I went for ice. It is only available in the kiosk which they now don't open until 10: 30.

Most of the weekend cashiers are part-time students with minimal experience. Checking the bill this morning we found celery billed as Brussel sprouts.

The number of times we find merchandise still on the shelf that is well past its expiry date is unbelievable

This is the worse store in Cambridge for grocery shopping.

Ryan from lost prevention was harassing a customer and there family claiming they stole something. The mother was crying saying she didn’t understand but he was rude and demanding that she showed him her purse. Conclusion was she did not steal anything and he was at fault. Please avoid shopping here at all cost they might harass you or someone you care about. Don’t be Ryan’s next victim!

I don't go to there's very often I only go when there's a deal. This is my first time to this particular Zehrs. I thought they would have had more tills open. It would have made for an easier visit. I had to hunt around Zehrs looking for the particular deal. I thought they would hide it near the main doors. (Halloween candy) I ended up using the self-checkout units they had the smallest line. Even though I do not like you using self checkout units.

Always good experience as food is so fresh and Joe fresh is there as well but bit on expensive side and they dont do price match even if its from their own brand.

The store at this location is well stocked, really no issues here. I used to walk here all the time with my friends and get small things for picnics and goofing off. The entrance faces where the sun sets, so the tall windows always show the nice orange glow. Great variety, a great location:)

Went to hot food and got served freezing cold rice and meatballs.nothing is fresh clearly it comes out of a freezer, oh and I got served after standing there waiting for 10-15 mins while different workers behind the counter made eye contact with me. Always bad service at that counter.

Twice I have bought flowers here and both times was not happy. The flowers did not flourish. Never again.

Love this grocery store. Lots of selection and they have a pretty nice meat counter. Fruit always seems to be very fresh as well

Always short my prescriptions sending me home with IOU, s waiting till the last minute to refill.
If I could give it a Zero rating I would. I will be moving my business to another pharmacy. This place is not worth the hassle.

Can't see ever lacking to find something in this fantastic store. Had the pleasure of having our groceries bagged by players of the local boys hockey team. What a great way to encourage donations. When asked where we tip for their charity, without either of the 2 young boys bothering to ask us, they let us know where their contribution table was - near the exit.

Great customer service in every Department I've been to! Just wish they would lower their prices a little bit to be more competitive. However I do enjoy their sales.

As a visible minority, I know I am being profiled as I walk into this store because the not-so-subtle announcer calls for security within seconds of my walking in This happens regularly. And their "security" isn't very subtle either as I watch them follow me right to when I go to self-checkout. I thought that was what the cameras are for? Idiots.

One stop shopping for grocery and pharmacy needs. They sell beer, clothing, decor and kitchen ideas here.

Don't forget to stop in at the PC booth on your way out, if you pay with your pc Mastercard, you get bonus points!

It's great that loads of folks make a living here. Personally, I'd be okay if all the huge grocery stores just packed up and went elsewhere.

Great food, everything from the junkiest junk food to the healthiest choices, large families dream for diversity.

I love their cut up fruit dishes
They make having a fruit salad for breakfast so much faster and convenient.
And it is healthier for you than cereal.

I camp a lot at Valens Conservation. It's only 10 minutes away from the Zehrs in Galt. The Zehrs is full sized and has everything that you'd want. I just stumbled across it last week. Because of the close proximity and the completeness of the store, I'll be getting all of my food supplies their while at Valens, and shop every day to reduce food waste and make great use of the cooler storage space. The Zehrs in Galt is also shadowed by a Canadian Tire, another place for camping supplies if required.

Regular prices are high (but competitive sales!), but quality is great, and selection outstanding. Tasty samples on weekends, with no pressure to buy. I come here weekly, because of their cafeteria sitting area on the balcony. I do my office work here, and they don't mind, and I do much shopping here in return. Thanks so much! Oh, and all the staff are so very friendly.

Has a tendancy to leave expired food on the shelves (for us it's usually yogurt) and seems to run out of fruit regularly! But very clean, well organized (usually), good staff and lots of other products!

Wife likes the preorder thing, which has been good - no issues. Not my favourite place for customer service thoughtl, as employees only seem to deal with their own departments and don't try to help out if it is not their area. It seems morale is down, often hear complaining from employees amongst themselves when purchasing. Also, when paying a premium for groceries, please bag them instead of chatting it up. Good things, i like the selection and certain deals. Also, when one of my kids got lost, their response time was very quick and made a priority to find him. All in all, its a good change from when i shop away from my go-to grocer. But not my go-to grocer.

Metro and Zehrs compete for the mosy expensive grocery stores around. This place is huge they have so much stuff even clothes. Its more like a walmart. An expensive one. One benefit is that they do home deliveries.

A lot larger than i thought.i go to different zehrs but definitely will be checking this one out more often. My only complaint i only seen the one entrance/exit.i wish zehrs has what walmart does for exiting entering.zehrs like walmart is large store thats a challenge for people with a disability

The store is spacious, clean, wide Isles. Have a lot of selection that small there's theirs do not have. The problem I do have is when they have specials, sometimes the specials aren't in stock or you can't even find them and they do not have many staff to assist you in finding an item

I work for this grocery store for 35 years I quit / retired the management is so poor that after 35 years I walked out the front door and that was it no goodbyes nice working with you nothing and 1 months ago was the last day I worked and I'll never step foot in the store again. I have no real hard feelings it did get me to where I am today it allowed me to retire early and I get to enjoy the rest of my life with my wife it's unfortunate the way that the young management really don't care about their employees at all they're just worried about themselves and doing what the company says right or wrong it's not good for morale thanks a lot guys Kevin Smith

I love grocery shopping, and Zehrs is the place to go for a huge selection of everything. Some other smaller shops may have more items catering to ethnic groups, but Zehrs is the best at having most of everything.
Produce tends to be the best of Loblaw owned stores.
Pharmacy is great, have been going here for years. Often done while shopping.
Flowers, clothing, toys and housewares add up to a one stop shop for most days.
For bargain hunters the 50% off selection is usually quite good.
