Do not purchase meat here!
Purchased a whole chicken that was clearly marked wrong for best before date! So disgusted and upset. It went straight into my fridge since purchase and I just went to wash and put it in my crock pot and I could smell that it wasn't good through the plastic wrap. Opened it up, slimy and smells sooo bad! Best before date is today. Never had issues using chicken on best before date. Will NOT be buying meat from zehrs again. Thanks for waiting my money during these tough times!

We made a note to staff about our issue but were told to make a review instead. We have no issue with zehres but asked them to change a sign that was geographically and politically incorrect. In the cheese aisle there were signs noting the various countries the cheeses came from. One of the signs said 'English' cheese.but had a large amount of cheese from Wales (Snowdonia brand). Wales and Enlgand are not the same country. It's as bad as confusing Portuguese and Italians or Canadians and Americans. Worse in fact as Wales and England have had many wars. It would be safer to have the sign say "British" cheese. That would cover Wales, England, and Scotland.

No very much selection on healthier food. Exp sugar free candy and wasnt impressed with the party platers or ready made food. Its ok if you need to run in for stuff.

Stopped here to grab a quick something for a party, got a cake from the display and the teenager working the area there wrote a message on it and everything for us. Very happy with it.

Hard to get fresh mushrooms. Spinach supplier needs to prevent nasty bits getting in, Popular 2% milk always sold out. Some BB dates are short. Freezer items look to have melted/ice crystals. Observations over a 4yr span.

I just want to send my compliments to the individuals responsible for hiring the current Starbucks "Barista" team. Out of every Starbucks I have frequented in Orillia, this is the only working team where every single Barista employee has been friendly, well mannered, courteous and professional, which manifests a positive atmosphere in "Zehrs". This motivates the customer to regularly visit. More so, I have observed how each of the Baristas handle the public: When the Baristas are challenged with the hard task of helping the barrage of school students that come in during the weekday, unfriendly customers and the small working space they have to work in, they still manage to serve up smiles along with the drinks. More specifically, I would like to name a couple of workers that in my experience, have done an outstanding job: "Dani" who is the manager, "Kaleigh" the Barista, "Emillie" the Barista, "Gloria" the Barista and "Ada" The Barista. Each of these young women exemplified the persona of a an ideal Barista and genuine human being, which is why they will be successful in all of their endeavors. If you do plan on going to this Starbucks, please approach each of these Baristas with kindness, respect and patience. They have all truly earned it and are deserving of a reward. On November 7th, I did my usual shop and for quickness I picked up a large Caesar salad that had all correct" in date" credentials. From the salad bar.
When I was in the process of tossing to distribute the cheese and bacon bits I realized that all the underneath leaves were turning brown and unappetizing. I fear that an old salad had been dressed to appear fresh. Not the usual standard of produce that I usually experience at my preferred local store. I am disgusted! With you Zehrs!

It’s pretty sad that when the bulk of the store is being pushed to use self check out and when I do the job as an indigenous person I get watched like a hawk and told how I need to place my items claiming it’s store policy but yet I’m the only one ever watched and spoken to about how I’m placing my items! Everyone around me can go about there scanning and putting things where they want with out being spoken to. It’s so obvious that my young son started asking me why the lady is only ever watching us with her back turned to the other check outs? This is not a one time incident it’s an every time certain staff are in the self checkout! I have never stolen from any store in my life I’m the person that sits in my car and looks over my receipt and if I notice I haven’t been charged for something I’ll go back to the store and pay for the item. If I don’t think I was charged for something I’ll double check with the cashier that I was charged for it! If I’m going to do a cashiers job and check out my own groceries I expect to be able to do it with out being told how you think I should do it! I expect that everyone be critically looked at the same way I’m critically looked at! Not everyone will check out there groceries the same, neurodivergent people will have there own system! If
You want to direct how people check out there groceries put your tills back so the cashiers can check EVERYONE out the way you want!

I have been shopping at Zhers for over 30 years…I have been shopping at Zhers Orillia for 3 years…today I shopped there for the last time…I have contacted Zhers head office to report this incident and I feel this incident needs to be made public…I have worked at Sobeys as a cash supervisor/ customer service and Costco front end cashier/packer…I went through the self checkout, one cashier to help all customers, definitely not enough staff…waited awhile for help purchasing discount items, customers who came in after me helped first, that’s ok I’m not in a rush…after paying for my items and approved by internet banking the transaction refused to finish…? Asked for help…explained situation was told “ I don’t want to fight with you! ” What? Fight? I just want some help to continue purchasing my items and I don’t want to pay twice…left without items, store had processed the money through the bank and by the time I was home the store had returned the money to my bank account…what is happening to customer service? Why no additional help to fix this situation, why was I automatically discounted as a valuable customer? I was embarrassed as other customers looked on with interest and the cashier announced that I had been decline to the onlookers…Wow! Unexpected humiliation on a Thursday afternoon at a trusted establishment

A grocery store that's more expensive than regular Loblaws. Maybe they're just a higher end Loblaws? Store was pretty clean and nice to look at. Everything had it's own section with its own style. Though we wouldn't buy anything here. Bit too pricey, but I just guess it's because of where it's located.

This Company Price Gouges it's customers to the extreme, they should probably be sued for it.

I had to purchase a flower arrangement for a family members funeral. The woman, named Karen, was very sympathetic. I couldn’t even think when I went in and she took the time to talk to me and ask about the family member. She wanted to know what kind of person they were, what was their favourite flowers. She gave me her condolences and asked me to return later that day. When I went back, I was shocked at the arrangement she had made in such a short time. Please pass this along to her. She made one of the worst days of my life a little bit easier. Thank you Karen!

Pricey.doesn't do justice. Most expensive groceries in Simcoe county.right in the heart of wealthy Orillia! So terrible.

I shop at this location as my go too grocery store. It's convenient for us and has everything I need. The produce is always fresh, the meat is excellent, (when on sale).
I went today during high school lunch time, needless to say it was very busy. Line ups everywhere. While I was standing in self checkout, I saw two Highschool kids pretend to use the checkout machines and then walked out without paying for their items. I did notify
the person watching and helping with the machines, she told me that it is Zehrs policy not to do anything about theft and that nothing can really be done about it. I have a question about this, will prices increase because of these thefts, it's already so expensive to buy food? Someone is going to have to pay for all of this. I never really thought about the theft issues relating to self checkouts. Not to the extent it probably happens. There has got to be a way to stop the thefts, no lessons learned at all.

Ordered my groceries online for pick up thru PC Express. Pick up time was 930-10. Arrived at 930 and there was no one else there for pickup but me and the store was not busy. I was told they were still working my order. At 10 am I was still waiting and apparently they were still working on my order (which was relatively small).

After 35 minutes waiting I finally cancelled my order as I had previous engagements. 20 minutes driving each way plus gas. Not ok especially on a long weekend. Will not renew my membership and will likely shop elsewhere. It's becoming a regular experience.

Well I gave them another chance and another issue. This time when I get home I find I was charged for 20 pack of K-cups but only received a 10 pack. Always something with this store. My bad for coming back. Won't make the same mistake again.

Every week another problem. I feel like they are purposely sabotaging the PC Express program as there are issues every single time and management doesn't respond to complaints.

Found everything I wanted and then some. It’s extremely conveniently located super close to the provincial park.

Years ago this store had good product at reasonable price, but thins have changed since, now everything is about 30% more than any store some even more greed have taken over meat is awful I got 8 oz NY tougher than truck tires they say bread baked daily it's not, somedays it's more than 2 days
I don't understand how some people find it good and price ok
