Love this place! Have been going since it opened. Love getting a massage in the salt cave and chilling in the lounge. Clean with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Recently I received a Tai Massage from Luis. My experience exceeded any expectations, I tend to carry a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and I left feeling very relaxed. Luis was very professional.

My experience was not very pleasant. The therapist (Harneet) wasn’t applying proper pressure even after asking her to increase the intensity. I had booked a full body massage but she didn’t even touch my thigh/hamstrings although I had mentioned at the start that it is one of my pain point areas. The bed where I was lying was again & again making sounds (specially when she was applying pressure) which made my experience very frustrating & discomforting. Moreover it wasn’t even a warm bed considering the cold season.
I thought massages are meant to relax our body & mind, but had an otherwise experience via assigned therapist. The only good thing about my visit was the reception staff - they were very professional & cordial.

I went for a massage with a non rmt as there wasn’t an rmt available for the time I wanted to go. That being said, I’ve been going for massages for approx 15 years now and that was the worst experience of my life. Not only wasn’t it apparent that the massage therapist didn’t know what she was doing, it was extremely painful and I left worse off than when I went in. Not being registered isn’t an excuse for such poor service. I tried to explain and show more than once the area that was causing me pain and she still didn’t properly focus on the area. The place itself was decorated nice and the salt cave concept was cool but I didn’t see much benefit in that. I do not recommend this place.

I went there for the first time today for the full day experience. The service was impeccable and the spa itself is stunning. Everyone was very friendly and they put out all the stops for each guest. The services themselves were absolutely fantastic. The massage I received from Alison was the best I've ever received, ever. Highly recommend.

I was booked for a manicure. A very young young girl was assigned to my treatment. She was not properly trained, seemed unsure on whole process. Manicure was not properly done, did not last the day and I was charged $45. A spa of that quality should have competent staff.

Went to Zenbar for a Thai yoga massage done by Louise! He was great and very attentive. He pointed out the source of my back pain which none of my previous massage therapists could point out! I felt great after his massage and he even showed me some exercise I can do at home! I will definitely come back to Zenbar for another massage done by him!

My husband and I came here last Friday. I wanted to book a specific massage therapist for both of us and the salt cave for his birthday celebration. We arrived about 15 mins before our scheduled appointment, and we were seated in the waiting room with our clothes on- we were NOT offered any robes, slippers, and lockers for our items. When the massage therapist arrived, I could tell it wasn’t who I requested, and quite frankly, I hadn’t ever seen any of them there as I had gone to Zenbar before.they took us to the salt cave where the massage tables were placed in different corners of the room and asked us to change in the room. When I asked why we were not offered a locker, slipper, and robe, they said there was no time for that. Even though we had arrived 15 mins before our appointment. The massage was a joke. They didn’t find our pressure point and my massage. The therapist scratched me with her long nails and kept Pulling my hair, and you could tell she was over it. She shouldn’t be a massage therapist. She doesn’t know what she’s doing. And the same goes for my husband's therapist. He kept tapping his feet and back, and my husband told me when we finished that it was the worst massage he had ever had. I don’t know these two amateurs, but I find it has to believe they are massage therapists. Worst massage therapy experience to date! $560ish later is a waste of money, and we will NOT return here.

Louise does the healing massage there was awesome! He is a must if visiting Zenbar. Came out totally rejuvenated, all pain going in was gone. Well recommended.

Had an amazing 60 minute with Luis. Such a creative yet very effect massage. He read my body like a book and knew exactly what I needed. I’ve had massages around the world yet I’ve never experienced anything like it before. I would highly recommend the Zen Bar and more so Luis as he is such an amazing, intuitive, understanding individual.

I had a registered massage therapy appointment yesterday with Tenyca. Fantastic experience. She asked me about the pressure throughout the appointment so as to make sure I was comfortable. No adjustments necessary at any point, it was perfect. I am very pleased. Tenyca is a gem.

A relaxing and wonderful experience at Zenbar!
I had the 60 minute Thai Yoga massage with Luis. He was very attentive and informative. He personalized the massage to focus on my problem areas helping with my tension in my upper back and calves. Apart from the great relaxing massage after the session he also showed me some useful stretches I can incorporate before my workouts and in the office to help decrease the tension in my upper back.
Overall it was a positive experience. The staff are very polite and professional. Will definitely come again.

Had the worst massage I have ever had with Carlotta.

When I booked my appointment it was for a couples massage in the salt cave.

The “lounge” is a tiny seating area in which staff are constantly walking through or helping themselves to the tea / coffee. They dont smile at you just stare and walk by. Zero ambiance.

When Luis arrived at 10: 55am (massage at 11: 00am) he said - oh is this for a couples massage? He seemed confused.
I had to check my notes and said “Yes its with Carlotta”. He said oh we will have to wait for her then and walked away.

At 11: 05am he came back to get us. There were two other people in the cave quickly setting up the second massage table hastily. They obviously had no idea.

By the time we were settled and changed 11: 15am they started. And what time did they finish? 12pm on the dot - for a paid 1 hour couples massage. Thats insulting.

Let me tell you about Carlotta.

She LEFT the massage to use the washroom? Never had that happen. Ruins the vibe! Multiple times she was asked for more pressure she did not change her ways. It was like my husband was made of glass absolutely no technique or pressure.

She rubbed lotion all over my husbands back only to throw the blanket on top of it. How does that make sense? She puts her fingers on pressure points but doesnt use any pressure like she is holding a fragile butterfly. My husband was so mad it was like the massage got worse as time went by.

I brought up my concerns to the Assistant Manager who said she would update my husbands profile to ensure he is not booked with her again.

No apology or remorse - just said that “Carlotta has been here a long time”

We will not be back again based on how our experience was and zero compensation for what we experienced.

From all the amazing reviews I saw I was shocked at the experience we had.

Had the most luxurious facial by Pam today. Such a knowledgeable and talented professional. I went in with dehydrated and patchy skin. Came out plumped and glowing. The absolute best! Can’t wait for my next visit!

Had the best relaxing time. The ambiance, staff and the environment is perfect! If you want a luxury spa getaway I definitely recommend this place. My husband and I enjoyed our time here and would definitely go back?

Had a great and luxurious facial with Pam after a few weeks from giving birth. She was so excellent and knew exactly what my skin needed. She recommended some great products as well. Love the place. Will definitely be coming back.

Just had an absolutely wonderful massage with RMT Alex (Alexandria). She is strong! She did a great job getting into the giant knots between my neck and shoulders. She did some great leg work too. Overall a fantastic massage

I went into Zenbar for a hydrofacial with Paola. She and the front staff are so amazing and sweet. My skin has never been so glowy, it looks amazing. I highly recommend coming to Zenbar for this service as well as the atmosphere!

Luis is so amazing and knowledgeable. Ive struggled with nerve and muscle pain and I’ve never had anyone fix my pain and target every spot until I had Luis. I would highly suggest Luis for your next massage.

I sent my wife in for a service. Not only was she given attitude by the girl with blonde hair at the desk she was forgotten in "the lounge" please be more attentive. It ruined her day.

Probably the worst massage I ever got in my life. I didn't say anything there as I did not want the massage for free nor I am not trying to shade the masseuse and her getting paid the hour of her time. I am writing this review to let people know, do not be fooled by the fancy outside. It is over priced and truly far from anything worth your time. Sort reviews to show the lowest and you'll see the same types of review over again. Don't think I've been more stressed after a massage then walking into one

A friend of my bestie suggested I check out this place so I gave them a try but will not be returning back again. We had an appointment on Sunday at 12: 45 for a 60 minutes couple massage and we were there by 12: 35. As a first time visitor, they wanted us to complete their forms, one form each that took us 10 minutes to complete. I should have been told at the time of my telephone reservation that there are forms to compete (the least I would have expected from a luxury spa) so I know what to expect and I’m prepared when I arrive. To be filling up forms when I had paid for the time was disappointing. When the masseuse came to call us we were working away on our forms and by the time she came back again it was 12: 50. They took us to the salt cave and with the change of clothes the massage started at 12: 55. I paid $163.28 each for a massage that ended at 1: 45 (total 50 minutes worth) so I literally ended up paying to complete their forms.

The massage: although I asked my masseuse to apply more pressure she kept reverting back to her original pressure. I tried to relax during the massage but she kept calling my name 7 to 8 times in between either to let me know she is pulling my finger or my hand or putting a towel under my head. However I noticed that the masseuse that my partner got was more silent and the only time she spoke was to ask if the pressure was right.

Altogether a disappointing experience! My friend who recommended the place asked how it was since she wanted to give it a try but given our experience she isn’t going back there either.

Zenbar is the perfect place if you want to spend some me time to relax and recharge. The ambience is exactly like it's name, zen, calm and quiet. Luke was absolutely amazing, giving the hot stone massage and the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been supporting Zenbar for a few years now, even during the pandemic however they’ve lost some of the best masseuses and my experience has not been the same, staff is okay nothing special. I’ve now switched to an eastern massage spa and have been extremely happy.

I was so excited to try this place. It is beautiful and had a good ambiance. That was until my massage started. One of the worst massages I’ve ever had. The RMT did not respond well to any of my body cues, I then verbally told her several times my concerns and what I preffered. She spent an hour doing the same movement digging her elbow and forearms into my body, and when she finally used her hands her thumb nail would dig into me. My eyes were wide open the whole massage. I was in shock that out of all the places I’ve been to this fancy beautiful spa was the place that gave me the worst massage at the highest price. Very disappointed.

I had a couples massage in the salt cave with my sister for her birthday. This was the most expensive massage I have ever had but it was the worst massage. I went in because I’ve had upper back pain and a stiff neck. I was so looking forward to my massage. I would not go back. Furthermore, our massage was booked from 6pm - 7pm. The massage therapists did not come and get us until after 6: 00pm. We then had to get changed and leave our clothes under the massage table. By the time the massage began it was probably 6: 10pm and they finished the massage right at 7: 00pm. I think the massage should be exactly an hour and not 50 minutes. My massage therapist was literally karate chopping my body. My sisters massage therapist sounded like he was trying to hold in a cough the entire massage. Very disappointed.

Positives:
-massage was well done. Masseuse took non-verbal cues well and always asked about pressure/comfort.
-staff took their time when completing services, didn't feel rushed.
-quick pay process. Didn't have to wait long to leave.
-staff friendly, helpful.
Negatives:
-Small waiting room: I went on a busy weekend, so there were more people waiting then there was room to sit. Lots of coats spread out on the seats as well.
-Some patrons were talking loudly on their phones, which made the space feel less relaxing.
-Some of the furniture and linens are suffering from wear and tear.

Overall, services are great, but the atmosphere could be better.

Bought a Caramel pumpkin body bliss body scrub while it was on special as a birthday present for myself. The studio was clean, with a peaceful ambience (not a candlelit room though as described on the package). Unfortunately, the treatment itself felt rushed and not thorough. The one hour session did not start on time and yet it ended early. I would have to ask around for a better aesthetician if I intend to go back.but for now I am better off going to another spa.

First time here today. We arrived 10 min late due to traffic.we were expecting the message to be 50 min but they only did 40 min. Normally I wouldn't be so picky over 10 min but we spent quite a lot of money for this massage so it did pinch me a little.

Massage was good, I told the messusse to put more effort in my back & shoulder blades but he focused more towards the entire body. That extra 10 min would have covered some extra areas in the back which were needed but oh well.

I'm not 100% sure if I'll be coming again. Maybe if their prices were a little more reasonable then yes. Overall it was still a very nice experience

I had a great experience at Zenbar Oakville right from walking in the door and being checked in by the front desk staff. I had Luke as my massage therapist for my session and he was great! Would definitely recommend this place for some self pampering.

I had a gift certificate for a massage. They spent the time to ask me my needs and concerns. The facility was lovely, very serene and peaceful. My masseuse was great. I will return for another. Thank you.

I had chronic pain in shoulders and back due to repetitive motions made at work. I booked a 60 minute massage with Mike as it was the first available spot on my day off (tbh my comfort is normally with a female therapist). He was professional, kind and made me feel very comfortable. I was so impressed with the techniques he used to elevate my pain! I am sitting in my car writing this review with my range of motion back and so much less pain. I highly recommend Mike as a registered therapist. For those like me, apprehensive about a male therapist, don’t be! He was a pro. As for the spa in general; staff is friendly, easy to book online, cute lounge to wait in, clean and relaxing environment. Highly recommend!

Response- Hi, shocked how you didn’t find anyone by the name “Tanya”, I was literally there on October 20th for a 3pm appointment. Ask your staff how many times I reached out in the last 3 days asking them for a receipt. After I finished the massage, the receptionist said she would send it to my email in 5 minutes. I waited until next day and called in and they told me that since I booked through Groupon they cannot provide a RMT receipt which is understandable but they said they can still send me a receipt for the message. I called thrice and I still haven’t received it. While all the staff are respectable, this is not acceptable. Either say you cannot provide a receipt or just email as promised. It’s been 4 days now and I haven’t received it.

Also, instead of being so defensive with reviews, maybe try putting the same effort into improving your service and training your staff better. Advertised as a luxury spa, not anywhere close to it. It’s a shame that there is no space in the room to leave your stuff in a “luxury” spa. Most of the equipment looked very old and rundown in general. Although this was the most expensive place I found on Groupon, I booked thinking the experience was going to be better than other places but I was completely wrong. Better to go with other places offering the same for a much better price. I booked a 60 min session plus scalp massage which they said was going to be an additional 10min. They finished both the things in 50mins. So I basically paid more and received less than what I paid for. The massage therapists were really nice but the massage experience itself was very average. Overall, bad experience. Won’t return to this over priced place. Thanks

Did facial, massage and pedicure. Everything else was great except for the massage. Definitely not worth the money with the masoos. She did not put enough pressure even though I asked for it many times. It felt more like I was being gently touched.

Great spa, amazing couples massages in the salt cave, Krysta is amazing! Only thing is the check in and apt booking process could be a bit smoother, but we will give them a pass as they are all super friendly and helpful.

I’ve been to Zenbar many times but it seems to have gone downhill. Most recently I booked a couples massage and verified in my original email and my confirmation email that we would have two female therapist. Both times that was confirmed.
On the day of the message we found we had a male therapist which neither my husband and I were comfortable with. This was addressed with the team and we proceeded but it was not enjoyable. There was no where to leave your clothes so we had to place on the floor. What happened to the lockers and robes? !
That was a silly mistake which no one addressed. Upon coming out the front desk girls were discussing another client in a negative fashion.
I could not wait to leave and won’t be returning.

I've been to the Zenbar a few times in the last few years but I probably won't be going back there again. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it's "meh" all around. This is not a spa or anything close to it. Spas in Toronto will give you access to some basics such as robes, lockers, sauna, pool, basic refreshments (coffee/tea) etc. In the ZenBar, none of these things are available, or of they are they're dysfunctional and out of service.

I went in for a massage for my birthday, the lady was nice enough and we talked a few minutes at the onset. The massage was good but everything before that and after was just nonexistent with virtually zero hospitality.

I was also always put off by an establishment like this being in a strip plaza, always felt out of place as the interior looks like a real estate office converted to look relaxing. I also like to have an experience that's memorable rather than mediocre. I won't be going back.

The woman that did the job was excellent but the experience of a mani and pedi was like anywhere else.the description on their site makes it sound like it's over the top.the chair goes right back, so.really not a big deal.this was over priced. I know you can get just as good for a lot less.

Unforgettable experience at this day spa!

I got a 60 min massage in the salt cave with Anthony and it was a style of massage I had never experienced before. He listened to my body and used these incredible release techniques! Jenna did my facial and it was so relaxing; my face was glowing after! The spa uses Skin Ceuticals which I am obsessed with. I was also able to use my WaySpa gift card and they provided an RMT receipt. Prices are on the higher end but it is to be expected based on the location and the level of the facility.

Gorgeous establishment, clean, friendly staff & an adorable shop through out. Will definitely be back!

I came here so many times, and I decided to never come back again cause of their bad administration system, they cancel my appointment cause they don’t have an update credit card in their system even I booked the appointment long time ago and they never mentioned that before, and they didn’t even respect that I’ve been a client for a very long time who never miss any appointment!
So I went for my appointment and when I arrived they simply told me they had canceled my appointment and left a voice message the night before! Why didn’t you bother to send an email or tell me when I initially booked with you! I thought their call a reminder for the appointment as usual.
And one time before they made a mistake in redeeming my gift card and didn’t bother to inform me despite their confirmation email that they redeemed it and got the full amount and at check out ask me to pay with my credit card!
Really bad administration and bad system!
Bottom line I’ll never come back

My friend and I came in for side by side massages. We enjoyed our experience, and found the staff to be kind, professional and experienced. We would definitely come back for additional services.

A. MAY. ZING! Let me tell you, all my covid stress landed in my shoulders and I walked out feeling like jello. I will never get a massage anywhere else! From the first phone call to the moment we were done my spouse and I were so satisfied. We did the couples massage in the salt cave, which might i add was a nice touch to the overall experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. I am not one to be comfortable being undressed around strangers but RMT made me feel so relaxed and respected. I will definitely go back and have already referred them to my friends and family!

This was my first massage experience at Zenbar and it will not be my last! The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is lovely. My RMT was Martin and it was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend.

This is the second time I have went to Zenbar. The first time was a half day spa including massage and I said I would never go back because I was so disappointed. Then I became desperate today, on a Sunday, unbearable neck pain. Zenbar had an opening and I have to say PHILIP LUU is INCREDIBLE. I have had probably a hundred massages in my life and he is the best masseuse I have ever met. Talks enough to make you comfortable but knows when to stop and let you enjoy the quiet. Technique was perfect I walked out with my headache mostly relieved and more mobility back in my neck. He is only in on Wednesdays and weekends and I am sure is in high demand. I will be back in a few weeks! Thanks Philip!

Zenbar is my go-to for massages, and has been for years! The salt cave is the ultimate experience + all the added benefits from the cave itself. Staff are very polite and knowledgeable, and the facilities are always clean and kept well.

This was our first time at Zenbar and it definitely won’t be our last! I surprised my husband for his birthday with a massage in the salt cave and I received a pedicure. He absolutely loved it. Total relaxation. My pedicure was perfection. Olivia is amazing! She was friendly, polite and meticulous. Her foot massage was out of this world. Even while adhering to all covid health and safety policies, Zenbar still managed to make us feel relaxed and spoiled. Customer service at the front reception area was wonderful too. So polite and professional. We can’t wait to come back!

Not an enjoyable experience, especially for a “high end spa. ” I had lots to write but it seems that my review is not getting posted but here are some pointers:
-there was a long top to bottom mirror in the massage room on the wall and the massage table/my head was pointing directly towards the mirror (so once the covers are lifted up for me to roll over, the massage therapist can basically look in the mirror and see me)
-there is no where to put your clothes
-the massage therapist did not use appropriate draping technique- she literally lifted up the covers to take my hand out - did she see anything?
-my massage therapist for the first time caused a Charlie horse in my feet

Easy to book an appointment. Professional, friendly staff and my therapist Krista was top notch. She asked the right questions to ascertain what I needed. She delivered a great massage. She applied the right pressure and within minutes I was in a deep state of relaxation. I’m sure I’ll be visiting her again. The studio was very inviting and I can’t wait to experience the full service offering when restrictions are lifted.

EDIT:
I’ve noticed whenever someone leaves you feed back that isn’t positive you get extremely defensive, take this feed back and apply it to making your business better. I have good reviews and bad reviews on businesses, I always post under a different name but I would be more than happy to give you my details and when I was at Zenbar, my friend also came with me and had the same service and was also disappointed.

The outside looks great. Disappointed on the inside, I found it actually dirty, very dusty in the front, I used the bathroom and the garbage was legit overflowing, the girls at the front were more interested in talking to one another, the massage was good, not great. I personally won’t be returning, for the price they charge it definitely isn’t worth it.

The RMTS here are good but the customer service is just appalling. My wife and I have been going here for years and combined we spend multiples of hundreds of dollars a month at this place.

I called to ask for a copy of our receipt (just once) and the response I got was that there would be a $5 administrative fee for this for just emailing it me. When I asked why it would cost money to email it to me, I was told it was to compensate the RMT for re-writing the receipt. I couldn't understand this as I have been emailed receipts in the past. I also seriously doubt the RMT gets $5 for spending 30 seconds to write a receipt and I suspect that management is pocketing this.

I can't believe they would nickel and dime a loyal, regular customer in this manner. This experience has soured me and I would not recommend a place that treats loyal, devoted customers in this manner.

I just would like to share with you guys about this place. I got absolutely amazing experience with Massage Therapyst (Wen Xia Pan and Martin) It was gorgeous feeling after massage, that you want to come back again. They are doing such as beautiful work. ‍️‍️

I was at Zenbar this past weekend celebrating my birthday with 3 friends. We booked the salt cave massage and were utterly disappointed. We had to place our clothes, jacket and purse on the dusty floor as there wasnt even a small table or hook in the room. My friend asked for a cup of water before the massage and the response was " the water is on the other side of the studio". I even spoke up and asked for more pressure but my masseuse was not interested in the service whatsoever. It seemed like she was forced to be there. For $150 each, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I loved the Jade Stone Relaxation Massage, and look forward to rebooking it. Claudia was great. One star off because I'm particular about ambiance: I could hear people talking loudly in the hall at one point. I would also have liked if the room music was slower/more tranquil.
