My husband and I got married last September and we wholeheartedly could not be any happier that we chose ZiMakes! From the very first meeting, Jhos and Zim were incredibly charming and genuinely likeable. There were a few personal requests that we wanted to include for our wedding, and they were very accommodating and even tailored their base package to ensure our wedding day was extraordinarily special. I have always been very camera shy, but between the engagement/adventure shoot and the actual wedding day, Zim made me feel super comfortable while shooting. The directives and guidance he provided during our shoots made both of us loosen up and laugh, and made me feel so much more at ease. Not only are they very responsive, Jhos and Zim both made a genuine effort to connect with us, get to know us both as individuals and as a couple, and develop and nurture friendships with us. The entire process working with the ZiMakes team was extremely pleasant, but watching the final films really cemented our decision to put our trust in Jhos and Zim! Their videos truly captured all of the candid moments and raw emotions we felt throughout the day. Thanks to ZiMakes, my husband and I have beautiful videos to share with our friends and family to relive our special day.

Zim and Jhos were an absolute pleasure to work with. When my wife and I initially started wedding planning, we knew from the start to trust Zimakes Films with being able to capture our wedding that would make us relive one of the most important days of our lives. Before we had chosen our videographer, my now wife watched just about every wedding video on Zim and Jhos’ website, and shed a tear to each one. This is the power of their editing and story telling, they put so much care and thought into really telling your story more than just recapping your wedding. Now that we’ve received our wedding video, in a very reasonable turn around time I might add, we are so thrilled with how they told our story and how our video turned out. Friends and family we’ve shown it to are awed at the quality. We can’t wait to watch it over and over as the years go by to relive such important moments in our life.

We can’t recommend ZiMakes Films highly enough. Zim and Jhos are truly brilliant artists, filmmakers and storytellers. They brought artistry as well as support, empathy and friendly humor to the whole process of our wedding. Weddings can be quite stressful and throughout each meeting and every moment they were filming, my husband and I felt extremely grateful knowing they were there. Their work we have gotten so far was filmed and edited so beautifully and true to both us as a couple and our family. We came in with high standards and they have exceeded them. We have gotten numerous compliments from guests who have seen the work so far. We can't wait for the rest of the final product videos! They went beyond anything we could have asked for and out of all our vendors, they were essential and definitely one of our favorites. Thank you to both of them!

Best videographer ever! My wedding was in Montreal, Quebec and I knew they was located in Toronto. I took the chance to contact him, I knew as soon as I saw their work on Instagram that I wanted to work with them. My instinct was not deceived, the results were magical. I recommend it to 10000%

When we started wedding planning, we knew that we wanted videographers that could capture
emotions and the most intimate moments with our family and friends rather than a highlight just focusing on us. I came across Zimakesfilms on instagram, got on a call with them and in the first 10 minutes, it all just fell into place. We had spoken with so many vendors but in those first few minutes with Jhos and Zim, we knew we could trust them completely to bring our vision to life. I could never say enough about Zim and his incredible Team (including his partner Jhos)! They are without a doubt, the best Wedding Videographers in all of Eastern Canada. My wife and I have incredibly high standards, and reached out to Zim in Toronto to ask if they would come all the way to Montreal for our special day. Not only did they interview US to qualify our intentions, but they were honorable with their word Years before the event would take place (due to Covid). Zim and Jhos were an absolute pleasure to work with and that is an understatement. From the very beginning they have been extremely professional, approachable, and responsive to emails in a timely manner. They made a conscious effort to get to know my husband and I (and our history as a couple) via video chats, in order to understand our ideas and expectations, and how to best capture our wedding day.

They have a remarkable eye for detail and storytelling, and are truly talented at what they do. My husband and I are quite camera shy and were concerned how we would turn out on film, however we both felt very comfortable around Zim and Jhos; nothing ever felt contrived, and the final film was more than we imagined. Our intimate, traditional wedding was captured so beautifully.

We initially contacted many videographers who we later felt were not a good fit for us, until we came across Zimakesfilms on IG and were in utter awe of their work. We instantly knew we needed to have them for our big day, but what we discovered from getting to know them is that they are amazing human beings and a complete joy to be around as well. We recommend them to anyone who is looking for phenomenal videographers who genuinely care about you and your wedding day. You simply can’t go wrong with Zim and Jhos:)

ZimakesFilms was amazing for us, we had so much trouble with covid 19 restrictions and rescheduling, we actually had to move wedding and reception 3 times! They were lovely, flexible and were able to accommodate all these changes quite quickly and only charged us extra for the travel fee. They did not charge us any exorbitant covid-19 fees and tried to work as best they could to be available for the rescheduled dates. They made us feel comfortable while we felt awkward and helped make wonderful memories. They also gave instructions when they had inspirations on what was a cool shot (which we definitely needed) Highly recommend. J and YK
