We have been dealing with Zuccarini for over 20 years from when we were in the restaurant business to the present. We worked with Mike during that time and Edward recently. It has always been a great experience every time we go in. We recently bought a new espresso machine and from start to finish it was nothing but positive. We will always be back.

9 years ago my husband and I came to Zuccarini to learn how to make espresso, we took a class with Edward. This barista class blew our fresh and unprejudiced minds: we have discovered the whole new world, the world of espresso. Of course we immediately bought a machine and grinder, which we have loved dearly since then (Pasquini Livietta with dual thermoblock). All these years we feel happy every time we visit Zuccarini, whether it is for a scheduled service or a new accessory, and finally today - for a new, more sophisticated semi-commercial machine, Vivi by Izzo.

I’m writing this review to share my experience with Zuccarini in buying my new espresso machine. TLDR, they’re great and I love my new Izzo Alex PID!

Savvy café owners know that their espresso equipment is a lot like a car when it comes to choosing a brand and a dealer. They will have learned the importance of understanding all aspects of the lifecycle before entering into a long-term relationship.

Home users may not realize this until sometime after their purchase, when they question the wisdom of their choice and/or have to find a distant place to haul their machine for repair and then wait weeks without their morning beverage of choice. Well, I didn't when I made my first purchase over 20 years ago, but I've learned.

At the Zuccarini showroom at Davenport and Dufferin, I received in-depth equipment advice and demonstrations, as well as training on how to best use and care for the equipment. Their in-house service department tested my machine prior to delivery and will provide in-house service during and after the warranty period. Their heritage in commercial and residential espresso sales and service is second to none in Toronto, and I found their showroom staff and service personnel to be attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend them for espresso equipment of all types and complexities.

I bought a home-use espresso machine from here recently. I have no coffee-making experience, so I'm really glad I bought my machine from Zuccarini, because they put a lot of effort into helping me get started and training me to use and maintain my machine, and gave me helpful resources that they created themselves. The store seems to have a long experience with coffee/espresso machines and a lot of knowledge.

Everyone we met at the shop was nice, but I'll speak a bit especially about Edward and George because they were the people who helped me directly, and who really stood out to me as humans. Once they knew about my lack of experience with coffee, they were both generous with their time and help. They never made me feel stupid. They answered all kinds of questions really deeply. I still had a couple of questions and hiccups with my machine after buying it, and they were just as nice to me afterwards as they were before. They've encouraged me to rely on their support in the future.
This is probably the nicest sales experience I've had. It really seems like their priority is making sure I'm going to love my machine, and that they take a lot of joy in seeing that happen.
