Bombay cuisine Charlottetown

Came with a group of 8 people, hoping to spend more than 200 dollar for the dinner. As soon as we entered, the server says they going to charge 10 % of the bill as service charge. Sounded ridiculous. They would have made money on the food they are serving and the tip we would have given them for catering to my family. Unfortunately we will not be coming back.

Absolutely best Indian food I have had on this continent, and consistently good. Great staff with butter chicken that tastes homemade.

I don’t recommend for pranthas, they use frozen veggie in prantha, dough is not fresh at all

Dont order any pranthas here and worst taste for pranthas. Just making fool us and customers service dont know how do to deal here

Worst service waited over hour to get our order, wanted mild food but still was super spicy aslo cutlery was not clean, have to ask for another plates

This restaurant in my neighbourhood has been my go-to take out since it opened! All the veg dishes are really wonderful. My favourite here is the dal mahkni. Kids love it too! Restaurant atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, but the food does always seem to make up for it. Not recently, but in the past the quality of the dishes varied a bit between orders, but I’ve noticed lately more consistency. The food was always tasty, just not always the same as whatever we’d ordered last time. They’ve also upgraded their takeout containers which I was really happy about (used to be styrofoam). We sometimes just bring our own containers for takeout. Lots of GF items and several Vegan options that are all delicious. GF is very clearly indicated on the menu (thanks!).

The food is really delicious here! It’s authentic Indian food! Taste is just like the restaurants in India n it’s really hard to find the exact taste here! So, kudos to Bombay Cuisine Restaurant!

Worst experience ever in PE. They don’t cooperate with their customers and behave so rudly with us

We went in for dine in at 8.45pm. There were 2 customers waiting for dine in before us and there were so many tables empty. We always eat from there but this time it was our friends' birthday and we even requested the staff girls.but they were so rude and said we cannot do anything.
Worst customer service.

It was my sisters’ birthday and I requested the girls but they just denied for dine in even there were 3 tables empty. It seemed like they did not want to serve more customers. Very rude and arrogant staff.

We got garlic naan and Shahi paneer, the food was so delicious and the service was also nice and fast. I would say the best place to get the Indian food in pei. Must try:)

Staff is so rude and unhelpful. There were 3 tables empty and we went there at 8.45 pm. They denied giving table to us saying that dine in close at 9.10pm. There customer service really sucks.

This is a very reliable restaurant high quality food reasonable price and amazing friendly staff

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant.

When we think about celebrations, BOMBAY CUISINE is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding.

Visited second and last time. Ordered 4 items.all were served gradually one by one.naan came before than had to request three times for paneer because you will not have naan alone.at last had to get up without getting served.everyone who came later than we placed order was served before us

Recently, I have visited Bombay cuisine on the recommendation made by one of my friends. The dishes were yummy, and I was able to get the real taste of India

I had a great time at your restaurant, atmosphere was awesome. It's highly recommended. Food is so tasty, especially the staffs are wonderful, sweet and always working so hard.

Food quantity is good. We asked for medium spicy - but got super spicy food. Waiting time is less comparatively.

Probably the best butter chicken I've ever eaten. Full of flavour and spice and the ginger is a great touch to it.

Food is really good and delicious. But today we ordered fried rice but found noodles in it for free lol. We didn’t order it. Is it that they are using the same box or don’t know what happened but it’s bit disappointing: (. Rest everything is fine.

It was really good experience. We ordered noodles manchurian and it was nicely cooked and rich in taste. Love from SJ New bruswick.

We ordered chowmin with Manchurian and mentioned normal authentic Indian spice but to our shock it was loaded with spices to the extend that I had literally 5 glasses of water just by eating 2 spoons of it. On mentioning it, I was told this is Indian spicy. My reply is - I am a Punjabi and an Indian and very well know what spice is all about.don’t excuse yourself by covering everything under the name of spice. Indian food has flavours which is made from balanced spice and not just overload of red chillies. They made another round of meal but by then mouth was all Burnt from inside. We were didn’t made it a big issue as we saw there other clients who were entering and as we support locals. So own it up instead of giving excuses. The server had 0 remorse on her face.a big NO

We asked for.medium like we usually do when we go to Indian food places have don't have a problem eating it. The server was great and when we asked him for the bill he got upset of why we didn't tell him when he saw we only ate a quorter of our meals it was ridiculously hot and he offered to remake then but my stomach was turning and I just felt like leaving at that point we always ask for medium and have no problem with it. Throughout the night I only got around three hours sleep because I was vomiting and had diarrhea All night it was horrible and I missed work today because of this. My experience with the service was excellent but the food not so much.

It was really nice experience at restaurant as the boy who was working at front was very nice as well as all cuisines were well cooked and delicious. Appreciation is must for hard working employees who are working in this pandemic.

I had heard from other islanders that this was the best spot for Indian food in Charlottetown and it did not disappoint! Stopped in to this restaurant for the first time this evening and it was AMAZING! I ordered Butter Chicken with Paneer naan and both were delicious. The service was fantastic, I will definitely be back very soon to try more of their menu items.

Simply Wow food! Whatever we had was simply amazing. Chole Bhature was next level, reminds me of Dilli ke chole bhature. Dhabha daal was simply too good and butter chiken was yum (perfect texture of gravy). Masala chai was fantastic. Full marks.

First but definitely not my last visit to this wonderful Indian restaurant. The samosas were delicious and generously filled. The side sauces were sooo good. Chicken Tandoori was moist and flavorful. I've been craving rice and that was great too. Would absolutely recommend.

Had visited this place couple of months back and ordered shahi paneer it was worst i ever had the gravy was not cooked and all spices were raw. Told server to let cook know. Visited again today and no improvements. Ordered another item malai kofta and guess what the worst kofta in life same problems. Thought it would have improved. Will probably never visit again and will also not recommend if you want good taste try different place. Cook needs to learn how to cook

My kid went intestinal problem follwed by heavy fever for 2days, after having lamb briyani from there. We too felt stomach upset after that. Not a good place for briyani. Hope other dishes are good. We are not going there again.

Our first visit to this small, spartan place. The menu items we tried were all exceptionally good. The chef/owner has worked in Charlottetown for years at another restaurant and it shows. Portion sizes were generous and nicely presented. We will be back.

Food was great when they started.
But now its just not good anymore.
Maybe they have changed their cook.

Nice Veg. Food options. Ordered Veg. Manchurian w gravy with fried rice and noodles, nice quantity and quality. We were served quickly and it tastes good as well. Customer service was good as well. We were so fond of the taste that we ordered same dish for consecutive two days during our stay in Charlottetown.

Visited the “Bombay Cuisine ” Restaurant second time and still got the same problem.
They didn’t took the whole order properly and when the order came.it was missing 2 items.
We told the server about that and she argued in response that we didn’t ordered the items that were missing. We also order a drink and it didn’t came even after we finished dining

Great service, atmosphere, and AMAZING food. The owners son was very kind when I first visited and the other servers I've had have been just as delightful! Hope to see this business do well! Best Indian I've had in my life, and I've had some good Indian: P wish I had a restaurant like this in my home town!

When you are in service industry, it is expected you should know by default whats on your menu. DONT HUNG up on your customer when you put them on hold for long 10 mins. ZERO RATING for professionalism, I wont be surprise if food quality turn up like your service.

Seeing the restaurant's infrastructure, I felt like I was in India. Butter chicken and masala chai was so delicious and especially that elaichi flavour in chai. Good job!
