Very friendly and helpful staff. We are on a Bucket-list trip to Newfoundland from Manitoba. Chose this camp ground as our "home base" to explore PEI. It's a rainy week. The campground has a full spectum of sites and amenities. Open pull throughs (water and power) and treed more private sites (unserviced). Large bathrooms with a shower, beach and wood for sale 24hrs at the office (also 24hr). Lots of families from all over canada. We came on a Monday and left on a Thursday. Lots of open sites, use the PEI website to check & reserve a site or show up to drive by sites showing availability for your dates before choosing. We liked site 103. Try it if your in the area especially with kids. (We didn't have kids just eachother?).
PEI is really easy to travel and see.

Great beach for the family. Saw crabs, white moon jelly fish, cormorants and schools of fish. Spent hours walking and swimming in the water.

Quelle magnifique plage!

This is a beautiful provincial park. Lots of sites. Lots of green space, playground for the kids, but the best is the beach! We’ll be back again to spend more time here!

Best beach in the area. Very warm water in August. Don't miss low tide! Camping here was a great spot with walkable beach access.

On Malpeque Bay about 30 minutes from the crowds at Cavendish. The beach here is large with shallow sandbars. The services RV sites are close together with some privacy only if you have some trees.

Absolutely love this beach! It's our go to beach! Great for small children! Beautiful!

We came here to see the lighthouse at Malpeque but ended up enjoying a stroll along the beautiful beach and watching the sunset. Mosquitoes were vicious though.

This is a great, quiet beach and you don't need a park pass like many beaches on the Island

Expensive, bad customer service and the whole place is mosquito infested. We have fly nets in our van and still whenever you go in or out a bunch of mosquitoes get in. We tried to set up camp and instantly got eaten, so we wanted to change sites, have to pay an extra 3$ just for that, even though we had been to the first site like 10 minutes and hadn’t set anything up or touched anything there. Worst customer service ever. Can’t get a refund either. It’s really expensive in the first place, over 40$ for one night without service. Would recommend to stay at the Cavendish Campground instead, just 22$, friendly customer service and not many bugs.

Nice park! Went in June and it was free, clean and pretty. The first time I went at 6 it was closed even thought they close at 9 but it was open the next few days so it was likely an off day.

We showed up to the campground and there were nothing but mosquitos. The second we got out of the car to check in, we were eaten alive. When we went to our camp site, we noticed that half the grounds were under construction and we were the only tenters. Wish we were told prior about the construction as we weren’t even allowed to go close to the water/beach! We ended up leaving and finding another campsite, knowing how miserable we would be. Hoping we can get a refund for our awful arrival.
Went down the road to another campsite and it’s heaven over here! Would not recommend Cabot Beach.

Beautiful park. Great place to see island. Beautiful walking / hiking trails with look out to see the red cliffs of PEI. Can watch fishing boats come and go. Pretty beach to walk and play on. Swimming is good (but is know for its currents and undertoes). Has bathrooms that are very clean. Have a nice play park area with a few picnic tables and benches. There is a nice size gazebo and open green area. Photos below are when the tide was super low. This is one of our favourite places to go when we are in PEI.
