Bought 2 bidet seats and had Home Hardware install them, problems with both, 1 replaced and problems with it. Dealing with them has been a disaster, 2 reps should clearly be fired. 4 months and still not working. 1 rep refused to return calls and the other says its not her job. The bidets do not clean, no hot water, and air dryer does not work properly.

The paint section was crazy busy. Karen was so calm and quick to help people she even suggested another store for something I couldn’t get here. Staff seemed to work together well good quality paint. AGAIN PEI people are soooooo nice!

This store has some of the most experienced, knowledgeable and helpful staff you could ever imagine to find in a building supply store. One time the fella at the plumbing counter called in to a contact he had at Emco to hook me up with a free toilet part to replace the one I had inadvertently broken. David Pearce helped me design a playhouse for my daughters four years ago, and supported me throughout the project. Every time he’s helped me with something since I feel like I have some kind of hardware store VIP pass. Thanks for being an excellent PEI business Callbecks!

Been going there for years. Lumber, flooring, snow blower, lawnmower and care products and very helpful employees.

Horrible customer service. Estimator forgot to return call with requested pricing. Wrong info provided at order desk with respect to available materials. Lumber yard staff don't respond to order desk intercom requests even when standing around doing nothing. Calls not made to let you know that ordered products have arrived. If ever there was a place in need off a shake-up by the store manager, this one is it.

On wed. I went into home hardware with a big problem they the staff in paint dept. Helped me solve my problem they were very informed and understanding when I came out I had the supplies to fix my problem today I am very happy my problem is gone Thank You So Much great service paint dept.

Got there 4 mins before closing and they found what I was looking for and I was out in 3 minutes

I grew up going to this store my entire 30 + years on this planet. I even had them renovate my home. For the first time ever I was so uncomfortable with 2 women following me everywhere watching me like a hawk as if i was gonna steal. I'm sorry to publicy share this experience, and with the masks I may not have been recognized as a familiar customer, I just wanted your business to know I walked out feeling sad about how this stalkeratzi was eye balling me. No hard feelings though I will always support callbacks. It's a shame to work in an environment thinking customers are out to steal your goods. #idlenomore

In this time of the Covid19 pandemic, Callbeck’s Home Hardware there are no hand sanitizer when entering the store! Saw no one of the associates wearing mask, no arrows in the very narrow shopping isle. That needs to change!

Best hardware store in Summerside. Excellent customer service and a wide assortment of building supplies and everyday household goods.

Normally this is a friendly place to shop. My wife was looking for a certain item in the store, that she saw they had in stock on the website. The man that she was directed to was rushed and standoffish. She had mentioned that the website said there was one in stock and he told her that they keep it at 1 when they are out of stock? If that's true, then it's misleading. He said that the thing she was looking for was a "trinket" the dollar store would carry. But clearly this place had carried them also, when in stock. She went to two other hardware stores, where she found one and had people that actually wanted to help. This guy was having a bad day and it was deflecting onto the customer.not a good experience!

I went there to get some paint mixed. The staff is not only friendly, but very experienced, proffessionnal and efficient. Even though the same brand which I had purchased many years ago was no longer in circulation, the employee was still able to match the color almost 100%. The cashiers are always friendly.

Very friendly staff always ready to help you out and they know there stuff, they also can take a joke plus I can take my little dog in and they will look after him for a few minutes while I get what I need. Love shopping there.

Great service, went in having some questions about plumbing and was helped right away with a quick solution that was exactly what I needed!

People orientated. Service, time to chat, help search for your items, mannerly and if employee does not know the answer finds someone who does. Community minded.

Very clean and well organized store. The staff is very polite and always willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. Just recently I went there to find replacement cartridges for my shower faucet. Everyplace I went before said the faucet was old and the cartridges were no longer made. Ivan in the plumbing department was able to find them being made by a third-party and got them for me in a couple days. He saved me from having to spend hundreds of dollars on a new shower unit.

Had to get new mattresses for our bunk beds their prices were more than half of what everyone else was offering. Called in the morning and picked up an hour later everyone was very helpful!

Prices and service are second to none - product selection is really great. Lots of items to choose from, especially flooring selection!

Always more than happy with the service and the guys on the back desk really seem to know their business.
