I was at Charlottetown store today and had the pleasure of a very nice young man wait on me at customer service. He really went above and beyond to help me with a return. He was so pleasant it made my trip that much better. I really wish I had got his name so he could get a big shout out.

Canadian tire has what you need and what you don’t! If you need something, you can usually bet that Canadian Tire has it in stock. If you don’t need anything and just want to do a bit of shopping you can usually bet that Canadian Tire will have something that strikes your fancy! Might even be heavily discounted! The renovated store looks great.

Canadian tire is a great place, and i go there often for a lot of my needs. I mostly like to give good reviews. However, at this particular location, it seems they have told the customer service desk to be as rude as possible. There are two older women who seem to always be there, and when returning items, i absolutely DREAD the thought of seeing them. Im sure they deal with a lot of stress and stressful people, but maybe if you don't want to be there, work elsewhere in the store or elsewhere, entirely. You can do better, Canadian tire.

I bought some snares and they seem used and put back on the shelves. I still bought them as they were needed.

Yet another smooth curbside pickup order today. They answered the phone quickly and within minutes we're bringing the stuff to my vehicle. I've had good service many times now on curbside pickup. I'm happy and will continue to buy from Canadian Tire Charlottetown. Much appreciated.

Always a positive place to shop. It keeps getting better. I think having new immigrants on staff has really improved the customer experience.

Great store - lots of selection, great staff. Lots of parking. Staff was very helpful in finding what I was looking for.

My boyfriend and I went into Canadian tire Sunday to exchange the torque wrench and they had none that’s fine things happen told us to come back Tuesday as they’re getting a big truck order, we came back Friday as we both work late hours, telling us it’s not in stock and it’s still on the truck (so it was still on the truck you guys had 3 days to take everything off) n some workers didn’t even know what they were doing, and he also had a ratchet under warranty and saying not in stock for 6 months, then why put something under warranty when you don’t have the stuff and won’t give him a refund. My boyfriends definetly gonna stick with princess auto from now on.

This is by far the worst Canadian Tire location I've dealt with. Nothing is where it's supposed to be and 80 percent of the staff is useless. The don't even compete with Walmart, home depot etc, which is really sad

Sell junk and most of the stuff thy sell you can't get parts for. Staff is extremely unfriendly especially at the "Customer service counter". They treat everyone like they are dirt.

Love Charlottetown canadian tire. Wish they would expand Summerside store. Hate trying to shop there with a cart no room to maneuver

Now that the changes are pretty much complete and I'm slowly figuring out where things are again, this is my go-to store for a lot of my tools and yard equipment.

It's obviously convenient to get your car problem fixed quickly, with the parts available right away,
But when you get charged for autoparts 4-6 times of the market price I'm feeling I've just been ripped off.

UPD.just wasted my time for the call by the mentioned phone number.one star less.

Beware of slack service. You can expect to get your car back dirty, with grease inside and out! Rude counter staff, when they actually decide to wait on you!

Been a long time customer at Canadian Tire in Charlottetown, the only reason? Kenny J.is one of the best, most honest mechanics on the island and if it wasn’t for him - we wouldn’t go there. Had another one of our vehicles in for a tire changeover and oil change, couldn’t book it with Kenny - the tire tech didn’t inflate the tires properly, he “rounded up” mileage for the oil change sticker which was just lazy.

Really good staff at auto parts specially Aman is one of the best employee there he helps me alot to find a rims for my car.

This store is usually my go to for stuff when I’m at the cottage but lately it’s been a dumpster fire. Chaos! However, Lori from seasonal went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for. Despite being an employee she and I did a lot of walking, looking for items, and she eventually had to get product from the warehouse. Frustrating visit, but kudos to Lori…

They need more staff here.
Online orders shouldn't take 30-45 min to pickup.
Other than that, it's a Canadian Tire, it usually has what you're looking for.

My wife and I have a rain check for a treadmill and we been waiting for it for four months.no word yet. Very unsatisfied.

Current ongoing renovations and upgrades make shopping here currently difficult. Many aisles are closed off. Items are moved, incorrectly labeled or in the wrong place. Staff are helpful if you can find one. They are busy and trying their best, but the renovations and lack of space, with so much stock left in the aisles, make it less than ideal.

I am truck driver. I came here to delivery for store from montral. They don’t allowed truck driver use their Wash room. As they told me can you imagine how the truck driver suffers even we hauled their stuff.please be cautious this store hwy delivery driver’s. I don’t know about in side the store

Today I attended this store to make a fairly large purchase. The guys in the electronic area were more than helpful. Things started when we got to the counter where we met up with Cheryl. To say we were treated horribly is an understatment. I will call tomorrow to let them know of our experience. This lady should not deal Frontline with customers, and if speaking to people is beyond her. Then she should retire. She was rude, very abrupt and was shouting from the desk she was standing at a dressing a customer to see if they wanted to apply monies from their triangle card. If I had not dealt with the kind gents prior I'd have walked out of store leaving my purchase there. Someone needs too give Cheryl some training on customer service or move her to the warehouse.

Always have lots of stuff available but hard to find staff to assist or pricing/size information on some products

They simply forgot to put the nuts back on my tires
I lost a wheel on the parking lot when I left, damaging the whole car.
Unbelievable!

To my surprise, I found a helpful Canadian Tire employee who directed me to the right place and I found the gift of been searching for. To add to my surprise, when I got to the cash, it was half price.

Lower my rating to a one star cause of the experience I got there on Dec 20 2021. To further explain I'm not satisfied with their debit machines cause they debit card to lock and I had to pay cash, the last bit I had in my pocket, which in turn I couldn't get anything else that night that I really need like my groceries and furnace oil. So in turn I had no milk or heat for the night. I will NEVER use debit there again.

From last 2 months i am going back and forth to this store in Charlottetown but everytime i go there they tell me the product is here, but we are not able to find it come tomorrow it ahould be here. Then they told me to order the product online and pickup from store i did that twice and both of the time they gave me wrong thing is the staff blind or illiterate to see what i have ordered and what they are giving me. Horrible experience poor management.

We were looking for driveway markers and found these. Great 360 degree marker, telescopic 46 to 72" and steel metal spike. Should be able to find home now. LOL Received great help from a more senior person at the parts desk. I had asked someone on the floor and they pointed me to try aisle 15 or 16. Umm nope.
So much to see; we will be coming back for sure. Very well kept and follows Covid protocols.

Excellent service at the Automotive centre, saved three stranded New Brunswick travellers, squeezing a car repair into a busy day so they could get home. Kudos to them.

Spoke with Christen in service over the phone, while I was talking she transferred me to another department. I spoke with another lady who transferred me back to service to speak with a manager. The manager did not even apologize as if nothing happened. They need to understand that we as a customers pay for the service we get, we are not getting it for free. And everybody know that Canadian tire charge more than other shops. I guess it’s time to take my business somewhere else, but I wanted to share my experience.

Very pleased with the service I received and they had everything in stock that I was looking for.

Can occasional be hard to track down help or find someone who knows about the info/product I'm searching for. However I've had a normally nice shopping experience at this store and it's been tidy.
Nice guy working parts counter did help me find a battery on a Saturday when other parts places weren't open to find a battery that would fit in our tractor.

One star! I Used to work here. The working environment is not suitable for a sober person, so much politics between Managers, moreover FULL TIME employees barely get 25 hrs per week, WHITE PR1v1LEGE as well!

If you ever wonder that no one is helping you, it's because staff isn't treated well in this store.
I better suggest Kent building supplies, you will see more employees and less customers. Really good Customer service, Believe me! I used to work there too!

It was absolutely packed at the check out, everyone was every where. Workers push by you without saying excuse me. When we went to pick up our item around back we were waiting and waiting like they told us to (along with three other cars) so my hubby got out and rang the door bells, no one even knew we were there. Then they tried to give us a damaged item, which we said no to and finally got what we paid for.

Lately I find that only a handful of employees care to be friendly and/or help you when you need it. It's been pretty disappointing to say the least the past few years but recently it's hard to find someone who doesn't look like they hate their job or even smile and say hello.

I hate how you can not leave without buying something. OR walk behind people during covid.open up a way to walk out if you do not buy something.

Canadian Tire has always been my go to generalist store. Everything from tools and building supplies, to pet and now they have a new party supply section. It's located to the right of the entrance. 2 aisles down from pet supplies.

I had immediate and attentive service both in dealing with the Department purchase and returns and exchange department.

Absolutely love anything with a name that shouts Canadian. Always a great experience, helpful staff in all departments. Literally my go to store if i need anything that is not food. The website is a great tool to use to find out if in stock and also the location so you can find it super fast or just have it delivered.

Shopping at this store can be very dunting for me as a women. Everytime going into the parts department I don't like you either get the guy that doesn't know anything about parts or the guy that trys to tell you don't need that part and it's this part when you tell whats going on with your vichele. This store I like walking around browsing and just looking. I always look at the clearance rack because you just never know what you will find.

This place is a joke.u can never find anyone to help u. When u do they say it's not my department. Plus when call the automotive department u get put on hold. I tried calling one day 3 times and each time I was put on hold!

They carry hobby stuff for grown ups. And stuff to help adults be responsible too. But mostly the hobby stuff. I bought bits today so I could repair an Xbox controller. Excellent!

Sure, it probably has what you need, but the staff don't know it. And neither will you. Good luck to anyone visiting this store, finding a knowledgeable staff member is a serious challenge, if you can even find a staff member at all.

Today was a quick in & out for a couple of items. Friendly, helpful service. Items easy to find.

Great service at the parts counter. And I really like the option they provide to rent tools you would only use once in a blue moon.

Super super super cluttered. Cant get down any isles without having to take a detour. Most staff don’t care about customers, and over all not an enjoyable place to shop.

Like the store but everytime I go to buy shotgun shells it's a 20 minute or more wait at the ammunition cabinet. There is nobody in the department and once you ask another employee if someone has a key they walk away come back 5 or ten minutes later and the same employee opens the cabinet. I've asked the store manager if anyone works in the sporting goods department and recieved attitude as a response. Time to go to a different store for ammo.

Found everything I was looking for and a few things I wasn't looking for. Driving an older vehicle it can be hard to find certain items without having to order online. Was surprised to find them in store. Its worth a look before ordering online.

I always have consistently fantastic experiences at the Charlotterown Canadian Tire. The wonderful people who make this store so fantastic create a welcoming and cheerful atmosphere that makes shopping an easy and fun activity. Darlene, the manager always makes the customer her top priority and is a kind and welcoming presence, treating everyone like family!

Our most recent experience was made especially wonderful by Barrett and Bobby from the Parts and Service departments. Throughout the entire experience I felt confident in their kindness, ability and experience. Barrett reached out from his heart to assist me with getting my part and guiding me through the process so that the Service department could install the part on my vehicle. Bobby, the mechanic was clearly extremely skilled and treated my car with respect. I was so impressed by both Barrett and Bobby I wanted to share this story!

With this location's effort to reach out to each customer with genuine kindness and a willingness go above and beyond, it creates a wonderful place that Canadian Tire's head office can be proud of and hold up as an example of excellence!

It amazes me how customer service's is terribly awful at any Canadian Tire no matter where I go. Spent almost a grand 1K yesterday and could have spent more but the lack of help or knowledge left me forgoing a few items, I was served and told they had to look in the warehouse to see if an item was there after waiting for 37 minutes I had enough made my way to the cash and continued purchasing my needs to the Home Depot where I got exceptional services.

Was a late minute customer one staff member greeted us at the door was happy to let us continue however the next staff member was rude in telling us they were closed and had to leave once inside the stagg went above and beyond especially the young guy in hardware.which made up for the previous female worker. The young guy even carried the item to the car for us

They have EVERYTHING.with good sales. But so big.its difficult to find where u want to go. Need more of the basic signage

Had the best customer service today at Canadian Tire, Charlottetown. Shubh was outstanding. I let the manager know because there is always so much negativity, we need to stop and recognize the good too. Next time you have great customer service, let them know. Prepare yourself for terrible customer service when you go to the customer service desk and deal with Julie. No greeting. Gruff. Rude. Acts like she hates working there and you are bothering her.

Management is tone deaf, they run a decent store, but run a backend farce.
They have a lot of key employees that make the store function like one of Canada's best locations, but they protect that feel with nonsense when you read between the lines.

The cashier was not a very nice person. Things that she rang in were not what we were told the price was (lot more expensive) & she was not happy in trying to solve the problem & helping us. We were ready to leave all our stuff there until she came around. For sure if she's there next time I will go to another teller.

I have never had any good experiences at this store. The manger is rude and the staff doesn't have a clue what is going on in the store.they tell u to come in with a rain check that they dont except at this time. What a waste of time trying to shop there

I will never use the online shopping again. Order 2 small items Friday afternoon and it is Saturday afternoon and still no email notice to pickup. Standing in line not so bad after all.

Convenient place to do one stop shopping for both household needs and automobile products and services. Good prices as well.

Saw a angler kyak online on clearance so figured I'd go in and grab it. Drove a hour there and they told me it was in a container out back and couldn't get it. Was told to go home and order pickup online. Big waste of time and not sure if will go back to get one
