Very pretty. Cute photo opportunities down below the light house. First lighthouse I’ve been to in PEI where the light was working when I went up to the top.

Great lighthouse visit. Easy to find and lots of parking. Staff was very interested in telling all about the interesting history of this place, and of course, we were all ears.

If you are a Titantic buff, then by all means, visit this place and learn how it is connected to this ship.

Coming in here with a large motorhome might be a problem if they are busy.

Gorgeous lighthouse and lookout to the red cliffs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Picnic tables and washrooms on site.

Amazing history! This was the first known SOS contact with the Titanic when it struck the iceberg.

The lighthouse is located in a beautiful area of pei. There was lots to see including the seals swimming just below the lighthouse. They could be viewed from both the top of the lighthouse or from below. The gift shop had locally made crafts and the people running both the lighthouse and gift shop were very friendly.

Unfortunately it was closed so we were not able to go up, and the whole area smelled like sewage, but the views were still worth it!

Unfortunately closed temporarily due to Covid, however, you can still walk around and take photos of thd scenic beaches below.continue driving past the lighthouse along the dirt road for some more scenic photos. Worth the drive.

Was kind of hoping for more of a educational experience. The view is great but no interaction with the people working

Amazing experience. You can pay $5 for a short 10-15 min tour of the inside of the light house. It was a really cool experience to hear a little bit of history and see the amazing view.

Wonderful rustic and historically significant location. This is the second time I have been here, thought I would get better photos this time, but it was a little cloudy. It is still a nice place to visit.

Not a required stop. Views are pretty but the lighthouse consists of small grounds, a gift shop, and a 5 dollar tour to the top.

Cape Bear Lighthouse is located near Murray Harbour and is one of 7 lighthouses on PEI that you can go inside and climb to the top. It’s an important one because it was the first Canadian lighthouses to respond to the Titanic distress signal. They have information inside as you tour about it. The Marconi station is going to be renovated and moved to the site one day. The lighthouse has a great gift shop with lots of local crafts. Staff our wonderful, chatty and with great local stories too. It’s a short drive from Woods Island Ferry which also has lighthouse you can climb. Highly recommend!

It's pretty neat.for a lighthouse. Climbing up is kind of fun. It's hot in there obviously but hey there is a giant light in there. I'm glad we stopped by
