Captain Kidd's dairy bar & takeout

Tasty, quick, generous portions. Poutine was made with squeaky curds and crispy fries, and was not too salty. Quality and portion size was better than I was expecting for the price. The view is beautiful and there is a small playground area.

Excellent ice cream, generous servings and great burgers. After a day on the beach an excellent place to grab a bite or just to cool down with an ice cream cone.

Although we only wanted a "French fry fix", this turned out to be the perfect quick stop.

Fries were made to order - not just taken from a large batch of pre cooked fries. They were a perfect blend of crispy outside but soft potato middle (PEI best potatoes of course).

The customer service was great - very friendly and personable.

The location offers a great spot to eat, take in the view, and it even has a place for kids to play. All with lots of parking.

Really good burgers but you need to be hungry, big portion there:) My kids really liked it.

Bonne nourriture, grosse portion pour nous mais un peu cher. Les enfants ont adoré les jeux.

À améliorer peut-être.un escalier qui descend direct de la galerie où on dîne aux jeux, car présentement les enfants doivent passer par le stationnement pour s'y rendre, tandis qu'avec l'autre option on peut surveiller et continuer le dîner.

Conveniently located. Great selection for fast food. Enjoyed the fish & chips and the hamburger. Can't forget the milk shake.

The food is pretty good and they have fair prices. If you eat there on the picnic tables, the view is surprisingly incredible. Would recommend the place!

Well priced and above average dairy bar food. Burgers, onions rings, fries and gravy all received praise from my group of ten. The only knock is that they're a bit understaffed and that leads to slow service and mistakes. But the young folks working are giving their best shot so you can't fault them for that. They have some small playground equipment for the kids which makes for a fun atmosphere.

Rediculously over priced. You get a pound of fries and 5 or 6 small pieces of clams for $19. I seriously thought there was a mistake in my order, but nope, you get basically two mouth fulls of clams for almost $20. Get a burger if you come here. It's the only decently priced thing on the menu.

Also, you almost ran out of fish at 1230 and it wasn't even busy.

On the plus side, while the staff was really young, they were really nice and really professional.

Tip: get bigger straws for your milkshakes, and get some malt vinegar for your French fries.

A bit pricey and didn’t have the prices up to see but you get what you pay for. Didn’t have chicken strips.

Much better than other reviews would have you believe. My family and in-laws were all extremely impressed by the food.

The food is alright no better then any other, but it's super expensive, for one scoop of ice cream it's $5 dollars and $6 Dollars for an ice cream identical to the ones at McDonalds for $2, a decent pouting is $8 and it's fine but that's too much for it, everything is very expensive, if you are hungry do not come here unless you have some deeper pockets, if you want breakfast go to the Tim Hortans 3 seconds down the road and if you want good food go to the poutine cart at the boardwalk

The staff are very young and sometimes have very random questions or get confused but they're nice and I guess that's the norm for a summer job at a dairy bar. They have a GREAT poutine.a little bit pricey.

Very friendly, awesome food. Had a tractor with 53' trailer empty, but only couple cars in yard so had room to park. Will definitely be going back.

This gem of a restaurant is located close to the Green Gables house and is just minutes down the road. I had a hamburger and fries as well as a hot dog. There was so much food that I couldn't finish everything. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. I would definitely return if I was in the area.

This place was great. We only had the ice cream, which was great, but judging on that, I'd imagine the food would probably be great as well.
Service was fast and friendly.

Just ordered online for pick up, convenient not to have to remember orders. We arrived early, and they had it ready within a few minutes. A little expensive, but what isn't these days? Very generous portions, I couldn't finish my meal. The fries were crispy, as were the onion rings. Gravy was tasty and hamburger patty was thick
