Cavendish KOA Holiday

Location is 1 mile or so walk to Green Gables attraction. Entrance to CG has a gate you need to swipe a card to open. That gate entrance is VERY tight, a hassle to use, but that is the only negative. CG is very long and very friendly to biggest rigs.

Came her for the second year in a row with the family. Kids have a blast every time with lots for them to run around and do along with the different events each evening. Sites are clean and a good size. Not far from beautiful Cavendish beach

We really enjoyed our three day stay. Bathrooms were clean. Better seating in shower for changing clothes would be nice. Small issue. Tent sites need elevated pad or similar. We were flooded in our tent. Also numbering of lots needs to be clearer.

Overall was a great visit. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Terrain de camping ok. Cependant il y a une gérante qui n’est pas capable de parler au monde. C’est désolant parce qu’ils sont bien situé. Nous avons écourté notre séjour à cause d’elle.

Camping is ok. But the manager isn’t to polite with campers. We decided to leave one day early and her answer was « great ». How is that for an experience.

Cavendish KOA Holiday

A great place, close to the village, good restaurants within walking distance. The staff is extremely friendly. George at reception is a diamond who puts a smile on everyone's face with his humor and charm.
Very clean sanitary facilities.

The staff works tirelessly, the bins are emptied several times. Everything is done here to please the guests.

And for children it is a paradise, large playground, Sandcastles are built with the children, and special fun for the children is the Wagonride.

I had a place with a covered cabana. Super Cool

If I could, I'd give it 1 star. I'm all about rules.but wow the workers act like dictators. The pool needs an update from the 80's. The icing of the cake was the worker with a British accent blaming a bunch of young kids that they opened a lock gate for the bouncey pillow when it was another worker. Left a very sour taste in my mouth.
The tractor ride Sunday night was packed and the 2nd ride there was 12 kids waiting to go on and the lady (Louis) said the 1st one wasn't packed so the wagon rides are done (which says runs 6-7pm).
I been to KoA Cornwall lots and it's a world of difference from Cavendish KOA.

Wow! Excellent endroit! Personnel vraiment gentil, certains parlaient français.
Très, très propre. Couvre-feu respecté. Terrains assez grands. Plusieurs activités pour les enfants.

I would rate higher, but this is the most I could give. The area was nice and all, but when you have a very noisy neighbor, it's hard to sleep at night. It's also not very enjoyable when you have to walk 2km for the showers if you're at the far end of the campground. There were just a lot of little things that made it hard to stay. The positives are that they frequently have little events and shows to attend, and they have a public pool too. I would go again if the price was a little cheaper and then added a closer shower.

Campground is overall a great campground. Very family friendly a great place for kids. I’ve been to a lot of campgrounds and the washrooms here were by far the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Good access to shinning waters, and a few other little places. Only issues were
- sites are too close together, our tent site was too small and our tents were pretty much touching our neighbours, 0 privacy from them. They parked their car for the night which was 2-3 feet from our fire pit.
- for 2 hours after quiet time the people across from us were still blasting music and being very loud
- fire wood was extremely damp and would hardly burn
Other than that had a great stay and will definitely be back again!

Tres beau camping! Pourrait avoir plus d activités et le wifi est pas très bon! Sinon les toilettes et douches sont chaudes et super propre!

Absolutely perfect! This campground has more to offer than you could ever expect from a campground. Super friendly personnel, amazing activities for the kids, great sites, fully stocked convenience store, clean bathrooms! And right in the wonderful town of Cavendish.

• Campground is very busy, if you have kids this is the area for you.
• Very close to neighbors, just packed in.
• My site was grass, very soft grass. The person before me left huge ruts.
• Levelling was difficult due to the soft ground.
• Fire pits are in bad locations, if my neighbor had a fire, my car would be less than 2 feet from his fire. If I had a fire, I’d probably damage my neighbors RV.
• Showers are big and clean, but too few for a campground of this size.
• Roads are red dirt, and very soft.
• They need to spend some of their money on improving the campground.
• Laundy has more machines broken than working.

One of the finest places to go and around 5 minutes drive to one of the finest beaches also.

Our stay was great place got quiet around 10pm kids gone to bed then at 12am this diesel truck is in here with back up sounds echoing through the place bright lights shinging in our tens for over 40 minutes my kids wide awake now and this guy making noise like there isn't anybody in this freaking place. VERY DISAPPOINTED

After arriving earlier, they were not only accommodating but went beyond in getting me a quality site.
Met Lindsay the owner on site and was impressed with the care and genuine interest in me and made sure I was satisfied with my site.
The staff from beginning to end were outstanding. The grounds were clean and quiet dispute the amount of campers and families who were there. Even other campers were easygoing and pleasant.

Cavendish KOA was one of the highlights of our trip to Prince Edward Island. We got a patio site in the “rich” section that was the best furnish site I’ve ever enjoyed. Tables, Weber Grill and a wooden swing. At one point I had an electrical problem (my fault) and was assisted by none other than the owner, Matthew. He not only took care of us but arranged (at great length) our ability to stay on that site longer than we anticipated. After meeting Matthew he would stop in during our ten day visit to check in with us and tell us all about the island which he grew up on.

This KOA is a paradise for kids but what most impressed me was the staff. They loved their job with the kids and it showed.

This KOA is walking distance to great restaurants and a short drive to the beach and everything Anne of Green Gables.

Well done guys, you won my heart.

I just want to say, I've been in many campgrounds through my life, I have never felt more at home and welcome anywhere than I do here at KOA Cavendish. The staff and owners are so polite and helpful and friendly it's heart warming. In our 3 day stay not one employee went past our sight without waving, saying hello or asking if everything was ok or if we needed anything, absolutely wonderful service. We will DEFINITELY be back and WILL recommend highly to our friends and family. A huge thank you to the owners and staff, you made our stay incredible.

This dog-friendly, family-oriented, clean KOA was nothing short of fabulous! The numerous amenities for our younger kids were well-organized and proving fun for the whole family. Our favorite was candy bar bingo and the water gun tractor ride followed by the foam party. The employees were hospitable and a pleasure to talk with- they really made the experience magical. Close to all the great things Cavendish had to offer, this KOA was fabulous. We'll be back!

This campground was amazing, they have an excellent program for the kids and all the staff were awesome. Definitely would camp there again.

Lots of organized activities for kids. Kids are not bored as they make new friends to play with.
