Cavendish Maples Cottages

We were very excited to stay here. We actually cancelled a pre existing reservation to come here instead because we saw they had a pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, despite advertising this the pool and hot tub were CLOSED. We got to the cottage and it was what we expected minus the fact there were crumbs all over the table and counters. We had multiple severe allergies in our group and couldn’t trust the cleaning that was done… so we requested supplies and cleaned the cottage better then they do between stays… if we had questions about anything to do with PEI the owner seemed very annoyed and looked at us like we have ten heads. We’ve never been to this province before so we had genuine questions. We met some lovely people also staying at these cottages and they were all SO sweet! Some were from PEI. They were also very upset about the pool and hot tub being closed as it was advertised as open. You don’t get what you pay for unfortunately and we didn’t like entering what appeared to be an uncleaned cottage before our stay. Cavendish is beautiful but everything is closed during off season (I mean EVERYTHING). So consider this when booking in off season times. Customer service here was less then satisfactory to say the least.we’ll be taking our money else where next time.

Right in heart of most activities in Cavendish. The owners were accommodating and helped with an issue we had promptly. The environment is extremely serene, beautiful and calm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cavendish maples and plan to return next year. We loved all the green space at the cottage interior was terrific
