Charlottetown Beer Garden & Seafood Patio

We're "from away" as they say there. Went at the Beer Garden with my wonderful girlfriend on a Thursday night. We had brilliant live music, a platter of seafood delights to share - it's like a taste of PEI at every bite - a few drinks and a great service with a smile from every staff member all evening. We were full, happy and singing - shout out to Richie and Travis!

Great band Monday night when we were there. They played all original (to others) music, very well. We had a super fun time bantering with them. Beer was local and very good.

Food was decent, the lobster orders were, as expected, amazing, but the service was subpar. Took forever for us to order, even though there were plenty of servers standing around by the POS system. Service wasn't great, the food was good, and the drink menu was plentiful.

Loved it! Intially we weren't sure because we had kids with us, but our waitress was stellar. The food was amazing and so was the band. Would absolutely recommend.

Avoid this place. The doorman was a complete moron. Tried to steal my id. I am concerned they are engaging in identify theft. I am 33 years old and being carded by a 20 year old idiot. Lol. The manager was no better. I guess they are either bigots toward Quebecers or just plain stupid. Hope this place is not an example of PEI hospitality.

Great location to go to especially in the summers but also in the winters. Ambiance in the patio during the summer is awesome and they have a great selection of beers and other drinks. Highly recommend for beer drinks that are into the sun and live music! Friendly staff too.

Très bon! Je recommande particulièrement les tacos au homard (il y en a 3) qui sont vraiment bien garnis et beaucoup moins chers que le lobster roll traditionnel. Belle ambiance avec musique live et joli aménagement paysager rempli de fleurs. Une bonne adresse à Charlottetown!

2nd time I have gone there. 2nd time the food experience was terrible. Ordered fish and chips, was way over cooked, burned crispy. Was looking forward to some ice cold island brews, instead got warm flat beer. There won't be a third opportunity to be dissapointed here.
The waitress was very good, she knew the fish was junk too, and suggested we let her tell the chef.

Tub Tub Poutine! WOW! The food was fast and amazing. The staff was super friendly and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

I can't say enough great things about the beer garden. I recently got married and my now wife and I wanted to steal away for a quick pint after our ceremony before our reception. I went to the beer garden prior to the big day and asked if they could save a table in the corner. The gentleman mentioned that even though they don't take reservations, they would love to have us. When we got there my wife in her gown, and I in my suit we were greeted warmly, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly and attentive. Live music is awesome as well. A must stop when your in town for a great selection of craft beer and some good vibes.

I felt bad for the serving staff because the place was very busy and they were understaffed. Food was not very good, fries were burnt.

Good food, live music and a great patio. The Birria Poutine was delicious, Bombay muscles were very good, the Islander muscles, while good, were a little bland.

In Charlottetown for the first time. Friends told me this is a must! They were RIGHT. It's a lovely place. Only had an apple snap ($9.40) it was delicious.

Good music, good service. If you go with friends for the drinks and the resto atmosphere its the place, but the food so so.

What! You have too go to see the live entertainment. So amazing. Not sure of the two man band. But @#$%@#$ amazing

Great food for a very fair price. The band had a great repertoire and hardly took a break. They encouraged us to sing along! Fun and delicious. Kids are welcome.

Very good to go un downtown Charlottetown. Food was great, warm ambiance, and an interesting choice of beer. The service was amazing: A+. Our waitress, Chloe, gave us the best service, so professional. It was really a plus value for our experience there. I recommend that place.

Great place, staff, and atmosphere! I didn't get to try the food, but I heard it was decent pub fare, and in hearty portions.
I walked by after 9 and it looked like the place to be for night life!

Great place to come and just drink and they are open late. Great atmosphere and the staff is very attentive! Our waitress was Crowbar and she was great!

The next time we visit Charlottetown, my group agreed we will be back!

Nice beer, friendly staff. Live music is somewhat weak. Brad & Griffin are terrible. Every cover is lifeless and boring, bog standard 90s, cheesy covers. These two are joyless, depressing, miseries going through the motions and collecting their pay check. Give them the boot and get people up there who actually enjoy music.

Huge patio, with shaded and sunny seats. Great beer selection, good food. Attentive service, live music weekend nights, and a great beer garden vibe. Will return.

Great place. You can choose from an outdoor covered patio or Inside. The food and service were both great. If you order the fish and chips you better be hungry.

Very impressed! Best fish and chips of the Atlantic provinces! Great beer selection. Knowledgeable staff helped me discover some great beer selections. Wife thoroughly enjoyed the lobster roll and potato salad.
