Ordered the curry sampler plate and enjoyed it thoroughly. Can't wait to return to try another menu item.

My spouse and I are repeat customers because this restaurant has: solid food options, great portions, wide range of alcohol beverage options, and every different meal we have tried have all been equally fantastic. Truly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are downtown!

Food was great, as someone who eats a lot it was filling. Prices were fair for the portion sizes.

I got the curry quisadias (pardon my spelling) and it was extremely good. Other members of my party got fish and chips and the club sandwich respectively and both of which were very positively reviewed. The size of fish for the fish and chips was very good.

The service was extremely good and kind. We had a dog with us and the patio wasn't really in use but they were more than happy to accommodate us.

Overall I have nothing but good things to say and I would recommend this place heavily.

O me oh my! Fabulous, fish and double fried fries, thick cut steak fries, so good! Service fabulous, a busy spot, so you know food is good.

Always a blast here. Best staff anywhere! Food is to die for! The soups.are divine! The curries, they don't get any better than here!

My daughter took me there for my birthday. The staff and bartender were fantastic. I had a great time.

Ordered steak and kidney pie. It was not a pie. It was a filling in a dish with a clump of Phillo pastry on top. Not one bit impressed. Too much money for too little food and a snobby waitress to boot.

The location is great, service is great but the food was just okay. We ordered chicken and mushroom pies with mashed potatoes. The pies had a piece of puff pastry sitting on top rather than a crust, and it was impossible to cut while sitting on the dish. We had to put it on the side of our plates, and even then it was difficult to cut with a knife and fork. Additionally, the mashed potatoes were tasteless, even adding salt couldn't make them more flavourful. The chicken and mushrooms were very tasty.

Discriminates against single people.

I would have liked to try this place if I would have been served. But instead the waitress mumbled something, turned around and walked away after I wanted to try this restaurant. It was quite busy, but there were a few seats available. This isn't the first place that didn't want to serve me for being by myself, it seems to be a growing issue everywhere.

Don't know why we haven't been going to the Churchill Arms more often. After choosing other restaurants lately we will now be making Churchill our "go to" restaurant!
A cozy restaurant and charming atmosphere and of course lots of Churchill memorabilia.
It has a great menu with lots of very tasty curries in all sorts of different formats including nachos and quesadillas as well as the more traditional presentations.
And of course, other non-curry menu items as well.
Food was super tasty, served quite quickly by friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable. Just a wonderful place for a relaxing lunch!

My husband and I ate here and enjoyed the food immensely. Although the menu is not printed with nutritional warnings, our server advised me that GF options were available and which items to avoid. I chose the Chicken Tikka Nachos and the flavour blend was fantastic. My husband had the fish and chips and the 1pc was enormous. The batter was crispy and so were the fries (perfectly). Highly recommend eating here.

Fish and chips are amazing and the portions are very generous. One piece of fish filled the entire plate! Nothing was greasy, the batter was so light and crispy and perfectly done. I had a side of mushy peas which were good, but the side curry sauce for fry dipping blew me away with the flavour. True British style food. You won’t be disappointed!

Nice wait staff and owner/manager… GREAT CURRY FRIES! We went for trivia and as Americans we are confused why there were no rules, really long wait times for questions, only 20 questions (2.5 hours) and no microphone. But alas we had fun and I won a free beer!

Fantastic little pub. Excellent beer, food and service. Do yourself a favor and go. Well worth the visit. I'll be back for sure. Thanks from an Ottawa tourist.

Excellent service! Big portions of food. If you order the 2 piece fish n chips be aware. Those are big fish.

Once upon a time, in Guelph, Ontario there was a pub called The Penny Whistle which served chips (french fries) and curry (Curry flavoured sauce/gravy). It was a personal favourite. The Penny was killed by the pandemic, as many restaurants were. I feared I would never taste the glorious Curry and chips again, but lo and behold - The Churchill Arms served it and it was beautiful, holy even. Loved every moment.

TL;DR Great food, staff, ambiance, and price point.

Great place. Classic pub, would make this a regular stop. Could stand to improve the single malt selection but otherwise a great location. The curries are absolutely top notch.

Poor food and marginal service. Tips on the machine start at 18%. Worse fish and chips I've ever had.

The day server is rude and not welcoming, twice with her, we just left, she just seem annoyed having to deal with guests and allergic to making money. The server Thursday evening however was super pleasant and the reason for the 4 stars.

Perfect atmosphere for a pint and proper modern pub fare; including some delicious butter chicken! Staff is knowledgeable and polite, plus it's a smaller interior so you get great service. The prices are more than fair, especially for a "downtown" pub. I'd recommend it for a casual lunch.

Such a nice local place, food was really good and at a decent price. It was trivia night and the host was great.

Classic English Pub. Busy and packed but staff did great job bringing drinks quickly. Had the Steak/Kidney Pie which was delicious. Great place for comfort food.

Beautiful PEI September weather added to the late afternoon atmosphere, but service was super friendly and the beers were cold.

Great pub atmosphere. Friendly service and curry that will knock your socks off. Although me and my partner are disappointed half price curry hasn’t been a thing since covid, that ain’t going to stop us
