COWS Peakes

Staff is extremely helpful and funny. A pigeon kept trying to sneak into the store and the girls working there kept having to chase "Barry" away. Really funny. Also, the T-shirts are hilarious. Ice cream was rich without being too heavy and it matched the setting of island (wife's words.something about Anne of Green Gabbles, idk).

Great ice cream, lots of variety and options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This location is great as it’s right on the water, on a pier.
Was very busy when we went and the store can get crowded.

Waited in line at least 30 minutes for a cone watching 1 person scoop ice cream while 3 other staff stood and watched as the line grew longer. At one point they asked the cone dipper to help. He proceeded to ask 1 person for their order, was baffled by the flavor choice and then went back to his 'dipping" station after 1 order. As a former restaurant owner, I can't imagine who would leave their store with this bunch of incompetents! The man ahead of me noted how the scoopers hair kept going in the ice cream. Sorry COWS, I won't be back.

Creamy! Was in PEI for 2 days and had them on both days. Personal faves are PEI Strawberry (not in photo), Gooey Mooey and Coffee.

They really are THE best ice cream! I would say not only at PEI, but the best in general. Staff were friendly and patient with us while we were deciding which flavours we should get. They offered free taste but we already knew what we wanted.:)
We all had different flavours and it tasted sooooo delicious! We wanted to have more but had a dinner reservation and we surely didn’t want to ruin our appetites. Gotta have cows ice cream if you’re at PEI.
They also have funny souvenir shirts for sale.

This was a very expensive ice cream spot for just "okay" ice cream. I thought it was extremely sweet and was oddly already melting down the cone as I paid for it at the cashier.

Honestly, so good. Reasonably priced (more in Banff!) and tasty as heck. Gorgeous marina view in behind the shoppe. Yum!

I absolutely love this place! The ice create is delicious! The store is cute and bright! And the location by the water is incredible! Nothing beats strolling around on a hot day with a COWS Peak ice cream! The staff is super friendly! Park is a wee bit out of the way but that's ok, it's a beautiful stroll to this place. Stay safe out there people and be kind to each other, life is too short!

Delicious ice cream with hilarious options for shirts, sweaters, etc. Whoever does COWS' design and marketing knows what's up. Recommend not trying to order, hold and pay for 5 cones at once on your own, if you'd rather not having a panic attack.

Delicious! So creamy and many flavours to choose from! There is a cute shop where you can buy parody t shirts. The staff was so friendly!

It's truly the best ice cream on the island and one of the best i have tried. Homemade flavors are various. I would recommand the cownadian maple one. You can see that the cone is freshly made (to notice because it's rare) with a nice light taste of almond.

Ice cream that as hyped as it is still exceeds expectations. Premium product worth the premium price and the inevitable line. Check out the whimsical merchandise while you are waiting.
Generally staffed by students, so expect a little inattention at times, yet it’s all worth it.

It's good ice cream, but it's very expensive (they weight it in the cone). It's a once a year treat. I had mine, go get yours.

A must see experience if you love ice cream. Don’t be a COWard, stand in line, it mooves. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Relax, you’re on vacation.talk to someone in line. The only complaint is they haven’t mooooved west, except to N Falls.

Je ne suis habituellement pas fan de crème glacée mais je dois avouer que celle là je l'aime vraiment. Les choix de parfums sont originaux en plus.

Absolutely my favorite ice cream! I stop by here every time I'm in the area! After which I enjoy my ice cream while visiting all the local tourist shop. There no where else I'd rather be on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff too! Awesome!

Great ice cream. Lots of flavours. Nice attached gift shop. I had the salted toffee in a waffle cone and it was delicious.

Smaller than the COWS location on Queen just a 5 min walk up the street. But sometimes they have flavors that the other location doesn't have. Being by the water has its advantages too, especially on a warm summer day. Also nice to have music playing by peakes wharf as you enjoy your ice cream.

Very friendly service & good ice cream and waffle cones. Lots of seating around the shop & plenty of other stores too.

I know it's sacrilege to criticize 'the Cow's Ice Cream parlor' here on PEI, however my experience with my wife and son was not the Glorious experience everyone raves about. To order three ice cream cones it took 3 staff two tries to get our order correct and that's with our seven year old not getting his first choice and settling. The merchandise side of the store was a totally different experience with a very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable staff member provide us with excellent service. The store is fun with novel merchandise that I haven't seen anywhere else.
