This is our favourite place to eat or grab a snack when on the island. It never disappoints from its fish and chips, Brody burger, club house and ofcourse ice creams everything is amazing. The service is always great.

Slowest service. Waited an hour for takeout.
The specials of the day aren't on special, same price as other days.
Expensive for frozen, crinkle fries when we're the potato province.

We come here every year on vacation for ice cream because it's the best around. Today everyone got ice cream and I just wasn't feeling like ice cream so I got the seafood chowder. Truth be told I wasn't expecting much from an ice cream take out shop. But I was underestimating for sure. Honestly one of if not the best chowder I have had on the island so far and I have tried it in alot of places. It was really flavorful and full of seafood not just tons of potatoes like alot of places. I will be making this a new tradition.

My family went to get treats there today and the lady was absolutely horrid to them! So rude, will never go back.

Best ice cream in prince country, never a complain about going for ice cream but don't waste your time in the dining room

Twice we went to eat there and both time the same thing.

An hour wait for french fries and watching people that come in after us being served first. We had to get up and go get our own menus.

The waitress is rude, dont for the life of you ask for water, it makes her angry.

When you go to the window for ice cream you have 4-5 young girls all happy and not doing much, but in the dining room you have one cranky lady left to do everything on her own. (Taking orders, cleaning tables, serving food and drinks) management should really spread staff around. No wonder the waitress is cranky.

Sadly we have experienced this twice now and both decided not to return, cost of living is too high now to spend money where it isn't worth it, or better yet; where they don't appreciate your patronage.

Great local establishment serving up great ice cream, homemade style dinners, along with friendly service. Highly recommend the fish and chips and the hamburger steak. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here.

A PEI landmark that never fails to be consistently great. Proprietary softie ice cream recipe, or so the rumor goes. I recommend the softie chocolate/vanilla mix swirl. Warning: large portions! It's not summer in PEI until you've been to the Frosty Treat.

Update May 2023: Still consistently great! Very busy place but worth the wait.

We stopped by on a bike ride on the rails to trails and ordered a twist cone.

It's a pretty good soft serve! The location is right on the rails to trails in Kensington so if you want a have a tasty break this is it.

There was pretty good outdoor seating with table directly infront of the ordering window but also along the rails to trails.

Grew up with this place! Lots of good memories! Took my kids and introduced them to the food and ice cream delights of this place! Definitely a place to take the family. Gluten-free options are available. And lactose free options for those of us who still want some ice cream!

Fish & chips were out favourite but have changed the batter and not good! Also increased the price and smaller serving sizes. Always went multiple times but not anymore

Our go-to for great fish & chips, and simple comfort foods like hot turkey sandwiches, burgers, and fries with the works. The service is always excellent, food comes out fresh & fast, and the ice cream creations are fantastic. Try the homemade potato salad!

The food was excellent. The staff were attentive and efficient. The server made suggestions to accommodate my food allergies and sensitivities. This is not the place for a romantic date. However, it's excellent as a roadside eatery.
