Georgetown Historic Inn

Stayed for 4 days and had an incredible time. First stay in PEI and the staff and owners made my friends and I feel so welcome and comfortable. The food was the best I had on the whole island during my time here and I don’t think I’ll eat a better lobster roll again anytime soon! Couldn’t recommend the Inn any higher, an absolute must-stay.

We had the best time staying at the Georgetown Inn, lovely little town to walk/bike around, and the inn had the best food on our whole trip. Location was also a great jumping off point to lots of activities/sights nearby.

Very nice place to stay and eat. Calm, the perfect place to relax. Owners and staff very friendly.

Fresh and tasteful! Looks beautiful from the front entrance to the clean cozy rooms. Great food and friendly atmosphere! We will be back!

Beautiful place and flower gardens, friendly staff and nice breakfast. We stayed in the Anne of Green Gables room. It was on the third floor, so if you have problems climbing stairs would check what floor your room is on. The room was small with small shower and tub.

Very good Turkey dinner! Service was quick and we loved the decor. My husband had breakfast there a couple weeks ago and was impressed.

A downside of traveling is that you find a wonderful place, promise yourself that you will return, and unfortunately never do. My wife and I found the Georgetown Inn, and have promised ourselves that one day we will return.

Everything about the establishment is comfortable and relaxing. Whether it was our room, breakfast, dinner, or the glass of wine that I enjoyed on the front porch.
The rooms are well appointed, charming and clean. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast, included with the room, is a choice of one item off the restaurant's menu.

Our dinner at the restaurant was the perfect way to end a day on Prince Edward Island. Appetizers - seafood chowder and mussels. Main - lobster mac and cheese, which we shared, so as to leave room for dessert. Wild blueberry cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. The following evening our desserts were the bread pudding and coconut cream pie. All desserts are made on the premises.

If your travels take you to Prince Edward Island, enjoy the Georgetown Inn.

Absolutely loved this Gem! Was looking for a little breakfast spot while touring this side of PEI and wala! Food was amazing! We ordered the Eggs Benny on Belgium Waffles and could have ordered more! Service was so fast and friendly. Highly recommend stopping in!

An absolute beautiful spot! We spent 1 night in the Rose room & we were not disappointed. The room is beautifully decorated, the bed was great for comfort, beautiful gardens in the backyard where you can sit & relax. The property is gorgeous!
A restaurant downstairs that cooks homestyle meals that are beyond delicious!
Your stay includes free breakfast, any choice off the menu & a free drink as well.
A fishing wharf close by that offers deep sea fishing tours, a flower garden just up the street that you can walk through, a quiet little town that has a beautiful boardwalk along the waters edge.
So happy we choose to stop here & enjoy the beauty of the area!

We didn't stay here but drove from Charlottetown to check out the restaurant. We were not disappointed. The place is lovely. Very clean and the food was very good especially the blueberry short cake. The service was great. I would highly recommend making the drive.

Excellent service, clean rooms five star menu and quality. Full breakfast each included. Quiet, friendly small community with with all necessary conveniences nearby.

Good location for this side of PEI. Since we had to leave early to catch the Woods Island ferry, we got tasty hot sandwiches to go.

Loved it here. Beautiful old house and very comfortable rooms. Lovely friendly staff- thanks Kim - and the most delicious lobster pot pie, wish we could have stayed longer.

Inconsiderate and unfriendly. I have cancelled my trip to Nova Scotia & PEI trip due to the hurricane Dorian. I already called them to cancel my booking 5-days before, and explaining the reason for the cancellation. But the woman answering my phone coldly said she will charge me a full night no matter what reasons! (and then they managed to rent out the same room and earn double income!)

Lesson learned: NEVER BOOK ANY HOTELS WHICH REQUIRE MORE THAN 3-DAYS CANCELLATION IN-ADVANCE WITH FULL PENALTY!

Definitely will bypass Georgetown when going to PEI next time!

This town is dead. Don’t come here and waste your money. Hotel has no elevator and all internet password does not work. All rooms upstairs. No ice. Food is fair at best. Don’t waste you time to visit this side of PEI.

I stayed here last week to attend a retreat/ classes at the nearby Kings Playhouse. All of the rooms at the inn were booked by other classmates. We had early schedules and the awesome GH Inn owners Rhonda and Aubrey, and their amazing staff, were so sweet and accommodating- came in early to make sure we got breakfast before our classes started. A lot of people flew in from California and sometimes checked in at midnight? But Rhonda was so warm and welcoming! There is a small room next to the dining room where they set up a hot water/ tea/ ramen station for refueling and midnight snacks, so we felt more like we were at home than a hotel.
The food was excellent! We ate our way around the island and I have to say, the food here is really really excellent and prices extremely reasonable as well. We had breakfast included every morning and had some dinners here. They created vegetarian options and many of the veggies were from their own garden- so fresh and wonderful! Rhonda even ventured to make rice porridge for breakfast for us for the first time (it was waaay better than my first congee haha). Kim and the wait staff provided genuinely warm and efficient service and we always returned to a spotless, inviting room. Overall, can't say enough good things about our stay!
