Glasgow Hills Resort & Golf Cavendish

First round of golf on PEI for our family trip. You will not be disappointed with any facet of your experience here: this course represents PEI's endeavor to be a premier golf destination. The views of the surrounding area from the first five holes of the course were stunning.

Had a great round of golf.excellent condition after all the trees down.dinner was fantastic, ice cold beer, excellentserver, superb food and spectacular view.

Absolutely beautiful course. Nicest staff. I threw my back out on the first tee. Pro shop gave me a voucher for 18 holes plus a cart good for 2 years! Outstanding!

This was my dream home and property but I didn't get off the pot.
Food was really good but waited 40 minutes for it. Service was extremely slow but friendly. Took almost an hour for waiting staff to come take a drink order. I was told they were to busy and would get to us soon. 45 minutes later. Extremely loud there just from people talking. We couldn't hear ourselves think or have our own conversation across the table. Other then the food and the view, I probably won't go back.

Exceptional service from the minute we arrived! In retrospect, wished we had arrived earlier to use their first class practice facilities (range balls included) to get familiar with the Titlelist clubs we rented. Despite the Scotty Cameron putter provided, I have never 3-putted so many greens!

The course itself is not overly difficult. Only 3 forced carries over water or hazards, including a nice island-like green on #9. Several par 4's are relatively short from the whites, but the severe elevation changes add some difficulty. The tree-lined fairway on #8 and very narrow fairway on #14 demand straight drives. Otherwise, there is some room for error on wayward tee shots.

Perhaps the biggest hazard is the risk of losing your concentration from all the spectacular views! Hole #17 is particularly stunning starting with the elevated tee shot over a hazard, down into the valley after which the fairway rises steeply to a blind green.

Overall, Glasgow Hills should be on your must play list when in PEI!

One of the nicest courses that I've played in a long time. The course is maintained beautifully and the scenery is so calming. Having the app greatly improved my game by having exact measurements to the green.

Ate at the restaurant. Food was fantastic.
Would definitely eat there again.

A really funky place to dine. Food was really creative and well prepared. The staff was engaging and attentive.

Golf course was in excellent condition. I'm a 24 handicap and the course offers a really good challenge and will definitely make you doubt your putting abilities. Even 4 feet putts are a challenge. The design is great and offers great scenery views. The restaurant has some of the best food options among PEI golf courses. I had the Porky Pig hamburger and it was delicious. The staff was welcoming and very nice, from the kids bringing you your cart in the parking lot, to the shop, to the cart girl on the course, and the waitress at the restaurant. Very satisfied with my first experience at this course and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun golf outing on PEI!

The golf course is great. We had a wonderful lunch after playing golf. I think I'm willing to drive here from Charlottetown even only for the meal, because the view is good, the portion is big, and the price is beautiful. The only concern is waiting a little bit long. Because there are more than 40 people went in together that day.

The course was in good shape for our mid-June rounds. The layout was enjoyable and pace of play was perfect, approx. 4.5 hours. Staff were very friendly and the starter gave us some useful tips as we were new to the course. Highly recommended.

It's a great golf course with beautiful views. It's a cart golf course. Restaurant and service is top notch.
