Approximately 5 minute wait to be seated, another 5 minutes for the menu and it was no time after ordering. Food was great, great atmosphere friendly staff, very busy place at time of visit, line up was out the door as we were leaving.

Great food, friendly staff, not too expensive. Had a simple bacon cheeseburger and it was incredible. What's not to love.

Service is good. Food is really good. I had the 3 pc chicken dinner. And a sundae for dessert. Very good

Breakfast was alright except the coffee. Tasted like it was sitting in the pot since the night before.

Servers were friendly first off, food was just ok, hot chicken didn't appear to be sliced chicken but more of packaged chunks. Gravy I was unsure of and I felt there was a bit to much put in the sandwich where it was soaked with it and the color was not appetizing to the eyes and food was luke warm. Some may like that but I wasn't a fan I like a hot chicken to be hot.
Sweet potato fries not the best same with the fish. I'm hoping their breakfasts might be better but unsure I'll go back to try.

As far as old school diner breakfast goes, this hit the spot! Reasonably priced, nice portions, good flavour.

Not the place for upscale, fancy or complex/unique flavour combinations but the place to go for home fries, eggs, whichever breakfast meat, and a thick layer of butter on toast. Hollandaise sauce was packaged but still tasty.

Waitress was nice and checked in an appropriate amount of times.

Great burger and fries, turkey dinner specials I think on Thursdays, and an all day breakfast menu that is second to none. Great service too!

Our waitress was super sweet and friendly, but the cook (i'm assuming that's who he was since he came from the kitchen) did not look like he was following proper restaurant hygiene at all.also, the food really wasn't good at all, the "turkey club" was more like a turkey salad, the gravy wasn't very good either, it was pretty clumpy and just didn't taste great.i went home feeling like i was going to throw up, so overall, not great and i won't be going again.

Loved the breakfast here. The servers were excellent and efficient. Good food. Good prices. Good quality and quantity.

Excellent staff, very friendly, cheerful. Food was awesome with each visit. I tried the Pope Road Platter, Granville St Grand Slam and Duke St Deluxe over three different days. Enjoyed each. Partner fell in love with the Breakfast Pountine and is hell bent on trying to recreate it at home. Will definitely visit again next trip to PEI.

The food was good, although a bit more seasoning would have been good in the food. Otherwise, excellent service!

The grilled potatoes were great, especially with the peppers and onions. Bacon was above average and everything else was solid.

Hearty, tasty breakfast! I enjoyed the eggs and potatoes fried with onions. Great friendly service. Giving 3 stars solely because my eggs, potatoes, cold gluten free toast and OJ cost $20.00.bit much for a diner in my opinion but my friends really enjoyed their breakfast!

Cool bright spot with wide open space and high ceilings. The walls were covered with awesome local artist's (of all ages) bright and colorful work.

Ours was an older waitress, with long cool silver nails. No smile and barely a greeting, we're a friendly bunch, so it was noticeably cold. Someone tried to break the ice, no reaction from the angry robot. My sister, asked for an extra napkin 3 times, it never came. My brother in law, Len who is a senior politely asked for a refill on his coffee, she reprimanded him as if he was a 5 yr old boy and said, "You'll have to wait, there are others before you! " We sat there in shock!

The food, forgettable. The restaurant, forget it! The two stars were for the atmosphere alone.

Got the special and it was better than I thought it would be. I got the hot beef with grave and it was lots.l was full and had no room for any more.

The staff here is so helpful. If you go often enough, you get to know the regular customers, or become a regular customer, and it becomes a meeting place of friends.

Pretty good all day breakfast overall.

I ordered the French toast and the only things I wished was different about it was maybe use a traditional French toast "Egg Bread" instead of thin sliced plain white bread.
And then a good idea for 'to go containers' is to cut the corner so it can let the stream escape allowing the home fries and French toast to stay on the crispy side and not get soggy. Thanks!

Good quick service diner in the shopping district of Summerside. Prices, service and food quality are all reasonable.

Ordered my food. It arrived quickly. Eggs (overcooked) were hard through and through. (Supposed to be over easy.) The toast was clearly toasted long before the rest of the meal, perhaps even mass toasted, dry and floppy. Like consistency of bread. Tha sausage was burnt. The only thing I was pleased with was the coffee and home fries. But what really sealed the deal that we'll never be back. At no point did anyone of the serving staff check in to see if we needed anything or if the meal was good. Not even at the cash. When I asked for a receipt from the register she told me that debit was all they ever give and threw it on the counter infront of me and walked away. Even on a bad day this is unacceptable. N wonder Maid Marion's pulled the rights to use their name in Summerside. High standards do not exist here.

Check out country oven a little further up the road. Even the odd bad plate from them and they usually make it right on the spot so you leave feeling valued.

Awesome food and price's super friendly staff great coffee and can buy art off the wall's from local artist will be back.

We have never had a bad meal. When we go out for breakfast or lunch, we eat here 90% of the time.

The floor staff are always so polite and wonderful, and the food is fantastic. Best comfort food in Summerside, a real hidden gem for tourists.

Fast, hot, good portions, well prepared and tasted great! Service was also fast, friendly and attentive!

Watch out! Talk about being nickeled and dimed! We went in for the 'special', 2 turkey sandwiches for 12 dollars, had coffee (tiny cup- no refill) a 7-up - plastic bottle - we were asked if we wanted peas and onions- never occurred to us that they'd charge 2 bucks per person extra! I would have thought, what would amount to scoop of mushy peas and a half an onion, should have been included- we didn't realize we were being charged - we asked for the gravy on the side - and we were given what amounted to double gravy- on the sandwich and a gravy boat full- which we didn't touch.
25 bucks!
Be careful if you choose this place - be sure they aren't charging all sort of sneaky little extras - we felt cheated and will never return.

Friendly service with VERY reasonable prices. The menu had something for most everyone's tastes and the food was very tasty with perfect sized portions. We will definitely return.

My family and I have been dining at Granville St Diner for years and I have to say that the restaurant has improved drastically. They offer different daily specials and each one is delicious, staff are very friendly and very well balanced so the flow of service works speedy and very well, food is always the perfect temperature, very tasty, dishes are always clean and the restaurant itself is usually clean and neat. I would highly recommend this place to anyone of any age for a speedy, tasty and very friendly dining experience. Very down to earth! We enjoy every visit. I will add that it would be great to see them update some of their seating.

Food was excellent, (I had the lobster roll and clam chowder, my friend had the eggs Benedict). Light atmosphere, airy room and lots of local artists sharing their works on the wall. Highly recommended.

We just ate here and I highly recommend it. Both the food and the service were excellent. The prices are great and we got lots of food. I asked a lady from Wal-Mart where to go to eat and she recommended this restaurant. I am glad we went. The milkshake took me back to my younger days. They call it an old fashioned milkshake and they are absolutely right.

Good food, fast and friendly service at reasonable prices. Only negative was that they charge a lot for extras that I would expect to come at no charge, such as fried onions in your potatoes.

Been here a few times and they probably have the best food! I love this place and it's my favorite place to eat when I visit PEI!

This is our 3rd visit there for breakfast and the 3rd time it's been lukewarm to cold. We wont be back. The servers were super friendly and fast.so that part I have no issue with, but if I'm paying for my food at a restaurant I expect it to be hot.

Worse fries with works ever. Small portions. I even paid extra for poutine cheese.
Very surprising because in the past I was always pleased. I wonder what changed
