Janet is so welcoming and knowledgeable! She explains everything in a way that's easy to understand and she takes a lot of time with each guest to make sure they have the answers they need. The yarn dyeing workshop was an amazing experience and I'd highly recommend it to any yarn enthusiast!

Awesome place! If you're anywhere close to here, or traveling through, it's a must visit. Janet is great and the animals are obviously cared for well. Great way to spend an hour and a half, and a good place to buy some alpaca wool products as well.

Had a great time learning about alpacas. Very friendly and informative. The spinning lesson was great! It's amazing how their coats become yarn. A definite must visit.

One of the highlights for us during our vacation on PEI. Informative and interesting. Janet is very kind and very knowledgeable. A great storyteller, too. One can tell she loves what she does and cares deeply about her fleece-y friends.:) The store is worth checking out as well.

I wanted to learn more about the locals and farmers on the island and came across Green Gables Alpacas. Janet was dealing with a sick animal the day we visited and she soldiered on. Right from the moment I entered to the time I left her passion for all the animals on the farm shone through every word she said. Extremely knowledgeable in all things alpacas!

I had a farm tour where we learned all about the alpacas, and got to ask unlimited questions about the land, the animals and more. We were shown the results of sheering, a spin demonstration and of course met and hang out with Grizwold the llama! She has a cute little shop with yarns, hats, mitts, and more.

Her story on starting the farm is one that should be acknowledged, praised and told. Absolutely recommend this sweet spot to really connect with the hard working people of PEI.

This was the start and a major highlight to my wife (Maria) and I's vacation trip to PEI. We had our pictures taken with the resident guard llama Griswold and got to feed him some apples. At the end of the tour, Janet showed us how she spins the fibre and answered all of our questions. She even told us about the different qualities of fibre, how they differ. Definitely recommend anyone coming to PEI for vacation, like we did, or in general to book an appointment for this very informative and fun experience!
