Green Island Getaways

We booked a tent months in advance with the manager and received a confirmation email that we would be in Tent #2. We did find it odd that she didn't take a credit card number at the time of the booking. (now it all makes sense though). We called about 6 times and emailed just as many with no answer from her. We showed up to the property, she was no where to be found. Kitchen staff said she wasn't on site today and to just drop our stuff in the tent and they'd try and get ahold of her. A few hours later she called us and told us to come back and remove our things from the tent because she is giving it to someone else. She also said she didn't care if she gets bad reviews because the business is being sold and it won't be her problem. So Buyer Beware. She has no problem running the name into the ground. And be skeptical if she doesn't ask for a credit card. She does it on purpose so she can kick you out if need be.

Bronwyn should be ashamed of herself. Absolutely terrible manager. I knew something didn't feel right when she didn't take my credit card to hold my reservation. She told me the tent number and said I can pay when I get there. I felt uneasy about the no credit card for guarantee so I tried to call to confirm 5 times no answer, no voice-mail. I emailed 4 times with no response to confirm. So I figured she must just be busy so we took her word and packed up 3 kids, drove 3.5 hours in thunderstorms to get there. Confused on where to check in I went to the kitchen and the guy tried calling Bronwyn (no answer) he said just go to the tent. We unpack, kids are excited, we head to cavendish. Get a phone call from Bronwyn that we need to come take our stuff out she double booked. I told her that she was going to get this bad review but she said "go ahead give me a bad review I don't care I'm selling the place anyways". She proceeded to go on about medical issues she had and medication she was taking etc. So here we are in the vehicle with our stuff and no accommodations, disappointed children and 3.5 hours from home at 7pm. You can not care about your business Bronwyn but how about you start caring about people! At least help a family find another place to stay!

Amazing place to stay. Beautiful cabins and scenery to explore. Not to mention amazing people and very accommodating.
