Hillhurst Inn

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
The room was clean and well set up. Nice big two person tub. Loved our private balcony with private spiral staircase. The main lobby is open all night for lattes and cappuccinos. Breakfast was really tasty and again the service was great. Also the location can't be beat as it is only a couple blocks to the harbor and many stores and pubs. We would go back.

I and my partner stayed 4 nights. Very charming building inside and outside. There are some buildings in the property, and sharing the seating space with fire in the middle. Also parking spaces are shared with them. Most of the time we parked behind the Fairholm Inn which has more lots instead of right beside the building. It takes 1 minute walk which means nothing. They have great breakfast. Everyday I tried something different. Close to nine, breakfast becomes pretty busy. You might wait to be seated. To the dock area, it takes little more than 10 minutes on foot. If you want to eat around, you can find great food with short walk. They have beach chairs and towels if you are going to the beaches.

Big rooms.very small bathrooms which is typical at any old B&B's out east. Breakfast was fine as you don't get much. Get there early for breakfast as one small room serves all of their properties around them and people had to wait at 9am. They have a coffee machine which is the best I have ever seen.

The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and mediocre hotels that rob you and yours of your getaway experience.

Service and comfort 10 stars! Mitch at the front desk gave us amazing recommendations for site seeing and food. He did not steer us wrong once! We really enjoyed every minute of our stay. In house brunch service was great. Location was prime to downtown!

Clean but starting to show its age. Eggs were terrible but there were options

Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely individually furnished rooms in harmony with the heritage of the building. Very comfy beds, if a little high! Cosy and beautifully furnished lounge and dining area with plentiful supply of free teas and coffee. Breakfasts were great and i can recommend the superfood smoothie breakfast bowl - so beautifully presented and bursting with berry fruits! We stayed in the Sydney bedroom which has a huge bathtub and double shower and was immaculately clean. This inn was a perfect base from which to explore Charlottetown and the rest of PEI which is a very lovely island.
