Sharon and Mike are one of a kind. We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights in their very special home. From the moment we arrived we knew that we had chosen the perfect place to spend time in PEI. Sharon and Mike are amazing hosts that are caring and thoughtful, that make you feel at home. We can say that there are many reasons why this place is so special. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Mike and Sharon have literally thought about and provided for every need that a guest could have. The bed and sheets are super comfortable and the home is super clean. They also provided refreshments and treats very thoughtful. The breakfast is definitely an event you don't want to miss, the food is delicious and plentiful and there was a different menu each morning. Every morning Sharon creatively decorates the breakfast table to a different theme. The settings are simply amazing. Sharon and Mike also provided us with great suggestions for local places to see and where to eat. We have very fond memories of our first visit to PEI. Thank you Sharon and Mike.

This is an absolute gem of a B&B! The home is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Summerside and the room we had for three nights (the King Room) was very nicely appointed with so many thoughtful little items available for our use. The B&B has a very homey feel with nicely decorated rooms and hallways, plus it was very clean. Our hosts, Sharon and Mike, were so welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable. And the breakfasts…oh my…over the top! The little home made treats available for us at the end of a day of touring the island were such a nice touch too. Plus, Sharon and Mike were a wealth of information on places to visit on the island. They were so helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this beautiful heritage home B&B and we will hopefully have an opportunity to visit their again!

Island Home B & B is better than home… Sharon and Mike are gracious, friendly, inviting hosts. The pride in their home and business is evident- as previous reviewers indicate, the rooms are beautiful, immaculate and very comfortable; the breakfasts are divine and feature fresh ingredients- many of which are locally sourced. My family and I stayed in the “Prince” and “Queen” rooms and even extended our stay by a day, we enjoyed it so much. Sharon and Mike’s recommendations for things to see and do, as well as places to eat were on point and helped us have a wonderful experience in PEI. Would highly recommend- has to be the best place to stay in Summerside!

Wonderful, wonderful experience. This Bed & Breakfast is amazing. Great parking. Very safe. Spotless from top to bottom. Rooms were beautiful and well stocked. Incredible attention to detail from the decor to the linens to the place settings. Fresh desserts (fudge, cookies, mini donuts) in the shared area to snack on. Breakfast was phenomenal every morning. Coordinated, themed place settings and tableware. Even Sharon's aprons. Each day's breakfast was different.all incredible with a focus on fresh, quality, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. We had, on different mornings, waffles with fruit and whipped cream, poached eggs served on hashbrown patties with ham, egg boat croissants, French toast casserole with caramelized pecans. Tons of coffee, tea and juices, bacon, sausages, PEI potatoes, fruit and berries, fresh baked bread, award winning cheeses and locally produced jams and maple syrup.

Mike and Sharon, the hosts, are wonderful. Warm, welcoming, and ready to help make your stay at their B&B, and on the island, incredible. So knowledgeable about local restaurants, beaches, and attractions. Lots of brochures and maps available as well. Every guest we spoke to during our stay was equally impressed.

I do not have enough good things to say about our stay here. I cannot recommend enough.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the King room at Island Home B&B, and we absolutely loved it! Sharon & Mike are wonderful hosts. The room was spotlessly clean, with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in and a large private bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic - we had poached eggs the first morning and waffles the second morning (complete with an impressive topping spread including Sharon's homemade strawberry rhubarb sauce). Sharon & Mike take care to provide local foods from the island (preserves, maple syrup, cheese etc). Sharon & Mike go above and beyond to make your stay truly special - we can't thank you enough and hope to be back in the future!
