Joey's Deep Sea Fishing

We went on the morning fish, and had a great time. The captain and crew were helpful, funny, and great to be with. We were a family of 4, with 2 kids, 7&9. We caught lots of fish and the kids enjoyed the entire trip.

Had a great time deep sea fishing with Joey's! We had a group of 8 and it was such a fun afternoon! Water was a bit choppy so if you have motion sickness, this may not be the best activity.
Staff was very friendly and helpful! Very knowledgeable about the fishing industry and telling some stories
The only thing that could be improved is the fileting of the cod we caught. We went out 7 years ago with Joey's and they fileted the cod perfectly and this time there was a lot of bones still in it that we had to take out before we cooked it.
Overall it was a great experience and our dinner was amazing that night with our fresh cod!

They were super accommodating and nice. Our daughter has special needs and hurt her foot the day before, they let us board first and set a bench up for her to sit at on the boat while we fished.
The crew were very friendly and informative and made sure everyone had a great time.

Awesome experience! We had our two young kids with us and they had a blast as well. It didn’t hurt that we managed to catch some mackerel and a nice big cod. The staff was amazing and so thoughtful with the kids. It’s no brainer fishing but they did a great job setting everything up and making it a wonderful time.

We had a great time with Captain Jaimee on a sunset 5-8 pm fishing tour. We cought lots of fish and everyone on the boat shared the catch.
The crew knew what they were doing and were very friendly.
We went out about 40 mins from harbour, then moved a few more times to find the fish. We were 20 on thr boat with enough seats for everyone. Half the boat was covered so we could all hide under the roof when it rained for a little bit.

My family and I had an amazing time great crew great captain and Joey's daughter at the front desk very nice one of the crew guys gave me a bucket with ice to make sure my catch stayed nice and cold

What a great experience overall. Two adults with 6 & 9 yr olds and each of us used the rods, caught fish, and had a blast. Everyone in the crew helped make it enjoyable throughout the trip! Would definitely go with them again!

Our charter had all ages, from small kids to my grandmother who is 86. Everyone had a blast! 10/10 recommend. We caught tons of fish, and everyone working was lovely!

Captain Dave and Crew were entertaining and very informative. Our group had a fun evening of cruising and fishing. Would highly recommend

We had a blast! The crew was perfect, they made the experience easy and fun as we had no fishing experience.
We fished mackerels to begin, and used them to fish cod afterwards. It was great to be on the sea, even the boat ride out of North Rustico was very enjoyable.
Would recommend Joey's any time!

We had a fantastic time. The staff were terrific and the Captain ensured we had a great experience. We caught plenty of Mackerel and some nice size Cod and learned a little about the area too. We felt safe and were well taken care of and the trip was just the right length. Thanks to Captain Dave and all the crew! Hope to come back again.

The staff were nice. The fish trip was disappointing because the boat was so rocky. Years ago I took my kids on Bob's deep sea fishing the waters were calm. Having said this is not the staffs fault. Two thing s needed water for people and pills for sea sickness

The staff were WONDERFUL! Everyone who worked there was incredible, patient & kind. We had a lovely time.

The reason for the 4-stars is that I wish I would have known we were just heading out for mackerel/that cod wasn’t in season. We were hoping for some bigger catches - and I don’t recall seeing any information on the email/website that that would be all we would be going for.

If you are a beginner or if you have kids, this trip is perfect for you! If you are experienced, I would suggest contacting them ahead of time (like I should have done) and find a different option. I would have been happy to pay for a different type of trip had I known we were only going after smaller baitfish.

Again, they were LOVELY and I definitely recommend them - just make sure to contact them beforehand about the type of catch you’re going for!

Went on an evening trip with 5 family members. The two grandsons had a great time. My wife caught her first fish ever. The crew did a great job of guiding the trip.

8 of us went out and had an awesome time. Didnt have to drive for hours and mackerel fishing was a blast. Cod fishing was catch and release and we didnt need to spend hours waiting for bites.

I initially wanted to cancel the trip as I have a fear over the ocean and I am so glad that I didn't. It's one of the best PEI experiences that I had. The captain and another member from the crew were super helpful and kind. I have never caught a fish in my life and this time I did and it brought joy to my day. I can feel the same energy from other guests and we were in a boat full of happy faces which I am grateful for as I haven't had the same feeling back in the city for awhile. As someone who doesn't like the hooks, being able to catch one and release one was a good balance for me.
