Had a very difficult time getting to speak to anyone, it has always beeing like this.

I have never been transferred to the right number in all of the times I have called. You have to explain your situation to about 5 different people before you are connected to the right person. Also, to make a payment, you have to pay with cash or cheque. Crazy it is 2023 and this company still can’t process an e-transfer or debit transaction. If my job gave me the choice I would never choose Johnson’s for insurance for anything. Poor service all around.

Poor poor customer service. They can’t answer questions on products they sell. And if you ask you get the tone, a tone of condesecension change in the voice of the representative. They are impossible to deal with and get basic answers from. If it was pose to give a zero I would. Unless you have to avoid at all costs unless you like getting treated poorly.

Hours aren’t great. I had to pick up a claims cheque at this location, and live an hour away. I took time off work to do so and was held up by a bit of traffic. I called ahead while on route to let them know I was running a bit behind (which is a process in itself as the phone number on google goes to head office in Newfoundland who has to message the Ch’town office). I arrived 5 minutes after their posted hours and was told by the remaining staff that the home and auto people had left and there was nothing they could do. I guess the 10 mins late they would have had to stay was more important than the 2 hours I drove to get there and back.

Very helpful staff with excellent service. They give you all the information you need with the best coverage! Waiting time is pretty fast as well.
