Mell and Dave are two of the nicest people you will ever meet…the inn is our go to spot every summer.

So much to see.really quiet, plenty of room to go for long walks along the cost.

Mell and Dave are also accomplished cooks and we’ve had the pleasure of their amazing meals for a large number of years.

You will leave there with an experience that will last you a life time.

I traveled to PEI to hike a section of the Island Walk trail, and my introduction to this particular inn began when Dave picked me up at one of the trail connections near New Zealand. I really can't begin to fully convey the warmth and gregariousness of the Johnson Shore Inn and its wonderful owners. Mel and Dave are exactly the kind of hosts and human beings that you hope to encounter when traveling. (Their dog and cat, Jonesy and Stinky, are also a sweet pair.) The rooms are beautifully put together, the views of the coast are breathtaking, and the dinner and breakfast offerings are nourishing beyond belief. My only regret is that I could only stay one night. Since returning home, I've pretty much become a walking, talking billboard for the Johnson Shore Inn, and if you're heading to the northeast side of PEI, I highly recommend making base camp here. Ideally for a few nights.

We stayed at the Johnson Shore Inn for 3 nights in mid-September. It was absolutely wonderful!

We loved how remote the location is and how the Inn sits alone overlooking the red cliffs. The views are spectacular.

We enjoyed the walking/hiking trails around the Inn that bordered the ocean.

Mellanie and Dave are wonderful hosts. The full breakfasts and the excellent dinners were delicious.

We also appreciated how clean our bedroom and bathroom were.

We will definitely return.

Beautiful B&B right on the coast with beach access. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great!
The hosts are very welcoming and some guests still sat together in the evening.

The Internet also works well and is fast, and a charging station seems to be being built for e-cars at the moment.

This was our favorite place on PEI, nice people, fantastic location, the room was very comfortable and pretty. The breakfast was amazing.

My brother and I stayed at this beautiful inn for two days during our vacation in PEI. Dave and Mellanie were so hospitable and kind even staying up late to welcome us when we arrived late to check in. The breakfast and amenities were wonderful and we even had a delicious supper our last night there. They have amazing sea and cliffside views, and Dave gave us a list of places to visit during the day, including a secluded beach we really enjoyed. Definitely recommend the Johnson Shore Inn to anyone looking for incredible accommodations!

We had a beautiful 3 nights at this inn and Mel & Dave were wonderful hosts. They served us a delicious breakfast (even offered to get food ready for us the morning we left before 4am), and made sure we felt at home.

The inn looks out on the ocean, is seated on a cliff with a large property.

Would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice hosts who can whip up a great breakfast! The Inn is on an amazing ocean view. It was great to watch the lobster boats during breakfast. Clean room and a clean private bathroom.

They have a dog and cat but they are very well behaved and will not bug you or go near rooms.

What a friendly and welcoming place. My friend and I were on the island for some Salmon and trout fishing and stayed 3 days. Felt like home, relaxed good food and good company. The owners fostered a feeling that meant all the guests ended up chatting and it made the whole experience one of the best I've had. I hope I will be able to return next year with my wife to enjoy it all over again.

I had reserved a room for 2 people more than months and during our trip, my daughter had decided at last minute to come with us, which is completely normal.

I traveled a little more than 1400 km, once arrived on site (8: 00PM), the manager told me that we could not be 3 in the room

All these answers were with a tense face, he made no effort so that we could not spend the night at the hotel

it's simple it's like we were undesirable in his hotel

I explained to him.that we come from very far away and we need to spend the night to rest, her answer was just NO, NO NO

Me, I do not recommend this hotel totally

My conclusion, the manager does not care about the customers and their well-being

The place is amazing! The views are stellar, the rooms delightful, and the food is wonderful. We really enjoyed meeting and sharing time with other guests at dinner. Mel and Dave are superb hosts. This was one of the highlights of a 3 week adventure! Thanks again Mel and Dave!
