Absolutely the best restaurant you'll have the pleasure of visiting. Chef Greg and his staff were the perfect hosts to end our family vacation. Every dish we ordered was a knockout and we cannot wait to return. A gem of a spot with food that will warm your belly and leave you wanting more.

Food was excellent but somehow they forgot us. I asked twice. Was told there was a large group they were dealing with. Really not my problem. Did eventually get to eat.

I was very excited to see new restaurants open this year. We are seasonal residents and dine out quite often. Our friends had told us how much they enjoyed La Rose Bistro and we read the wonderful reviews. We were very excited to try this new restaurant. When we entered the staff were quick and very friendly. The old house is very pretty. The chairs are VERY uncomfortable but I thought, if the food is as great as I heard, it would be ok for that small amount of time, though I wouldn't want to sit there very long. My husband and I both ordered the Chick n' chilada, It came out in a hamburger bun not a tortilla. The filling itself was just OK, nothing special at all. It came with potato wedges which were obviously reheated, not fresh. The waitress never came by to ask how we were enjoying the food, which I found odd. This meal was $22 each before taxes and tip. We were very disappointed and would not be able to recommend this restaurant nor will we return

Best seafood that I had in PEI. The potato wedges could be better though. It was dry and overcooked.

We went there again the day after. The service is fast and the food is great.

I ate here with my mother for her birthday and the food was delicious, the service was amazing. However I can tell that the servers are overworked and stressed out. My server told me to keep our tips because the owners take them. This is unacceptable and outrageous. It’s such a pity that the food is so good but the chefs/owners are disrespectful.

My son and I stopped by for lunch with a friend and we were treated with extremely friendly service and even better food! We got the Pork Belly BLT and it was even better than I could have imagined. And the potato salad, YUM! The chef even brought out our dessert and stayed for a little chat. Will definitely be back before they close for the season!

*dessert was gone before I thought to get a picture but it was the best carrot cake I’ve had in a very very long time (or ever).

Wow! What can I say about this place! We just had the most delicious meal here today at La Rose Bistro.

The atmosphere is perfect and we had the friendliest server, Colby was her name. The food was amazing! My husband had the Mussels to start with and he said they were so tasty! I couldn’t believe the serving size of them! I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was the best Chicken Alfredo I have ever had! It was so rich and creamy. The portion was quite large and I had to take some of it home. My husband had the Scallop Alfredo and he said it was amazing! I counted at least 7 HUGE scallops in his dish.

This restaurant is a perfect gem of a spot! I highly recommend eating here. It was one of the best meals if not the best meal I have ever had! We will definitely be back!

The service was great, the food was alright. I could hear the chef yelling at the waitresses which I didn’t like they were all doing a great.

I really wanted to like this restaurant more than I did. We went on Friday night and it was close to closing time so maybe that's why it wasn't the best, but the place seemed understaffed. Shortly after we arrived the couple next to us was served their meal. We overheard the server apologizing for how their meal took so long to make. Turns out it had been over an hour since they ordered. We saw several other tables without food and got worried. But then our server showed up and gave us waters pretty promptly. She took our orders. Four people in our party got the chicken fettucine dish that contained mushrooms. We said twice that NO ONE wanted mushrooms in their dish. All four arrived at our table with mushrooms. LOTS of mushrooms. We asked for a separate dish to pull out the mushrooms and put them on it. It was covered.which ended up being a good thing because my daughter got the kids meal burger. She said it had no flavor. She added some of the mushrooms to that so it wouldn't be totally bland. I got a salad.it was very overdressed and the dressing wasn't very flavorful either. After we were finished it took a long time for someone to realize that we were done. Our initial server never came back to the table after giving us our meal but a manager came to give us the bill. We explained that 4 of our dishes had been full of mushrooms even when we requested no mushrooms and she offered a half-hearted apology. When we left some of the tables that had been there before us were still there when we left. Sorry for them! We won't be back any time soon.

Everything about this place was amazing, from the atmosphere, to the service, and the food was out of this world! Easily the best restaurant in Cavendish. We can’t wait to go back!

La Rose Bistro is a must when your in Cavendish! The food is delicious and prepared wonderfully. We arrived as a group of 10 and the were seated promptly in a full dining room. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. We all had appetizers which consisted of Seafood Chowder, Mussels and the crab dip everyone really enjoyed them and left us excited for our main dishes. The chicken fettuccine is absolutely delicious and I had a little taste of the scallop risotto and again delicious. Hoping to save room for dessert next trip!

I feel odd for giving 5 stars to a restaurant in a tourist village, but their Po’boyster sandwich was spectacular! It was very fresh and I was honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The Moscow Mule was refreshing and the service was very friendly.

Bonne cuisine mais on mise un peu trop sur l’apparence et pas assez sur l’authenticité des aliments. Et étrangement il n’y a pas de toilette dans le resto.
Le service est ok sans plus.
Aussi le resto est situé dans un quartier artificiel et sans vraiment de caractère.
