Beautiful, well-kept property. Petting zoo is clean and animals are healthy. Huge park. So happy we booked here.

Fourth year tenting here with my little one, she likes it but the place could probably put a little more effort and time into things. No soap dispenser in our closet bathrooms, one little boy told me it's because someone keeps stealing them. Well put a better box around it, one you can't remove. Soap shouldn't be a luxury after you use the bathroom. It's been a wet year and there's many ruts filled with mud and muddy conditions, perhaps some topsoil and grass seed would help next spring. It's a, massive campground with lots to do and good location, spend a little on the extras to keep yourself a top notch place.

We stayed in 2 different cabins (deluxe and Chilliwack) on our visit. A LOT of little things piled up making our stay un-enjoyable. The exhaust vent in the bathroom leaked while it rained so you got wet everytime you went the the bathroom, the stove only had ONE knob on it so we constantly had to take it off to control the other burner, our front door leaked quit a bit (they informed us of this but no compensation was offered) beds were probably the most uncomfortable beds I've ever laid down on, there was a random sock stuck on the wall in the forst cabin, tv channels were completely different in both cabins, batteries and remotes were missing from the first cabin, house keeping really needs to a high dusting in both cabin, ceiling fans covered with dust along with the tops of the cabinets and I myself had to dust the leaking exhaust vent so when water dripped it didn't bring the dust with it! For the price we paid I can't see myself recommending it at all. Only great thing about this place was the water park and play ground for the kids. It really shows that there's a lack of management here unfortunately (I've managed hotels for several years) even not even reaching out to negative reviews isn't a good sign for any company.

This campground seems to be marketed more towards kids with the large splash park, multiple playgrounds, petting farm etc however I found it very hard to be there with my kids because there is no quiet time. There were people driving around on golf carts at 2am playing music, it was excessive. There’s some campsites that have minimal privacy and the rest have absolutely none, not even a shrub between them. The staff is also incredibly rude, every single time I had to deal with any one of them it was a very disappointing experience. It’s a shame because the campground itself really is lovely

Our family (in our tent) and my parents (in their trailer) stayed here 3 years ago (summer 2019) and loved it because there is so much for the kids to do. Unfortunately, a couple of nights in, we lost power and there was trouble getting it restored. It made for a miserable couple of nights with nearly no sleep because my husband sleeps with a CPAP machine. If he doesn't have his CPAP, then he snores loudly and I get terrible sleep, and he also does not sleep well. We ended up having to leave early because we were miserable and his sleep apnea is too severe to go without treatment. We needed that power.

Fast forward to the present, we wanted to book there again for the 2023 summer season. Tenting is just too difficult for us now, so we wanted to book a chuck wagon. The website stated that they were anywhere from $90-$125 a night. Pretty pricey for not having a mini fridge or anything basic like that; just like glorified camping, but without the air mattresses, zippers, and had a bathroom; but ok, I guess. I go to make a reservation for the end of June, and it's $150 a night plus tax (PEI is 15%)! Might as well just stay in a hotel at that price. Totally outrageous. Obviously they can charge that much because people are willing to pay it. Must be a lot of wealthy campers out there, I guess. Not accessible at all for single or low income families.

I was there to deliver a office trailer. The owner is very friendly and polite, she has all the accommodations you need when your camping.

I’ve been coming here since I was young and now I bring my family, kids and dogs included! It’s what we look forward to most all year!

I would give no stars if it was an option. I booked this place 2 weeks out and had a email conformation of our booking and 24 hours before we were to arrive, they emailed me that they could not accommodate our booking as they were full. Left us without a place to stay, every single place was full in PEI, we had to scramble and change plans and luckily a place the next morning had a cancellation. They are very unprofessional. They did not call or text, just emailed us, no effort to try to rectify that they ruined our vacation, obviously do not care about there guests. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Really fun campground with lots to do. I wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. Even have security guards!

Nice facility however extremely busy and not much for younger kids. My 4 yr old got run off the playground and jumping pillow

We checked In and were sent to C17. It is like an overflow section. Fully serviced of course but feels like you are not in the actual campground as it is close to the road. We were booked for 2 days, however stayed a few hours then left. Staff were very nice though.

Enjoyed a stay from Saturday evening to Tursday. We tented and organized to be with several family members who got sites of their own. My last stay was eleven years ago and some things have changed. They used to have two pools they have replaced with a large splash pad. They have many activities. The splash pad is very fun for the kids, however not so great for adults who could also use a swim on a hot day.

It was terrible out whole lot flooded up to our ankles. Our things where floating. It took us over three hours to pack up everything and we tried the 1800# and the head office after 9 and could not get through. We got them at 12 still hadn’t eaten or drank water nothing at this point and they said we can give you another site. We said we haven’t eaten we are drenched and cold and what about our wasted day. They said it wasn’t there fault there lot flooded. I have pictures too.

Traffic inside the campground could be improved. Little subdivision lanes are slow going with golf carts and pedestrians. People walking not to rushed to move and kids darting around.

Ideally, there would be a separate lane for road vehicles in such a busy place.

We give this campground a 3.

They offer an amazing huge splash park; for the little kids and the big ones too; many parks for the children to play. Daily crafts-free, among other daily activities (some may cost a fee), including a hay ride nightly -free, petting zoo, plus more (5 stars based on that alone)

The not so great; and why it's a 3: sites were a bit small but if your going to go out on trips and explore the island, then that is not an issue. But bring at least a 50foot water hose to connect. The fire pits are close to the road in the ground and ours and a few others were flooded, so unfortunately no camp fire for our trip. Our picnic table was unsafe to use.

Park seemed well kept and staff attended an issue at the splash park fast and efficiently. The store has a bit of everything, over packed with cheap. 50cent dolls/toys ect.to amazing handmade crafts, I'm sure if you need it it's there.
Would we go again? I'd like to think so as it has made some wonderful memories with our family.
Fun is what you make it

I first camped here 30 years ago. They do a great job of keeping the place clean and the splash park is great for kids. The only annoying part is the golf carts. All hours of the night people (sober and not sober) driving around in golf carts. They are everywhere at all hours of the day and night just making noise. Most are just driving by but many are racing and goofing around at midnight or later. Still going to keep coming back but will have to be more careful to get a site tucked off the main drags.

We stayed at Marco Polo Land while we toured around PEI for a week and used it as our home base. When you enter the park it’s like a small village of campers and RVs but our tent site was in an area with other tents, and there were trees all around for a nice camping feel. We had an electrical site which serviced our site without issue and a water tap right at our site. The people at the registration desk were helpful and kind and the grounds were kept clean. Washrooms were quite close to us and we’re always clean when we used them. Showers were clean and hot and never too busy. Oddly enough the men’s bathroom had no soap or soap dispensers ‍️ Overall Marco Polo Land is lovely and convenient and I would recommend it to anyone travelling through PEI.

Lots of daily activities for the kids. Very safe and welcoming atmosphere. Can feel a bit like a maze until you get used to the lay of the land. Very family oriented. The petting farm was a hit. There's a donkey. Several miniature horses. Rabbits, to which they likely started out with two. Haha. It's a very busy spot in July and August so take your time. Washrooms are tidy. There's 2 jumping pillows. Hay rides, and chocolate bar bingo. There's a store. Restaurant. Arts and Crafts center. As well in the evenings at campfire time, you may have the good fortune of feeling happy, happy, happy, with the strong smell of happy hay wafting through the dense campfire air. Especially in the tenting area. Enjoy your stay.

They is absolutely no wifi at this campground. They claim there is and offer 5 or 6 wifi choices but you can’t connect to any of them I have stayed they for 15 plus years and love the place but need wifi to work and function in the high tech world we live in

Arrived at the campgrounds (7 Aug 2019). The lady at the desk said “I’m obligated to tell you the pools aren’t open ‘cause we are building a water park”.
Shouldn’t it be their obligation to tell you these things when you are booking your site.
A huge amenity people look forward to at a campground, is the pool!
Also, the fire pit is about 30ft in front of the camp site. Almost have to sit by the road to have a fire.
20 September 2019 7:07
Staff very friendly! Room in the inn is decent size, but the bathroom is very tiny. I'm not tall and I had to readjust. It is conveniently close to all tourist attractions and the National Park.
18 September 2019 20:51
Had family get together here and won't be returning. There is no place to swim and the water activities were a joke. Reservations were made months ago and no one contacted us to let us know that the water park was not completed as it was supposed to be when we booked. Worst part was security. We are seasoned campers, all over the maritimes.and yet we've never encountered such unreasonable rules that were unnecessarily strict. It was great to see family, but we will pick another campground next time.

Pro's lots of entertainment to offer the kids and a future splash pad looks like it will be fantastic. Con's very little cleaning.every day we saw garbage sitting around for days (beer cans, candy wrappers).
09 September 2019 23:08
Marco Polo Land is massive. Loads to do for the kids. Activities every day with a new large water park being renovated, multiple playgrounds, petting zoo, rec room, bounce pillows, general store, restaurant, dairy bar, RV spots, tent spots, rental cabins, rental trailers, rental RVs, rental golf carts wouldnt doubt you could even rent a family to camp with if you looked hard enough
05 September 2019 22:11
Entretenue mais lors de ma visite les jeux d eau etait en renovation.des que sera pret ce sera un parc amusant.
04 September 2019 23:45
Good spot, theres a drunk gatekeeper shouting at people for going "too fast" at 15kph. Nice trampolines tho
26 August 2019 7:53
There are no swimming pools even tho it's on their web site.they just got rid of it.and now they are in the process of building a water park.also, the showers at the washrooms are not very good.its very confusing with the hot n cold water.plus. The curtain rods are very small so the water leaks on the floor outside of the shower.also.the toilets in washrooms are very small.not alot of room to sit on the toilet.

The campground advertises pools, however upon our arrival the person working registration informed us that they have closed the pools and are "working on" building a water park. When I asked how long it would take she said "we aren't allowed to say a time it will be ready. " Seeing the look of disappointment on our faces, she quickly told us there are water activities in lieu of a pool - a "foam party" which was a bunch of soap coming out of a spigot that was hiding a massive mudpit with craters big enough to break your ankle.
We got a 2 way serviced camp site (water, electricity) so we pulled up and saw a wooden stick in the back of the site with a tap and 2 outlets that were covered in spider webs and insects. The people at the campsite beside us were also using the same pole. When we turned on our water to fill up our canteens we ended up soaking their firewood because the sites have very little room between them. The firepit was in an awkward spot: in the very front of the site and over far enough that the opposite neighbours car was parked 3 feet away from it. Needless to say we didn't feel comfortable having a fire for fear of setting someone else's car on fire.
The public washroom was often out of toilet paper, and was rather far away from our tent site.
Overall, this place seemed hungry for money and not concerned with customer satisfaction or providing a genuine "camping" experience. It felt more like we had rented a spot in an overcrowded parking lot.
20 August 2019 5:17

The location is great. Very family friendly as there are lots of activities for the kids. The room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller. The room had a very old traditional look which I don't mind but the furniture was too bulky given the size of the room. Also, we did not know that we were given a room upstairs and the place did not have an elevator. Hauling luggage upstairs wasn't fun and there wasn't much room to put the luggage anyway.

Great place to camp. The owners are really nice. The food is only fair. The morning craft program is awesome. I am seasonal there but have camped at many other campground over the maritime in the past and Marco Polo is by far my favorite. They also add new things each year. If there is one thing that needs improving the most is the social media. I think a Social Media Manager should be hired. This is a place that my family will come to for many years to come!
