Great efficient and friendly service! Very pleased with my experience. As a young women, going to the mechanic can often be an anxiety inducing experience - that is not the case at Midtown!

Their service is always friendly, efficient and helpful. I’ve been taking my vehicle here regularly since I moved to the Island a few years ago and every visit has been a good experience. They’ve helped me out when I needed it most and consistently do great service on my vehicle. I would definitely recommend Midtown for your Auto service needs. ️

I'm really glad the "mechanic" who worked on my truck was so useless that he didn't diagnose a squealing serpentine belt/broken alt arm and fix it, even though i made it clear that i was taking a road trip and needed the truck tip top.

This required that i visit another mechanic (lucked out and got an honest and useful technician), who informed me that the brake caliper (i supposedly had the brakes done) hadn't been bolted on. This oversight would have inevitably resulted in the seizure of the front passenger brake, likely sending my truck out of control. Interesting coincidence is that my check tire light came on around the same time and was discovered to be a faulty tire valve (i bought four new tires from this shop unfortunately, and was wondering why the one valve looked different than the others -standard cap rather than the green nitrogen caps), on the same side as the caliper that wasn't bolted on.

I also learned that the right axle had a torn boot and was unlubricated. When the useful mechanic took the part off it tore into two pieces (clearly rusted out). I wonder when that obvious issue would have impacted me.

If I thought such a goon had the brain capacity to plot a murder I'd be dealing with this very differently but I think it's just a dim, unprofessional, lazy, and negligent clod. I just want to make sure that no one else gets their vehicle trashed, or is injured or loses their life due to the shoddy work. For Matt, all of the proper work by the mechanic was done right in front of me so I'm quite certain this is all true.

Another small thing that I discovered after I got my truck back was that there was a large tear on the side of my driver's seat. This could have been the tow truck driver but after learning of the other things I'm inclined to believe it was the "mechanic. "

Thanks a bunch for the horrible experience. I'd rather travel off the island to have my vehicle serviced than risk it with these clowns

J'étais en voyage alors que mon pneu se dégonflait sans arrêt 30 minutes après l'avoir gonflé. Ils ont pris ma voiture sans rendez-vous à 8h15 et à 9h25 elle est ressortie! Ils ont bouché deux trous et cela m'a coûté vraiment moins cher que je pensais! Accueil chaleureux et personnel très sympathique! Je recommande! Wow!

Special thanks to the guys at midtown auto repair. Last month my wife and I and our 5 month old son were on a trip throughout eastern canada. While in PEI we encountered some minor car issues, that if not addressed could have been a lot more costly down the line.

I called midtown auto repair and they were able to slot me same day, and had the issues resolved within a few hours. Also note I was driving from Northern Ontario, and was able to continue my trip out in eastern canada and make it back home without any problems. So whether you are a charlottetown resident or in the area this is the shop to go to for car repairs!

My father and I were on a road trip and had a brand new water pump replaced 3 days earlier blow and the guys here were so so helpful and squeezed us in to get the water pump replaced. Thank you so so much.

My husband always took our vehicles here for a few times now. I met Matt only once when I picked up my vehicle for oil change. Great customer service and affordable price. We have no complaint so far, hopefully never! Work done professionally and always easy to book appointment, we never waited for more than a week. Keep up the good work, guys!

Matt is professional and pleasant, and the atmosphere is calm and efficient. I was late for my appointment and they took me as soon as they could rather than make me re-book, which they didn't have to do.
